Chapter 11
"So Tiffany, your giving him a second chance eh?" asked Brian walking down the steps.
"Um... yeah, if he doesn't get drunk for a week," said Tiffany sitting down.
"Yeah Tiffany, he won't be drunk for a long time," said Kevin shaking his head.
"What do you mean?" asked Tiffany.
"Tiffany, hello! The police are after him, remember?" said Brian.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that," said Tiffany.
"Tiffany, he could be charged for almost murdering you," said Brian.
"I know, that. I just forgot. He was being really nice to me and... it was like before when we first got together. I don't know," said Tiffany getting up and walking into the kitchen.
"We're going to go, so you two can sort this out," said AJ getting up and walking to the kitchen. "Hey Tiffany, we're leaving. I'll see you later," said AJ peaking his head around the door.
"Yeah, OK AJ," said Tiffany sniffling.
"Hey, now don't let Brian get to ya. He's just looking out for you. You already know he likes you, so I don't have to explain the looking out for you part," said AJ coming over to Tiffany and hugging her.
"Yeah, I know," said Tiffany. "Thanks AJ."
"Your welcome," said AJ smiling as he pulled away from her. Then both of them heard a door slam and got up to see Jason storming in through the door to her apartment.
"Tiffany, do you know why police are chasing after me?" asked Jason coming up to her.
"I... I don't know Jason," said Tiffany.
"Well why are they?" yelled Jason pushing her.
"Jason, I don't know! I have no idea. Oh wait, maybe it's because they finally found out who almost murdered me. Or maybe, it's from all those times your getting drunk. I don't know Jason, go ask them for yourself," said Tiffany.
"Ohh, that's it bi..." said Jason stopping mid - sentence to see AJ opening up the door, and then seeing the police coming through.
"Jason Shaffer, you are charged with attempted murder," said the head policeman as two policemen came and handcuffed Jasons hands.
"What!?" asked Jason as he was being led through the kitchen and out the door. Then he stopped in the doorway to Tiffany's living room. "You!" he said pointing at Brian. "Your the one that did this! I'm going to get you if it's the last thing I do!" said Jason as he was taken outside.
