"As you all know by now of the incident that occurred last night, I must share the past behind it. It has nothing to do with Brian. And I sincerely hope that all of you will forgive me and him too for our irresponsible behavior." Em started looking directly at Kevin.
"Go on Emily." Encouraged Howie. The mediator as always, even at a time like this.
"My father, was a big power hungry man. He worked for this huge company in Seattle and for his excellent work my family lived upper middle class. Sometimes his temper would get out of control and he'd hit my mom. But since he never hit me, I wanted him to love me. When I was about 16 and half I met with one of his most important clients that was thinking about going to another company. To surprise my father, I slept with him. I was a virgin and that made his client feel very important, important enough to stay and brag to my father. Before I did it, I made sure that I was little intoxicated so I wouldn't remember it as well its not exactly a normal first time experience. Once my father found out, he was delighted that I had made myself useful finally he lavished me with expensive gifts and anything else to keep it up. From then on for about a year I was my father's little back up plan when things didn't go his way with clients. I would only do it if I got some alcohol though, so my father supplied it just for that purpose. I never drank it unless I knew what I had to do and with so many older guys, I learned a lot about seduction and all that jazz. Just a week before my seventeenth birthday my father he beat my mom pretty badly and threatened to come after me. After that I couldn't be his little whore anymore so I ran away. Carlotta's mom, Mrs. Bradley protected my mother and I from my father. One evening Carlotta and I went out only to find my mom, Mrs. Bradley, and Carlotta's brother Josh dead. My father was there, waiting for us. We called the cops and he was prosecuted for manslaughter. Carlotta vowed to protect me, the rest of my life and I her. Since then she has dealt a lot with fake identification for those who needed to get away. That's how Nick and I got them. And that's why I believe Brian and I did that.It wasn't his fault, It was mine. And I'm sorry." Em explained. Everyone was looking at her in awe, disbelief, and surprise. She didn't know what to do.
"That was still very irresponsible of you." Kevin chastised.
"I know." She confessed.
"I'm sorry Emily, I'm sorry about your childhood, I'm sorry that happened last night, and I'm sorry that I am unable to just forget it and forgive you." Nick shared before getting up and leaving. Emily let her head fall into her hands and let the tears fall. She didn't want anyone to see but it was obvious what was happening. Amy ran to her side.
"Oh Em, he'll get over it. But why didn't you ever tell me all this?" Amy asked curiously.
"I just wanted it to not have happened. Not exist. I was a new person." Em explained sadly wiping the tears away. Everyone was no longer there starring up at her. Lissa and Brian were talking, until Lissa left a little sadly. Leaving Brian alone, just as Nick had done her. He walked up to her and Amy.
"I'm sorry." Brian quietly said.
"Like I said It's not really your fault." Em replied.
"But it is partly and you know it." Brian said.
"Guys, I really doubt its important who you blame. It happened. Wait for your "friends" to get over it and then get back with them or find someone new. You both deserve happiness even if something like this happens." Amy butted in. (EN: U ROK AMERS) AJ soon walked up.
"Hey, can I have my wife back?" AJ joked. They were just about to leave as Kevin walked up.
"Our new flight is in 3 hours. It is for all of us, including you Mr. and Mrs. McLean." Kevin announced before leaving a little disgusted with that group of people.
"I like how that sounds." Amy commented. AJ nodded smiling.
