"No.. more....dancing" Nick panted as he fell to the floor.
"Aww stop complaining Carter" I yelled over my shoulder.
"How can you keep dancing after doing that for 2 hours?"
"How can you sing for 2 hours straight?"
"Good point" I wiped the sweat off my forehead and sat down next to Nick. "I heard about the room screw up with you and AJ. Anything happen?" He asked slyly.
"Nope" I sighed.
"Sounds like you want something more"
"Yeah" I paused. "But it would never happen"
"You don't know that. But let him have some space for a while. He's still healing after Amanda."
"Who?"
"His ex-girlfriend. They broke up on really bad terms"
"Oh.. What about you? You got a special lady?"
"Yeah. But I don't know how things are going. We hardly ever see each other anymore."
"Do you have any feelings for..."
"Nicole"
"Nicole? Is this relationship worth saving? That's what you need to ask yourself"
"I know I like her A LOT. She amazing but well I dunno"
"Call her and tell her. She's probably thinking the same thing about you"
"You know what? You're right. I'm gonna go call her now. Later Stace"
"Bye Nick" He ran off leaving me alone to think. Was this 'thing' for AJ a crush or something much more? If we were really gonna be together it would happen. Fate right?
"Stace?"
"Oh hey AJ"
"Thinking?"
"Yeah"
"I have a question for you"
"Shoot"
"Would you like to go out sometime?"
"Um yeah sure. Just tell me when and where"
"Tonight 7pm, lobby. It'll be a surprise"
"Okay. Tonight then."
"Tonight" He smiled back at me as he stepped off stage. It really happened. OMFG! Gotta control myself.
"Well I talked to Nicole. You were right Stace"
"He asked me out"
"AJ?"
"Yep"
"Well no kidding. Damn, he gets over his heartbreak fast"
"Yeah well..."
"About my life now."
"Yes Mr. Backstreet Boy" He shook his head at me and continued.
"Nicole's coming out in a few days. I'm a little bit nervous about it"
"Just relax"
"Just relax" he mocked me.
"You are so mature Nick"
"Blah blah blah"
"I'm leaving" As I walked away I gave him a well deserved smack on the head. I was on cloud 9. Nothing could top this. Nothing.
