"Yeah?"Nick replied. "Stay here" "I am in the next room" "no, stay in here with me" Katie said. Nick walked over to the bed and crawled in next to her. "Just hold me" Katie whispered. Nick happlily obligied and put his arms around her. "What's wrong" Nick asked. "Nothing' Katie replied. "Katie" Nick said, not believing what she told him. "I'm just scare' "of what' "I don't wanna talk about it, now shut you mouth or I'm kick you out" Katie said laughing towards the end. Nick kept his arms around her and they eventually fell asleep.
In the morning ~~~~~~ Hayley awoke the earliest. She walked into her mom's room and saw her dad and her mom, where wrapped up in each other's arms, under the covers, sound asleep. She smiled and went into her room and picked up her camera and took a few pictures, of her parents. "That is how it's supposed to be" Hayley said to herself. A little while, after that Nick woke up. He saw Katie lying her his arms. "This is how it's supposed to be" he thought and smiled. He remebered what happened in the very early hours of the morning.
Around 3 AM, Katie woke up because of a nightmare, that she had about Kevin getting killed again. Nick felt her moving, and woke up to see her crying. They started talking quietly. The talking turning it kissing, which lead to, whatever little clothing they had on to be thrown to the floor, and them having sex.
His smiled faded, when he saw her wedding ring and then a picture of her and Kevin on their one year anniversary. Sighing, he gently laid Katie down on the bed, with her head on the pillow he used and got up. He walked into his room and got dressed. "Woah, where are you going" Nick asked as Hayley and Kyle ran down the hallway. "To wake mommy" Kyle said in his baby voice. "We want breakfast" Hayley added. "Let her sleep, I'll make breakfast" Nick said, looking at the two kids. "Fine, how about breakfast from Burger King" Nick asked. "yeah" The two kids replied and ran down the stairs. Nick laughed to himself and followed them downstairs, and called Burger King (it's 2007 and it's my story so Fast Food Places can deliver) "Nick, I'm impressed you feed a 6 year old, a 3 year old and yourself, and I can still see the floors in the kitchen" Katie said. "Ha ha your so funny" Nick replied, sarcastically. "Hayley, Kyle, go upstairs and play, I have to talk to Nick" Katie said. The two kids did what they were asked to do. "Nick about last night, well it was this morning' Katie started. "Don't say anything. It was wonderful right" Nick asked. Katie nodded. "Ok don't say anything to ruin it. I know you're married to Kevin, and that I'm married to Maria, but both her and I don't even really call it a marriage. Last night won't happen again" Nick said. "Ok" Katie said. "Can I kiss you one last time please?" Nick asked. "Of course" Katie replied. Nick stood up and walked over to her. He bent down slightly and kissed her. At first it started out as just a simple kiss, but it grew in passion. They pulled away minutes later both breathless. "Bye Katie" Nick said and walked out of the house.
A few days later~~~~~Kevin came home, from his business trip in Los Angeles. He noticed that Katie was acting quite like herself, but he just shrugged it off, because he thought she was just tired. He also noticed that when Nick came over to pick up Hayley and drop her off, Katie and Nick didn't say one word to each other, which was quite unusual.
One night~~~~~after Katie put all three kids to bed, which usually took about two hours, She walked down the stairs, exhausted. "What's this" Katie asked, as she walked into the dining room. The table was set for two. Two candles were in the middle. The only other light in the room was coming from candles that were placed around the room. Sitting in one chair was Kevin, dressed in Armani pants, and in a black Armani sweater that fit him perfectly, and that showed off all of his muscles. "What are you doing here, I thought you weren't coming home till late tonight" Katie asked. "Forget about work, this night is for you" Kevin said standing up. "Why?" Katie asked. "Because, I felt like doing something to let you know that I love you, and how wonderful it is to be married to you. I love you so much" Kevin whispered kissing her passionately. With that Katie really started to feel guilty, about her and Nick sleeping together.
