"But Mia, baby it's art!!!" Nick said holding the picture in front of her. "Art? Art?! Who's idea was this?" Maria asked. "Ummm mine" Nick replied. "It's supposed to let our fans know that we are not innocent little boys! We are MEN!!" Nick said proudly. Maria burst out laughing.
"Men? Nick, if you were a man, you wouldn't have been afraid of telling you're wife" Maria said. "Maria, baby I posed with a bunch of naked girls along with AJ, Howie and Kevin Nick said. "There I told you" Nick added. "But it's after the fact, I already know" Maria said. "So you're alright with it" Nick asked. "I don't know. How would you feel if I was in a picture with a bunch of hot naked guys?" Maria asked. "I wouldn't be alright with it!!! First of all if you told me you were doing that, I wouldn't let you leave!!! If you did that without me know I'd....I'd....I'd EXPLODE" Nick yelled. "So how do you think I feel" Maria asked. Nick was silent for a few minutes. "Oh!!! Oh!!! Now I get it" Nick said after a few minutes. "I'm sorry baby, that I didn't tell you. Let me make it up to you" Nick added and walked over to her and picked her up and kissed her. He carried her to their bedroom where they spent the entire night, they didn't sleep at all.

"I can just picture Nick trying to explain that. Was he stuttering?" Katie asked. "Kinda but he apologized for not telling me about the picture before hand and made it up to me" Maria replied grinning. Katie rolled her eyes. I wasn't mad at Kevin for being in the picture but what he said to me pissed me off" Katie said. "What did he say?" Maria asked.
~*~Flashback December 2000~*~
"Katie, you of all people should know that you have to change you're image after a while. It's a way of letting our fans know that we are all grown up and have personal lives and that we are not all that innocent and we do have sex" Kevin said. "It's art, baby. The human body is a beautiful thing' Kevin added. "My rolling stone photo shoot is coming up. So if I have 30 naked guys in a picture with me. I can say the same. thing. It's art baby" Katie replied. "Hell no" Kevin replied.
"Why not?" Katie asked. "Cause! It's not right!! It's ok for ME to pose with a bunch of naked girls but it's NOT OK for you to pose with a bunch of naked guys" Kevin yelled. "I don't understand why it's ok for you, but not for me" Katie asked. "I'm a man. You're a woman. You do as I say" Kevin yelled. "I don't think so. It's the year 2000. I'll do as I want. And I want to have the bedroom for myself tonight, so you are going to have to sleep on the couch. Have a nice night" Katie yelled and walked up the stairs and slammed the door to the room.

"I bet he never made that mistake again" Maria replied. "He learned his lesson for a while' Katie replied. "How exactly did you and Kevin get together. You never did tell me" Maria asked.
"I was in a club with a few friends. I wasn't having a good time. I looked up and saw him. I went over to his table, since no one else was there and we starting talking. That's when I starting having feelings for him. Instead of staying there, we went back to his house" Katie said. "And no we didn't have sex that night" Katie added when she saw the look on Maria's face.
"We waited to have sex. We starting going out on dates. He was a gentleman. Opening doors for me, pulling out a chair before I sat down. All that old fashion stuff. He even asked if he could kiss me. I still remember that kiss. It was our first" Katie said smiling. "I still remember the first time, he told me he was in love with me" Katie added.
"Aww. I remember the first time, Nick and I kissed and the first time he told me he loved me. He was all sweet and romantic. He still can be, but blonde" Maria replied. "Blonde? Try extremely blonde. He burned my house down for a stupid reason" Katie said. "Ok, so he's very blonde but I still love him a lot" maria replied.
When they got to Maria's house later that day, Maria had forgotten that Nick was in the hospital and expected to find her house a complete mess. When she got into the house she was about to call out for Nick but then remembered where he was.
"This is probably the first time, I've come home from shopping or work, to find the house just the way I left it. There are no messes, no smells, no fires, no paramedics here. If Nick was home and I found the house like this, I'd be worried" Maria explained. Katie starting laughing. "How many times have you come home to find the paramedics here?" Katie asked. "At least 10 times. Maybe more. I lost count" Maria replied.
Over the next few days, Maria called a professional to come and fix the deck around the pool. Katie and Kevin spent most of their time shopping for new clothes, a new house and stuff for the house.
Nick was released from the hospital and apologized over and over again for burning their house down and he apologized to Maria for being a blonde. He managed to cook her breakfast and brought it upstairs to their bedroom before she woke up, so that she could have breakfast in bed. Nick was proud of himself. He didn't set anything on fire, he didn't burn anything except for one piece of toast and he managed to bring all of the food upstairs without spilling anything on the floor or on the bed on Maria.
Once Maria was done with breakfast she thanked Nick for doing that. Her thanking him last all morning. She figured if every time Nick didn't act like a blonde, he should be rewarded nicely and he won't ever do anything like that again. Nick definitely agreed with her.
"Mom, why does AJ say that I'm not related to him at all. That I'm adopted?" Katie asked as her mother, Denise opened the door to her house. "There is something that I have to tell you, come in" She replied and let Katie and Kevin in. "What is he doing here" AJ asked looking at Kevin. "Alexander, leave Kevin alone. He didn't do anything to you. And since Katie is not your sister, even if she was, she is still going to marry whoever she wants" Denise. "So all this time I was adopted?" Katie asked. Denise nodded.
"AJ was supposed to have a twin brother. He died right after he was born. I was devastated because we bought two of everything. 2 cribs, 2 high chairs, 2 playpens and so forth. AJ's father, went to an adoption agency. We adopted you through that. You're parents were just right out of his school and couldn't afford a baby. AJ, this is why I always told you that you shouldn't have sex in high school or that you should wait until you're older" Denise said. "Like he did that" Katie mumbled.
"So a few weeks after AJ was born, we adopted you. You were only born a few weeks apart, so we just told everyone that you were twins" Denise said. "So when's my real birthday?" Katie asked. "January 28" Denise replied. "Nick's birthday? Great I go from being born on one Backstreet Boy's birthday to another, just great" Katie replied sarcastically. "Where are my real parents?" Katie asked. "New Jersey. I'll give you the phone number and address. I talked to them a few days ago. They wanna met you" Denise said.
A few days later, Katie and Kevin were in New Jersey, visiting her parents. Katie was still pissed that she found out that she was adopted when she was 23. She thought she should have found out when she was younger. And she shares a birthday with Nick. Once her and Kevin arrived at her parents house. She met them, Michele and Greg and their nine year old son, Matthew, who was also her younger brother. They talked about where her and Kevin were from, how they met, when did they get engaged, what they do for a living. They had no clue that Katie and Kevin were very famous. From about the couple of hours they were there, Kevin came to the conclusion that Matthew was gonna be another Nick, and he was gonna be related to him. He wanted to move to another country.
"Oh before you leave, do you know a Nick Carter?" Michele asked. "Unfortunately yes" Kevin mumbled. Katie punched him slightly in the arm. "Yes we do know Nick, why?" Katie asked. "Well he's my nephew, so that would make you and him cousins" Michele explained. "That means I'm gonna be related to Nick, when Katie and I...."Kevin was unable to finish his sentence because he fell to the floor and passed out. "Is he alright?" Michele asked. "He will be. Nick has just, tortured Kevin for many years" Katie replied and kneeled down next to Kevin.
"Kev get up" Katie said gently, while shaking his shoulder. Kevin opened his eyes. "When you and Nick aren't related any more than I'll get up" Kevin replied and closed his eyes again. "Kevin! You're acting like a two year old. This is something Nick would do. Now do you wanna be compared to Nick?" Katie asked. Still no reply. She leaned closer to him and whispered something in his ear.
"Kev, baby, when we get back to the hotel. I'll call up MTV and tell them I'll come tomorrow for the interview cause I'm not feeling to good. Then we can stay in the hotel room and have hot, wild, passionate, sex, all day and night" She whispered, so only Kevin could hear her. His eyes shot up and he stood up very quickly. Katie smiled to herself. They said good-bye and got into the car and drove to the hotel in New York City.
Once they were in the comfort and privacy of their hotel room, they starting kissing and taking off each other's clothes very quickly. They spent the rest of the day and night in their own little world, doing very nasty, naughty but fun things.
