"Black-Dove January"
Chapter 12

Kevin watched Raegan sleeping peacefully. She looked like an angel. As
he thought back he almost couldn't believe what they had done a few hours
ago. He had never done anything that felt so right (and so good, hehe) in his
life.
He was stirred from his thoughts as Raegan slowly opened her eyes and
smiled up at him. "Watching me sleep?", she questioned. He nodded. "You look
so peaceful and beautiful." "And I don't look beautiful when I'm awake?",
she teased, faking hurt. "No. You don't", he replied. She gave him a confused
look that was quickly erased when he spoke next. "You don't look beautiful when
you're awake....you look VERY beautiful", he finished. She blushed and gave
a short laugh. "You don't think I would actually say you weren't beautiful, do
you?", he asked. "Well...I think you'd say a lot of things if you want what
you got a few hours ago again." Kevin's smile faded. "Raegan, it wasn't
about just what I wanted. I thought you wanted it too..you don't regret it.."
He was cut off by her lips on his. "I'm just joshin' ya, Kev", she
told him with a laugh. He smiled and rolled his eyes. "No more MTV and Jesse
Camp for you!" They both laughed until Raegan's look turned serious. "Kevin,
I mean it. I don't regret it, at all. What happened was so special. You were
so special, and loving. I could never regret it. It was what I wanted to
happen." "Good. I'm glad." He started placing kisses on her neck, down to her
shoulders, and Raegan moaned as what happened a few hours ago was repeated.
"Man, I can't believe it!", Nick groaned, setting his bag down on the
floor. "I know. Stupid Florida storms. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to
see my family", Brian said. Their flight to Kentucky had been delayed and
then postponed until tomorrow morning due to severe thunderstorms in their area
that showed no sign of letting up. "I guess I'll call Howie and AJ and see
if they wanna come over for a movie or something", Nick told him, going into
the kitchen to use the phone. Brian nodded and decided to go find Kevin to tell
him about the flight delay.
"Kevin?", Brian called. He'd been calling him for the past few
minutes but had gotten no answer. He stopped as he saw Kevin's bedroom door
closed. No wonder. He should've known Kevin would be sleeping. Laughing to
himself, he nudged the door open, figuring he'd give the almost impossible
task of waking Kevin up a try. But what he saw as he opened the door stopped
him dead in his tracks. He blinked several times and rubbed his eyes, hoping
that he was seeing things. But when he opened his eyes again, Kevin and
Raegan were still in the same bed together, arms wrapped around each other, with no
clothes on.
Brian walked up to Nick, AJ and Howie, who were now settled on and
around the couch, preparing to watch a movie. "Where are Kevin and Raegan?", Nick
asked. "Upstairs", Brian answered slowly. "We bought 'Fallen' off of
Pay-Per-View. They gonna come down and watch it?" "I don't think so. They're
asleep", Brian told them. "Oh well. Their loss", Howie said, focusing his attention
on the movie which was just starting. "No....that's not all. They're
sleeping...together...with no clothes on", Brian managed to say. He was
still so stunned. "WHAT?!!?", all the guys shouted at once. "Tell me you're
joking, Bri", Howie said, getting up from the couch and walking over to him. "I wish
I could say I was but I'm not." "What the fuck does Kevin think he's
doing?!!?", AJ yelled, starting up the stairs. Howie grabbed him by the shirt collar.
"Bone, man, don't. Just leave it be for now. Let them explain when they wake
up. We have to be calm. I mean, she IS of legal age", he rationalized. "Yo,
whatever man. It's not really my business anyways." AJ calmed down and sat
back down on the couch.
