“It’s Nick. Is Becca there?”
“Oh yeah” She covered the phone with her hand. ”Becca!” She yelled
“YEAH” Becca yelled equally as loud.
“PHONE!”

“Next time tell Mel to yell away from the phone.”
“Oh” She laughed “I will”
“You, me, dinner and a movie at about 5ish”
“How romantic! Of course babes just come pick me up cos I hate driving”

“Bye Nick see ya later”

“Who was it?” Nicki asked slyly.
“Nick” she smiled

“Yep”
“Go get ready!”

“The phone again!” Mel whined. “Hello”
“Bre please” Brian asked in a duck voice.

“They have this fair at the stadium. Wanna go?”
“Yeah. Nick asked Becca out did ya know?”
“So that’s why he’s shaving” They busted out laughing.
“You just come with Nick. We can take my car.”

“ Becca, Nick’s here!” Nicki yelled.
“Coming. Hey Nick”
“Hey ya ready?”
“Does it look like it?” Becca had a short white skirt and pink sweater.
“I guess so” Becca grabbed onto his hand and they left.
“You ready Bre?”
“Yeah”
“Well since they’re leaving I will too. I’m off to the bookstore”
The phone rang again. “Hello” Kelly answered it.
“Hey Kel. Can I talk to Mel?”
“Sure” She handed the phone over.
“Wuz going on girl?”
“Nuttin. You?”
“Nuttin”
“Ya wanna come chill at our place. Me and Kel are the only ones here.”
“Ya. Be there in a bit. But wait Kevin wants to talk to Kelly”
“Okay” She passed the phone to Kelly “Kevin” she mouthed.
“Hey. Hold a sec I want some privacy. Okay”
“You wanna go out sometime?”
“Um Kevin I don’t know. It’s not you it’s me…”
“It’s okay really”
“Maybe another time”
“Yeah” She hung up the phone and started crying. Why?

Nicki browsed the romance section as usual I don’t have a love life she laughed. She picked up a book and began to flip threw it. She ran right into someone. “Oh I’m sorry…AJ?”
“Hey Nicki. What’cha doing”
“Exploring my lack of a love life through others” AJ laughed.
“AWWW!”
“Shush! You wanna go get some dinner?”
“Sure. McDonalds” AJ asked playfully.
“I guess” she sighed.

“So Nick what movie are we gonna see?”
“Whatever you want” he kissed her.
“Mmmm. I like that idea”
“They are all sold out Becca” Nick sighed disappointedly.
“So let’s go to the beach”
“Okay” he perked up.
When they got there they sat in a secluded spot. Becca was on Nick’s lap.
“It’s pretty out here Nicky”
“I know..wait did you call me Nicky?”
“Yeah”
“Usually I hate that but because it’s you it’s okay”
“Got it”
“Becca I know it’s only been two days but I feel so close to you. Would you be my girlfriend?”
She didn’t answer. Becca was playing him. He looked down at his hands. ”Of course. Gotcha!”
“You!” He picked her up and tickled her. They were looking straight into each other’s eyes. He leaned down and place his lips on hers. His tongue slowly parted her lips.
“Let’s get home” Nick put Becca down and held onto her hand.

“Yeah” He paid for three ball. He missed the first one, then the second, he made the third.
“Pick a prize for the lady” the vendor said.
“The leopard please” (Kentucky manners!!!)

"Where is everyone? It's late" Kelly complained for the millionth time that night.
"K, calm down it's okay" Mel joked.
Becca, Nick, Bre, Brian, Nicki,and AJ walked in."Finally!"
"Whoa Kel relax" Becca laughed.
"You guys I'm in a play tommorow and I want you to come" Mel said.
"Fine" Howie replied.
"It's at 6. So well meet there. K?"

Everyone exchanged their goodbyes and the girls ran upstairs for their famous 'Girl Talks'.
