Christian was still waiting. It felt like a lifetime
just passed be4 the lift came. When he came we stepped
in in silence. There was an old couple in the lift
too so I didn't say anything. I was thinking about
what Johs said. Did I or did I not mean what I said?
I ment it but I never said I loved him. I just liked
him as a friend. What was I doing to Christian than?
It went as fast as with Josh. But still it was
different. I didn't know for sure. Josh was someone
I'd rather keep as a friend. Christian was someone I
couldn't live without. Wow, couldn't live without...
I've only known him for a few days but I really like
him.
I looked at Christian but he kept looking at the
floor. I was standing on the opposite site of the
lift. suddenly I felt tears in my eyes. I didn't know
what to do. Was I ready to date someone seriously? I
was only 17 and Christian was 27. But he was really
sweet and caring. He made me feel important. Like I
really was special.
"Are you ok dear?" the old lady asked.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I'm ok" I said wiping the tears
from my eyes.
"If you were you wouldn't say it twice"she said
I just smiled.
"Don't let those boys get you down. You love them but
they don't see. Give them time. Give yourself time.
You are fighting yourself."she said while looking me
in the eye. How did she know?
I tried to ask her but she just said: Yes I know,
honey, I was just like you when I was 17. I found my
perfect match after all." she smiled pointing at her
husband:"You will do too, don't rush it."
I looked at Christian. He had tears in his eyes. I
wish I could hold him now. Tell him I wasn't rushing
anything. Tell him in these 2 days he was the one who
made me the most happiest person in the world. He
turned his head away and stared at the floor.
"Take care dear. Be happy"the lady said while she and
her husband stepped out.
"I will" I said.
