CHAPTER 2
"Here we are," said Brain, "Mall sweet mall."
"Oh brother," I said laughing, "I do not know you."
"Oh yes you do, anyway, you go to the foodcourt and get something to eat, and I'll go get your present, and no you can't go with me," said Brian when he saw me about to say something.
"Oh darn," I said.
"Be right back," said Brain.
I picked a table and sat down waiting for Brian to come back. Then I saw Brians old girlfriend/my best friend. "Hey Kayla come here."
Kayla looked over at me and said "Oh hi how are you?"
"OK. Brians gone to some store to look for a B-DAY present for me," I said.
"Oh yeah your birthday's tomorrow isn't it, I better go get you a present too."
"Geez does nobody like me or something?," I said.
Kayla left and a couple minutes later Brian came back. I looked at the bag that he had laying aganist the table. "No," said Brain when he saw me looking at the bag.
"Yeah but," I said. Then when I saw Brains eyes I asked, "Whats wrong?"
"Well I've got to tell you about something really important," said Brain.
"OK, shoot," I said.
"Well, Kevin called me last night and...uh....well I'm going to be in a group called the Backstreet Boys."
Wanna go somewhere else?
