Chapter Twelve
I didn't dare to say anything. I was scared of what he
would say. When we stepped out I just said it:
"Christian I'm sorry"
He turned around: "No, you aren't. you are just 17.
You don't know anything. Just like you did with that
guy you will do the same to me. Tell me things, me
opening up to you. At the end I get hurt and you too.
I'm 27, I don't need those games anymore." he said,
"maybe it was wrong of us starting all this. The lady
was right, don't rush anything, you should enjoy your
life be 17."
He turned around and walked to his room.
"What?" I screamed "I don't want to stop all this. You
can't tell me to just turn around and be 17. I am 17
and I want to be with you. If I'm rushing it so what,
we should enjoy our lifes and you are not gonna tell
me you weren't enjoying these 2 days. I think that I
know very well when something is right or not. You are
the first person I like that soon since my...." my
voice trembled "since my dad died. The only thing I
have felt these last years was pain. But you gave me
another feeling. you showed me to be happy."
I turned around and started to cry. I turned around
again and said: "I met Josh in Cyprus. He was sweet
but I never saw more in him than a friend. I never
even kissed him so don't feel jealous or whatever you
feel."
He looked at me and walked towards me.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know. I thought you were just
playing with me" he said.
He held me in his arms. The tears ran down my face.
"I won't hurt you. I promise" he whisperd and kissed
my hair. We stood there for a wihl 'till I pulled
away. I looked in his eyes: "Cyprus was paradise, but
you make it." and I kissed him.
I smiled at him and he got a little confused.
"what?" he asked.
"nothing"
"then why are you laughing?"
"With your face!" I laughed.
"my face? what's so funny?"
"well, you always make these funny faces!"
"oh, thanx, you're laughing at me!"
"No I'm not, I just found it funny"
He gave me another look.
"Now you are doing it again" I smiled
"what?"
"nevermind!" I said while I rolled my eyes.
He smiled: "You know? I feel like I'm 17 again. I act
like it. Someone of my age wouldn't be doing this.
they would find it childish and stupid. I nver thought
I would do it either. It's strange how everything
happens."
I looked at him and said: "you are right. maybe we
should get to know eachother better be4 we start all
this. you never know we find out something bout
eachother that we don't like we both might get hurt."
"Yeah, we should take it slowly. This all happend so
fast it scared me." he said.
"Me too. I'm glad you said this 'cause I was scared
too." I smiled .
"Hey, bout me joining you on tour. I do get another
room do I? I don't think the same room is a good idea.
It's all too soon."
"Yeah sure, but you are coming right?" he asked.
"If my mom says it's ok. Oh shit, my mom! she won't
let me go!" I said totally freaking out.
"Well, we'll make this contest up. which you and the
others won." he smiled.
"Yeah, that's great. you are a genius!" I smiled.
"I know, I know" he bragged.
"Oh yeah sure!"I smile "Do you actually realise we are
still standing in the hall?"
He looked around: "Yeah, now that you say so!"
"Christian, let's go to my hotelroom. we can talk
there without being interrupted by the others." I
said.
He smiled and took my hand.
