Nick woke up. It was a dream. A very good one at that. Becca still lay next to him. He looked at her and then slowly got out of bed and went downstairs. It was their first night in their new house. He decided to make her breakfast in bed. He made her some waffles and poured a glass of milk for her. He walked slowly up the stairs.

“Good morning my little Bear”

“Morning to you too. Ooh breakfast in bed.” She leaned over to smell it. “Smells good. Oh shit!” She ran to the bathroom and threw up.

“Lord Becca I didn’t know my cooking was that bad” He carried her to the bed and laid her down. “Honey are you okay?”

“No Nick” she cried. “I’m pregnant Nick”

“Really?” His eyes lit up.

“Yes, you aren’t mad?”

“No I’m soo happy!” He picked her up and spun her around. “I’m gonna be a daddy” he chanted.

“And I’m gonna be sick” she ran to the bathroom.

“How long have you know Becca?”

“A month. I was just very scared.”

“It’s okay baby, I’m not mad. But you know what, we have to tell mom”

“I know, let’s go do it now” They both ran down stairs.

“Mom we have a surprise for you” Nick teased.

“We have a baby on the way” Becca said. He leaned over and kissed her. He ran his hands down her tummy.

“It’s our little bundle of joy”
