The Divots are a five piece band out of
Lugoff, South Carolina. Their sound is
best described as punk based. They
have been around since late December 98,
when they were known as Lucky #7, a
four piece band. In the Summer of 99, they
recorded their first demo --East Coast Wuss
Punk
. During September and October 99,
Lucky # 7 blended with another band known
as Know It All, to create The Divots, with
Josh Bowers joining as lead vocals. Since
the merge, they've matured in their sound.
And on March 30, The Divots released their
first demo with Josh -- I Wish It Were
Yesterday
. Which is readily available on
the merchandise page.

Memebers of the band are: Roger Tremblay on
guitar, Demario Jones on drums, Michael Haynes
on bass, Pat Funk on guitar, and Josh Bowers
doing lead vox. Pat Funk was lead vox for
Lucky #7 and before that Michael Haynes held
that responsibility.

The Divots have been in articles in The
Pitchfork
, a school oriented newspaper,
and The State Paper, South Carolina's
leading newspaper. They're music is known
throughout the state, mainly in Charleston,
