"Please arrest her! I know she did it!" Katie yelled at the police officer in charge of finding out who killed Kevin. "How do you know that maria killed him" he asked. "I just know!" Katie said not wanting to tell him that her dead husband told her that Maria killed him. Katie didn't want him to think she was crazy. "I can't arrest her without any suspicions or leads or evidence" He replied. "Can you at least talk to her?" Katie asked. "That I can do. I will go over there and question her. Can I ask you a question" He asked. "Yeah" "How can you be so sure that she kill your husband. She is what 5'1 and weighs about 105 pounds, your husband was 6'1 and weighed at least 185, and was very muscular" He asked. "Maybe she had help or maybe she was on drugs. Who knows but I do that she killed him" Katie yelled.
Three days later~~~~ "can I help you" Nick asked as he opened the door to find two police officers. "Is your wife Maria Carter home" one asked. "Yeah, come in" Nick said. They walked into the foyer. "Are you Maria Carter?" the other asked, as Maria walked into the room. "Yes" Maria replied. "Good! You are under arrest" The cop said putting Maria's hands behind her back and handcuffing them. "For what!?" Nick asked. "For the murder of Kevin Scott Richardson. You have the right to remain silent" the cop said leading Maria out of the house. "Oh crap' Nick mumbled.
The next day~~~~Nick went to see Maria, in Jail. "This was probably some kind of Mistake, honey. I'll get you out of here in 15 minutes" Nick said to Maria, who was standing behind a glass wall. "No Nick it wasn't" Maria replied. "Yes it was, they probably just confused you. I'm sorry you had to spend the night in this crappy place" Nick said. Maria mumbled something. "I didn't here you" Nick said. "Nick it wasn't a mistake. I killed Kevin" Maria confessed. "What?! Did I just hear that you killed Kevin" Nick asked. "I killed Kevin" Maria repeated. "Why! He was one of my best friends, not to mention, the person who was like my father, since I was always away from home. He was my best friends husband" Nick yelled. "I'm sorry" Maria said. "Well sorry isn't' going to bring him back. I hate you" Nick said and went to leave. "I want a divorce" Nick yelled leaving the room.
Two days later~~~Maria told the judge that she killed Kevin and he sentenced her to life in prison and granted Nick's wish for a divorce. When Nick told Katie that Maria confessed to him that she indeed killed Kevin, Katie lost it. She was screaming at Nick, even though it wasn't his fault. Then she broke down crying. Even Nick cried. They spent the night in each other's arms. They didn't think about it expect that Nick was comforting Katie.
Three years later(2010)~~~~ "What's wrong Nick" Brian asked, as Nick walked into Brian's house. "I got turned down" Nick replied. "Pimp Daddy Carter was turned down by a girl, what a shame" AJ said laughing. "Nick, quit going from girl to girl and then maybe a special someone will come around" Leslie said walking into the room. When Nick was single again, instead of finding the special someone immediately, he became basically a pimp. He was worse then AJ, when AJ was single. And every girl in Orlando knew this. "Katie's coming here tonight" Leslie said. "Really" Nick asked, his face lighting up. "Yes Nick, she is. I finally talked her into getting a baby sitting and just going out and having some fun" Leslie said. Just then the doorbell rang. Nick literally jumped out of his seat and ran to the door. "Hi" Nick said and let Katie in. "Hey Nick" Katie replied and kissed his cheek. AJ, Brian and Leslie all smiled at each other. So far their little plan was working.
Later that night~~~~ "Let's play truth or dare" AJ announced. The 3 beers he had were starting to work on him. "Yeah' Nick replied grinning. "I guess so" Katie said. "Why not" Leslie added. Everybody looked towards Brian. "Sure!" Brian replied. "I'll go first, Katie truth or dare" "truth, I don't trust you AJ" Katie said. "Ok in the past three years how many dates have you been on and has there been anybody special" AJ asked. "None" Katie replied. "Huh" "I haven't gone out on a date and there is nobody special" Katie replied. "Nick truth or dare" Katie asked. "Truth" "do you ever wanna get married again" "Yeah probably" Nick said out loud. "I wanna get married to you, Katie" he thought. "Brian truth or dare" Nick asked. "Dare" Brian said. "I dare you to do what you did on that night back in 99" Nick replied. "Nick no" Brian said. "It's a dare or are you too chicken to do that" Nick asked. "But you tell how it started" Brian replied. "Ok, me and b-Rok went to a club in NY and picked up some chicks. We all went back to our hotel and up to the roof, with a boombox. All of us were drunk and Brian our lovable, sweet, innocent Brian sang "the bad touch" at the top of his lungs while stripping" Nick said. "Oh you've gotta do that' Leslie replied. Brian did just that. When it was over he was red with embarrassment. "AJ truth or dare" Brian asked. "Truth" "Tell us about that certain night in 98" Brian replied. "Me and Kevin went out clubbing I think we were in Los Angeles and we both picked up these two really hot chicks. Any ways me and this girl got back from clubbing and well we were fooling around and wound up getting handcuffed to each other and the bed" AJ said. "It really wasn't a pretty picture" Nick and Brian replied shaking their heads. "Katie truth or dare" "Truth" "Since Kevin was killed when he was out working. What were the last words that he ever said to you. And when was your last kiss and all that goody stuff" AJ said grinning. Brian, Nick and Leslie looked over at Katie. "AJ!" The 3 scolded him. The date Kevin was killed was July 4th, 2007. "Shit! Katie I'm sorry" AJ replied, remembering the day. It was July 4, 2010. Exactly 3 years since Kevin was killed. Katie looked like she was about to cry. "I'm so sorry" AJ said again getting up and going over to her and hugging her. Nick suddenly felt jealous. "It's ok" Katie mumbled. "I'm going home" Katie said and got up off of the floor and walked do the door. Nick followed her. "Can you give me a ride home?" Nick asked. "Sure" Katie replied.
Sometime early the next morning~~~~"hey baby" Katie heard a voice again. She opened her eyes and saw Kevin sitting in the chair in her bedroom. "You gotta stop doing that! Your gonna give me a heart attack" Katie said sitting up in the bed. Kevin got up out of the chair and floated over to the bed. "Watching you answer AJ's question, made me think, why haven't you gone out on any dates" Kevin asked sitting on the bed. "I just don't feel like it" Katie replied. "You're afraid aren't you" "No I'm not" Katie replied. "Yes you are" Kevin said. "Fine I am" Katie said. "Why" "I'm afraid that if I do find somebody that I love as I love you, I'm gonna lose them again, and I don't want you to feel bad" Katie admitted. "First off, I wouldn't be mad if you found somebody you love and who treats you right. I'd be happy cause you deserve to be happy again. And second I wouldn't let anything happen to him or you and both of your families' Kevin said smiling. "I forgot you can do that, since your dead" Katie said. Kevin started laughing. "Start looking for him. I promise you won't have to look very far" Kevin said. "What's that supposed to mean" Katie asked. "Your in love with Nick a.k.a Pimp Daddy Carter" Kevin said then disappeared. "I hate it when you do that" she yelled.
In September~~~~ "No Nick, I don't want to go out with you" Katie replied, slowly closing the door in his face. "Why not" Nick asked himself, and drove over to Brian's. "Pimp Daddy Carter got turned down again! What are girls in Orlando coming to" Brian said laughing and let Nick in. "Ha ha. Katie turned me down. I don't know why. Of all the girls in Orlando so understands me the most" Nick said sitting down on the couch. "Nick you asked Katie out today?" Brian asked. "Yeah about 45 minutes ago. She said no and she looked really sad. I wanna make her happy again, B-Rok" Nick said. "Nick do you know what today is?" Brian asked. "September 14th, 2010" Nick replied. "Besides that" Brian asked. "It's Saturday" Nick replied. "No Nick. Today Katie and Kevin would have been married seven years. It's their wedding anniversary, Nick" Brian explained. "I am so stupid!" Nick said banging his head on the coffee table. "If you keep doing that your gonna lose whatever brain cells you do have" Brian said, laughing. "Shut up, Brian" Nick yelled.
One week later~~~Katie was driving home from her office, that was actually in Orlando. She parked her car at the beach and went out, just to take a little walk. She was about 10 minutes away from her car, when she saw Nick and some girl, who looked like she was a stripper. She watched as Nick started kissing this girl and started to untie the strings that held up her bikini top. Tears suddenly blinded her vision and Katie ran back to her car.
The next day~~~~"What? No she can't be" Nick yelled. "Nick, Katie was in a car accident, last night. It's not a very bad one, but she will need to stay in the hospital for a couple of days. She has a few cuts and bruises and a broken ankle. She's not going to die, Kevin's watching over her" AJ said. "Brian and Leslie are watching Kyle and Alexia, do you wanna take Hayley" AJ asked. "I'm going to go see Katie" Nick replied and got up and left the studio. Before going to the hospital, Nick went to the mall and to a florist.
A few hours later~~~ ‘Katie?" Nick asked, as he walked into her hospital room. He saw her lying on the bed, cover by a blanket that came up to her chest. She was asleep. She has a small bandage on her forehead and a few on her arm. He saw crutches in the corner. He looked back at Katie, and at that moment. She never looked more beautiful. Nick grabbed a chair and put it next to her bed and sat down, and waited for her to wake up. He was almost asleep, when he heard her say his name. "Yeah Katie I'm right here" Nick replied in a whisper. "Nick you didn't have to do this" Katie said looking at the dozen white red roses and chocolates on the table, and a Mylar balloon that said get well soon on one side and I love you on the other, in the corner of her room. "Katie there's something I want to do" Nick replied standing up. He took something out of his pocket and handed it to her. "Open it" he said. Katie opened the small box. Inside was a diamond ring. "I'm not gonna say this big long thing cause I'm gonna screw up. I know I have made many mistakes with everything, including women, that earned me the name Pimp Daddy Carter, but I'm done with that. Katie, I love you so much. Will you marry me?" Nick asked. Katie looked up at him, tears streaming down her face. "Yes Nick" Katie replied.
