Two weeks later ~~~~~~ Hayley was with Katie's parents in New Jersey. Kyle and Alexia were with Kevin's mom in Kentucky. Kevin was taking Katie away for a few days, to an island in the middle of nowhere.
One night ~~~~~ Katie and Kevin were walking along the beach at night, and talking. "Here" Kevin said and pulled out a long thin box from his coat pocket. "You didn't have to" Katie replied. "I felt like it" Katie open it, to reveal a necklace with a diamond pendent in the shape of a heart. "Kev, you really didn't have to" Katie replied. "I wanted to" Kevin whispered leaning down kissing her. "Let me put it on you" he whispered again her lips and moving her long hair to one side then kissing the side of her neck. "Kevin, I can't accept his" Katie said putting the box back into his hands and running down the beach away from him. Kevin stood there, confused. He took off after her. "Katie, honey what's wrong?" He asked, when he came across her sitting on the rocks, that were sticking out into the ocean. "Kevin the night you left for Los Angeles, a few weeks ago" Katie started. "Yeah" Kevin asked. "I slept with Nick" Katie whispered. Kevin didn't say anything. "Did you not hear me? I slept with Nick. Nick and I had sex in the same bed that you and I had sex earlier that day!" Katie yelled, getting very upset. Kevin looked at her and walked away, back to the hotel. "damn you Nick! Me and Kevin were getting along fine but then you had to but in with my life" Katie thought.
About an hour later ~~~~~ Katie walked upto her's and Kevin's hotel room. She placed the key in the door and unlocked it, and went in. "Kev?" She asked, not seeing him anywhere. "It's not your fault" came Kevin's voice. She turned around and saw him walking out of the bathroom. "What do you mean" Katie asked sitting down on the bed. "It's not your fault. It's Nick's he probably persuaded you into it and or forced you. I blame him, not you" Kevin said sitting down on the bed next to her, and taking her left hand in his right hand. "Kevin, I want you to know that I do love you. I really do" Katie said and rested her head on his shoulder. "I know you do. I love you too" Kevin replied wrapping his arms around her. "Let's go to bed. It's been a long day" Kevin said after a few minutes. "I really don't feel like doing anything" Katie said, but the last part was cutoff because Kevin kissed her. "Once, I'm done with you, you won't even think about another man" Kevin said. Katie started laughing. They started kissing again, and they made their way over to the bed, while taking off each other's clothes.
A few days later ~~~~~~~ "Hi Kevin come in" Nick said and let Kevin into his house. "What's up" Kevin asked. "Nothing, Maria's sleeping and the kids are with my parents for the next two weeks' Nick said grinning. "Oh, well Nick I need to ask you something, and it's pretty important" Kevin said walking into the living room. "If it's about the CD, why are you asking me" Nick said, confused. "It's not about the CD, and it has nothing to do with music' Kevin replied. "Ok, so ask me" Nick said. "Nick, in the past few weeks, have you slept Katie?" Kevin asked. "Huh" Nick asked. "Nick, on the night I left for Los Angeles, a few weeks ago, did you sleep with my wife" Kevin asked again. "I have no idea what you are talking about. Katie's gone crazy!" Nick replied. "My wife is not crazy! Nick, exactly four weeks ago, to this date, did you sleep, with my wife?" Kevin asked again, obviously getting pissed.
