Chapter 12

"Where is he? Have they let anybody see him? Is the surgery done yet?" I asked taking a seat beside Brian's mom.

"He's in the surgery room, no, and no but it's almost done," said Brian's mom.

"Oh," I said looking down at my duffel bag and trying to get a piece of gum out.

"Hey look there's the guys," said Brian's mom.

I looked over to the door and saw all the guys pileing in to the waiting room, "Hey guys!" I said waving them over to where I sat.

"Hey is Brian OK yet?" asked Nick.

"I don't know Nick they havn't told us anything, but I'm sure he'll be alright," I said trying to comfort the 6' tall guy.

"Yeah he probably will be," said Nick.

"Hey here comes a doctor!" said Howie pointing out the doctor coming towards them.

"Hello. I'm doctor Wiseman. I was Brians doctor. Now, if Brian's mother and brother will come with me I will take you to Brian."

"Please let me go first! I'm Brian's best friend! We were practicly brother and sister! Please let me go first!" I said.

"No I'm sorry only family members," said the doctor.

"No let her go first. Harold and I can wait," said Brian's mom.

"OK, come with me," said the doctor.

"Thank you sooo much!" I said.

I followed the doctor into Brians room and stood there watching him sleep. After a while I sat down. He stirred a little then looked at me.

"Hey," he said.

"Hey," I said back. We talked for a little while until the doctor came back and told me I had to leave, "Well I guess I'll see you later."

"Yeah," said Brian.

I had told him about how I thought that I was going to lose him and how I was so mad that he didn't tell me.

I walked out of that room happy knowing that we would always be Friends Forever.
