Two and a half weeks later ~~~~~ Kevin was released from the hospital. It was now the middle of March. Kevin still didn't have his memory back. He remembered a few more things. One thing he did remember that Nick and Maria had known each other since they were 13 years old and that they always liked each other but didn't do anything about it until they were 16 years old. He didn't remember Katie at all. He still didn't understand that he was famous and he didn't understand why he had tons of mail, from all around the world, from millions of girls, telling him to get better. Nick and Maria did let Kevin stay with them. If it didn't help bring back his memory, they figured at least they had a live in baby sitter, that they didn't have to pay. Kevin had become attached to the little baby, almost as much as Nick and Maria were.

A few days later ~~~~~~ "Kevin do you know who any of these people are" Nick asked. He and Kevin were in a Sam Goody looking at the posters. "No? Should I?" Kevin asked. Nick nodded and flipped through some posters. "That's NSYNC, or as you like to call them NSTINK or NSUCK. They are our rival boyband and they copy every little thing that we do. It's sad" Nick said and flipped to another. ‘That's Britney Spears, Justin Timberfag's girlfriend. She copies every little thing Katie does. Except Katie can actually sing and Britney can't. No one of NSYNC can sing either" Nick added. "That's Katie, you're fiancee" Nick said finding a poster of Katie. "That girl that was always at the hospital and comes to your house almost everyday. She's famous?" Kevin asked. "Very famous" Nick replied and flipped to a poster of the Backstreet boys. "Now that's us, the Backstreet Boys. That's Howie, Me, AJ, the guy who caused your accident, Brian, your cousin and that's you" Nick said pointing out the people. "Oh shit!" Nick mumbled, looking at the crowd of girls running towards them. "What?" Kevin asked. "Don't talk, run!!" Nick screamed and starting running out of the store with Kevin following him.

When they were finally away from the girls, Kevin looked at Nick with a really confused expression on his face. "Sometimes we get bombarded by fans, even when we go to the grocery store. One time I was buying condoms at a Rite Aid and I got chased by fans, I never did get the condoms. I think that's why Maria ended up pregnant" Nick said. "And when the fans know we are gonna be somewhere, look out. That's why we have a lot of bodyguards and security" Nick added.

Later that day ~~~~~~ "Hey Kevin what's up?" Maria asked as Kevin walked into the kitchen where Maria was making dinner. "Nick says that Katie is famous? What is she famous for?" Kevin asked. "Music. She's got four CD's. I think there are copies of them down in studio, if you wanna listen to them. You worked on her last CD, along with Nick" Maria replied. "I worked on it?" Kevin asked. "You produced most of the songs on the CD and you and her wrote a couple of songs. You yourself have wrote a couple of songs that are really sweet and romantic. Nick has used them many times to make up for the blonde things he has done" Maria said laughing. "Was one of them called Back To Your Heart?" Kevin asked. "Yeah, now can you remember the words?" Maria asked. Kevin shook his head no. "That's ok. You remember a few things that you didn't remember a few days ago" Maria replied just as the baby started crying. "I'll go get him" Kevin said and walked upstairs to get the crying baby. Just as Maria was about to go back to cooking, the doorbell rang. "Come in!" She yelled not wanting to answer the door.

"Am I interrupting something?" Katie asked walking into the kitchen. "No. You're not" Maria replied. "Where's Nick?" Katie asked. "He went out to get Aaron from the airport" Maria replied. "And Kevin?" Katie asked. "He went upstairs to get David" Maria replied. "Katie, he'll get his memory back. He's asked some things about you" Maria said. "Like what?" "What are you famous for? Yesterday he asked if you were seeing anybody" Maria said laughing. "I don't find this funny" Katie replied. Kevin walked down the stairs, with the baby in his arms. "He's gonna make a good father one day" Katie thought as she was watching Kevin with the baby. She didn't realize she said it out loud.

"Yes he is" Maria agreed. "He treats David as if he were his own kid. Yesterday Nick and me went out with David, to take him to the doctor. Since his appointment was in the last afternoon, we went to dinner right afterwards. Dinner, at a restaurant with a baby is not exactly the easiest thing to do. When we got back, Kevin offered to take care of David, while Nick and me spend some quality time together. And when the baby cried in the middle of the night he took care of him" Maria added. "Can he take of David in the middle of the night, even when he has his memory back, cause man did Nick and I have one fun night" Maria joked. "Aww. He better get up in the middle of the night when me and him have kids. And I don't wanna hear about yours and Nick's sex life. I don't have one right now, even thought I'm engaged, that's screwed up" Katie replied. "Don't worry, Kevin will get his memory back soon and then you and him can lock yourselves in your bedroom and not come out for days" Maria said. "I can't wait" Katie replied laughing. All of the sudden Aaron ran into the kitchen and out the backdoor to the backyard. A few seconds after that Nick came running into the kitchen and out into the backyard. "What did they do know?" Maria asked. "Let's go find out" Katie said and walked over to the door and went outside with Maria following her.

"Nick!!! Aaron!!!" Maria screamed. Nick had Aaron in a headlock and Aaron was trying to trip Nick. "Nick!!! Let go of Aaron!" Maria yelled. "No! Not until the little brat gives me back my wallet. That has all of my credit cards, over 250 bucks in cash and the pictures....Maria "those" pictures" Nick said. "Aaron you give him back that wallet this instant!" Maria yelled running over to the two fighting brothers. Aaron managed to escape Nick's headlock and ran to the other side of the backyard.

"How could you let him get that wallet" Maria asked. "He took it! It's not my fault!" Nick said. The two stood there arguing. "Hello! Aaron's getting away!" Katie yelled. "Oh shit!" The two yelled and took off in the direction Aaron did. When they got to the other side of the backyard Aaron wasn't there. They ran back into the house. Nick ran upstairs while Maria and Katie looked downstairs for Aaron. "I can't find the little brat" Nick said walking downstairs. "We didn't find him either" Maria said. "He better not look in that wallet, Nick. If he does both of you are sleeping outside! For a week!" Maria yelled. "Maria, I said it wasn't my fault he got the wallet. I took it out of my jeans to get 10 bucks to pay for gas. I put it on the seat for a second and the next thing I know he has it" Nick replied.

"What exactly is so special about this wallet?" Katie asked. "Well umm it has umm certain pictures in it that aren't meant for Aaron to see. Nobody but me and Maria are allowed to see them" Nick mumbled. "Ohhh. I don't even wanna know. You better get that wallet back before he takes the money and whatever is in there winds up on the internet" Katie said. "No shit" Maria replied.

"Are you looking for him?" Kevin asked walking into the kitchen with Aaron thrown over his shoulder. "Kevin!! It's me! Aaron! What the hell is wrong with you? I know you don't like me but you don't have to threaten to call the cops on me" Aaron yelled. "Kevin put him down" Nick said and Kevin did what he was told. "Aaron we went over this. Kevin has amnesia. He doesn't remember that much. He probably thought you were a robber. Now hand over the wallet before I let Kevin call the cops on you" Nick said slowly.

"Look at it this way, Aaron hand over the wallet and you won't get in trouble, or don't give us the wallet and you end up in jail and the cops will have to call your mom because Nick and I and even Katie will say that we don't know you" Maria explained. Aaron pulled the wallet out of his pocket and handed it to Nick. Nick opened it and looked inside. "Hand over the cash and the Visa card" Nick said. Aaron pulled both out of his other pocket and handed it to Nick.

Three weeks later (Middle of April) ~~~~~ "Maria, I love you so much. Here" Nick said pulling out a dozen red roses and candy from behind his back and handed them to her. "Thank you Nick" Maria replied and kissed him. "Now what do you want?" Maria asked. "What makes you think I want anything? Can't I tell my wife how much I love her" Nick asked. Maria looked at him. "Ok Nick what are you hiding? What did you do?" Maria asked. "Nothing....yet. I think I have a way for Kevin to get his memory back but it involves me acting like a blonde, like the way I acted when I set Kevin and Katie's house on fire" Nick said. "No! You can't act blonde. I don't want this house burned down as well" Maria replied. Nick walked behind her and placed his hands on her hips and started kissing the back of her neck.

"Please?" Nick asked. "I promise I won't set anything on fire.....wait I promise I wont burn the house down but fire may be involved. Please let me do it" Nick added turning her around and kissing her. "Nick, I don't know.....mmmmm" Maria was cut off my Nick kissing her and picking her up. He carried her up to their bedroom. Once inside the room, Nick closed & locked to the door to prevent any unwanted visitors walking in on them. He placed her on the bed and climbed on top of her. "Well then I'm just gonna have to convince you to let me try my idea" Nick said and started kissing her.

"Ok Nick do whatever you want. I don't care" Maria said three hours later. "Thank you!" Nick exclaimed like a little kid who was just told he was allowed to do something that he really wanted. "Just promise me no one will get hurt and there will be no trips to the hospital and no fires!" Maria said. "I'm not sure I can promise no trips to the hospital....ok ok!! There will be NO trips to the hospital" Nick replied after seeing the look on Maria's face. "I love you" he added.

Two days later ~~~~~~ "I'm afraid of what I'm gonna find when I walk in there" Maria said to Katie and Aaron as she put the key into the lock and opened the door. "Come on open the door Maria!" Aaron said quickly. "What did you do?" Maria asked. "Nothing! I swear! I just gotta go to the bathroom really bad" Aaron lied. Maria opened the door and ran past both Katie and Maria nearly knocking the two down.

Katie and Maria went shopping and Aaron managed to talk both of them into dropping him off at the zoo before they went to the mall. They walked into the house and it was extremely quiet. "I still can't believe I let Nick talk me into letting him act blonde" Maria said. "He talked you into it or "talked" you into it" Katie asked. Maria said nothing. "I knew it" Katie said. Nick walked down stairs smirking.

"What did you do?" Maria asked. "If everything goes as planned Kevin should have his memory back very soon" Nick replied. "What exactly are you going to do to my Kevin? Haven't you tortured him enough over the years?" Katie asked. "I made a few adjustments to the guest bathroom and shower" Nick replied. "What do you mean adjustments and how much is it gonna cost to have it fixed?" Maria asked.

"First when he goes to wash his hands, the shower is gonna turn on. When he goes to turn the shower on, the toilet is gonna flush. When he goes to flush the toilet both the sink and shower are gonna turn on. So once he finally gets the shower on and he gets in there, the lights are gonna start flickering, the water is gonna turn different colors and after a few minutes of this, the radio is gonna turn on playing NSUCK's It's Gonna Be Me" Nick explained. "Also the shampoo and soap aren't really shampoo and soap" Nick added.

"This better work Nick" Katie said. "And it better not cause anyone to become hurt and have to go to the hospital" Maria added. "We should find out any minute now. I just heard the bathroom door close' Nick said. The three adults walked into the living room. They started talking.

After a while both Katie and Maria told Nick that they didn't think his idea was going to work. They spoke too soon. Just after they said that Kevin yelled. "Nick you little motherfucker! Why am I always victim of your practical jokes??? Why am I in your shower to begin with? I'm gonna fucking kill you!!!" Nick, Maria and Katie heard Kevin yell. Nick smiled at them. "I have never been happier to hear those words" Nick said smiling. Just then Kevin appeared in the doorway with only a towel wrapped around his waist.

"What the fuck wrong with your shower? Wait this is Nick's house, that's a stupid question. Katie, why are we here? Why am I in the shower at Nick's house?" Kevin asked. "You remember me? Thank god" Katie replied getting up off of the couch and walking over to him and hugged him. She didn't care that he was still wet from his shower. "Why wouldn't I? You're my fiancee. We are supposed to be getting married today. It's April 20th" Kevin said. "Shit! I forgot. This was supposed to be our wedding day" Katie said. "Kevin lets go upstairs. While you finish your shower in a normal shower, I'll explain everything to you" Katie said. "Sure you're gonna talk. Yeah I believe that" Nick said sarcastically. Just then they all heard an explosion come from upstairs.

"Nick!" Maria screamed. "It wasn't me" Nick replied. Maria walked up stairs with Nick following her. "Nickolas, you promised me no fires!" Maria yelled. "I did" Nick replied. "Then why is the bathroom on fire" Maria asked. "Oops" Nick replied and went downstairs to grab a fire extinguisher. The fire department had given them five free ones. Katie and Kevin went upstairs so Kevin could finish his shower in another bathroom.

"I was like that? You mean I didn't remember you at all" Kevin asked walking out of the bathroom in just his boxers. Katie was sitting on the bed. "Nope you didn't remember me at all" Katie replied watching Kevin get dressed. "Did you enjoy the show?" Kevin asked. "Hell yeah. I haven't see it in months" Katie replied laughing. Kevin sat down on the bed next to her. Katie put her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her. "I've missed you" Katie said. "It was horrible going home to an empty apartment every night for 4 months. Especially when you were awake and able to go home but couldn't come home with me cause you had no clue who I was" Katie added. "I've missed you too" Kevin replied and kissed her gently.

"Katie, Kevin I have a surprise for you!" Nick yelled pounding on the door. Katie got up and walked over to the door and opened it. "What Nick?" Katie asked. "Well since today was the day you and Kev were supposed to get married and Kevin got his memory back today. Why not get married today? I already called a priest and he's here" Nick said. "Get married today? Here? We don't have any rings or a marriage licenses" Katie said. "So you can get wedding rings when you go on your honeymoon and the priest brought a license that just has to be filled out. And all the legal crap just do what I did, use your fame to get out of it. It will work better since both of you are famous" Nick said. "Well I leave you two to talk it over. And just talk cause well there is a priest here" Nick said and walked downstairs. Katie and Kevin looked at each other.

"I don't have a problem with it" Katie said. "Neither do I" Kevin replied. "But you wanted a wedding more than I did. You wanted your family there to prove to Brian that we love each other and that the rest of your family doesn't object to it" Katie said. "So what? A wedding is nice and everything but we would have to worry about security and the media getting in and getting unwanted pictures. Brian will just have to live with the fact that we are married" Kevin replied. "And we are in love. As long as we are together it doesn't matter where we get married. Even if it is in Nick's house" Kevin added smiling. Katie kissed him. "Lets go get married" Kevin said after Katie pulled away. The two walked out of the room holding hands.

"Do you Katie McLean take Kevin Richardson to be your lawfully wedded husband? To love, honor and cherish? To have and to hold, through sickness and in health, till death do you part?" The priest asked. "I do" Katie replied smiling. "Do you Kevin Richardson take Katie McLean to be your lawfully wedded wife? To love, honor, and cherish? To have and to hold, through sickness and in health, till death do you part?" The priest asked. "I do" Kevin replied smiling as well. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" The priest announced. Kevin bent down a little and kissed Katie, their first kiss as husband and wife.

An hour later ~~~~~~ Just as Katie and Kevin were getting ready to leave to go home for their wedding night, the doorbell rang. "Hi Mrs. Carter" The police officer said as Maria opened the door. "Hi and I know you're not bringing news about Nick because he is inside talking to our friends about where they should go for their honeymoon" Maria said. "Has he been home all day?" The police officer asked.

"Yes. He was working on a plan to help bring back the memory of one our friends and surprisingly it worked and it just cased a small little fire in one of the guest bathrooms. No one was hurt or injured" Maria replied. The police officer laughed. "That's good. I'm afraid I do have some bad news. No one is allowed to leave their houses in this town because someone who looked like your husband was at the local zoo today and opened a lot of the cages and fences and let a lot of animals loose. Since you said your husband was home all day, now we have to find out who let them out" The police officer explained.

"Was the guy who looked like Nick, shorter and wearing tan shorts and a white tank top and there are no tattoos on his arms?" Maria asked. "Yes that's him" The police officer replied. "Nick go get Aaron" Maria yelled into the living room. "It wasn't my husband but my husbands little brother" Maria told the police officer. "At least I got the right family just the wrong Carter" the police officer replied.
