That April (2 months later) ~~~~ "Mom, happy birthday" Hayley said. "Thanks...what do you want?" Katie asked. "What makes you think I want something. Can't I wish my mom a happy birthday" Hayley said. Katie and Kevin both looked down at her. "No. I've used the same excuse on my parents. So has Nick and Kevin. Everyone has done that at one point in their lives." Katie said. "Since Dad moved back down to Orlando. He only lives forty minutes away. I wanna live with him. Please" Hayley asked. "Hayley we talked about this" Katie said. "Yeah I know. But I wanna live with dad. This would have been so much easier if you and dad got married and Kevin just stayed away or he was really killed" Hayley shouted.

"Hayley Carter!!!" Katie scolded. "Don't ever talk to me in that tone of voice and or speak about your uncle like that" Katie warned. "Or maybe Kevin could stay and you should have been killed, then I could go live with dad and Kyle and Alexia would stay here with Kevin" Hayley yelled. "HAYLEY ANN CARTER!!!" Katie shouted. "DON'T EVER!! Talk to me like that!!" Katie yelled. "What are you gonna do about it" Hayley asked. "You just won yourself, being grounded for three weeks. No phone, no friends over. You go to school and either Kevin or I will be picking you up, instead of you taking the bus home. What was happening this weekend" Katie asked. "You wouldn't" Hayley said. "Oh yes I would" "But Mom that's just not fair!!" Hayley said. "Yes it is. Your grounded and that means you can't go with your friends to the concert Saturday night...I just might make you listen to NSYNC CD's" Katie said. "No!" Hayley screamed.

"Sweetie, that is just a little bit to harsh. No one should have to listen to Nstink" Kevin said. "Yeah that is a little harsh, but still no concert" Katie said walking up the stairs. "Uncle Kevin?" Hayley asked. "Don't look at me. This is between you and your mother" Kevin said walking into the kitchen.

Over the summer, Nick, AJ Brian, Howie and Kevin all worked together for their 7th album. They didn't let anyone in the media know that they were making a comeback and that Kevin was actually alive. They were writing all of the songs on the album and producing the album, themselves. They all were playing their own instruments on the album, as well.

The 2011 MTV VMA's ~~~~ The VMA'S were held at the Metropolitan Opera House, in New York City, on September 5th 2011. At the very end, the host announced that the award for Viewer's choice, ending the show. The person in charge of getting the bands to perform at the awards show, walked out and took the microphone from the host.

"Actually there is one more group that is going to perform. They have been gone for a long time. I've heard their new album and I have to say that it's very good and here we go again" He announced.

"Everybody, Rock your body. Everybody rock your body right. Backstreet's Back alright" Brian sang, as the curtain was pulled open again.

All five of the Backstreet Boys performed together, in front of an live audience and on live TV for the first time in over five years. At the end of their performance, which included parts of Everybody Backstreet's Back, Larger than Life, I Want it that way, Time, and a couple of other songs, they receive a standing ovation.
