Nick didn't even remember the car ride. Hell he didn't even remember running up to the house, all he knew is that when he thought about what he was doing, there were steps beneath his feet. The steps to the second floor of the house he and Kevin shared. His only mission was to get to Kevin as fast as possible and not let him go for a long, long time.

Little did he know he'd already breezed past him. In his rush, he'd flown right by the living room and hadn't noticed Brian sitting there, looking towards his cousin laying on the couch.

He grinned at Kevin, "He should be hitting the bedroom right about….now."

Sure enough, the sound of the bedroom door practically bouncing out of it's hinges was heard and a moment of silence before the sound of Nick running down the stairs sounding like some sort of hyperactive jackhammer was heard. He ran right past the living room again on his way to the kitchen, figuring that maybe Brian and Kevin were having breakfast.

It was empty. The coffee pot was on and it was still hot, so they had been there recently. He stayed still and listened closely. There was only silence in the house. Nick closed his eyes and with a sigh, his shoulders slumped. There was no one home.

He barely lifted his feet from the ground as he shuffled out of the kitchen and down the hallway. He figured he'd sit on the couch and wait for them to come back, whenever that would be.

Both Brian and Kevin heard the slow shuffle of Nick's feet as he made his way down the hall towards them. Brian was about to call out to Nick when Kevin put a finger to his lips. He knew that this would be his next stop, expecting him to head for the couch so he could pout until someone found him. Brian nodded and picked up a magazine from the table and started to read it as Kevin closed his eyes and pretended to be asleep, trying not to smile.

Nick turned the corner into the living room and stopped dead when he saw Brian there, flipping through a magazine while he sipped on his coffee.

He looked up when he felt Nick staring at him and had to take another sip of his coffee to stop from smirking, "Good morning, Nick."

Nick just stared at him with his mouth open, "Uhm…yeah…Hi." He looked towards the stairway and then towards the kitchen. "Did you not see me come in?"

Brian took another sip of his coffee and casually turned the page of the magazine, "Well, you looked like you were on a mission, so I figured it was important and didn't want to bother you."

Nick started to walk towards Brian, not sure whether to hug him or strangle him at this point. "Where is…."

The words died on his lips as he came around the corner of the couch and saw Kevin lying there, fast asleep. Nick forgot all about Brian as he just stood there looking at the sight in front of him. The sunlight was shining softly on him, the patterns undulating across the length of him as the sun rose higher and reflected off of the ocean into the room. Nick couldn't even breathe it was so beautiful.

Brian quietly closed the magazine that he was reading and watched the emotions on Nick's face as he watched Kevin. A little piece of his heart broke for his cousin and best friend. The look on Nick's face showed how long the week had been on him and how much he had missed Kevin. It was the same look he had been seeing on Kevin's face all week. He smiled as he rose from his chair and took his coffee cup and walked silently to the kitchen, knowing that what was about to happen should not have a third person in the room.

Nick's hand reached out tentatively for Kevin's forehead, his fingertips sliding over the smooth brow and as his fingers slid towards his temple. He lifted his hand and replaced it on the Kevin's sun-warmed skin, the backs of two of his fingers sliding over his cheek and across the sharp angle of his jaw line.

He started to fall to his knees beside the couch when all of a sudden he was grabbed and pulled forward, only able to give a startled yelp before his lips were pressed against Kevin's and fingers were tangled in his hair. An arm wrapped around his waist, pulling him onto the couch and he was powerless to refuse it.

He wasn't sure how he ended up on the couch, his body pressed against Kevin's and his mouth engaged with Kevin's and having the utter hell kissed out of him, but he liked it. And sometimes it was better not to question these things, just to hang on and enjoy the ride.

Kevin hung on to Nick tightly and tangled his fingers more tightly in the short blonde hair, deepening the kiss and wringing a moan from Nick

Kevin let him pull away when his lungs had begun to burn from lack of air and raised his hand to brush his fingertips across Nick's reddened lips. He could feel the puffs of hot air cross them as Nick looked down at him in Shock. Kevin's eyes shone as he smiled, "Welcome home, Love."

Nick's smile practically lit up the room, "So glad to be back. You would not believe how much I missed you, missed kissing you."

Kevin grinned, "Oh, I think I have some idea."

Nick colored in his cheeks and shot Kevin a sheepish smile, "Yeah, I guess you would, huh?" Unless you were practicing the grand Kentucky tradition of sucking face with your cousin."

Kevin made a face, "Ok, number one. Ewwww! Number two, Bleeeeck!" He made a face like someone had made him eat one of Howie's seat socks. "And number three, do you want to end up on the floor?"

Nick smirked and leaned down to bury his face in the crook of Kevin's neck, "That depends. Am I going down there the painful way, or are you coming down there with me?"

Kevin bit his lip and closed his eyes in pleasure as Nick kissed and gently nipped his way around his Adam's apple, "Oooh. I think if you keep doing that, I'll pretty much do whatever you want, wherever you want to do it."

Nick smiled against Kevin's skin and kissed lower until he could circle his tongue around the notch at the bottom of his throat and dip it inside like a cat taking milk from a saucer. "Anything?"

"Jesus……" Kevin tangled his fingers in Nick's hair more tightly and gasped as Nick's tongue dragged wetly over his collarbone. "Mmmm….anything. Anything my baby wants, my baby gets."

"More kissing. Less Talking."

Kevin laughed softly, "My pleasure." He gently nudged Nick upwards and their lips met in a long, slow kiss. As far as he was concerned, there were no other plans for either of them that day than what they were doing that very minute.

* Ahem *

Nick pulled away and realized that Brian was still in the house. He looked over towards the chair he was in before and didn't see anyone there. He put a finger to Kevin's lips and shivered when Kevin slid it inside his mouth and started sucking softly on it. With a smile, Nick sat up, straddling Kevin's waist. From this position he could see Brian standing in the doorway with his bag in his hand. "I just wanted to tell you that I'm going before I hear noises that may scar me for life."

Nick blushed and chuckled, "Good idea, Bri." He tried to get up off the couch, but Kevin just held on to him tight and refused to let him move, "Want me to walk you out?"

Brian shook his head with a laugh, "I doubt that Kev is going to let you off that couch any time soon. I know the way out. I'm glad you're back here, Nick.

Nick glanced down at Kevin still sucking on his finger, "I am too." He looked back at Brian, "Thanks, man. I don't know what I would have done without you this week. I owe you one." Nick tried not to squirm at Kevin's hand wandering up his thigh, tracing some looping design.

Brian grinned and shook his head, "Nah. It was nothing. It gave us some good cousin bonding time. Besides, I'll be expecting you to be my ride to the hospital with Leigh when the first little Littrell make his appearance since I hear it's hell driving in high heels."

Nick laughed and swatted Kevin's hand off his thigh, trying to concentrate on Brian. "Deal. I'll even grab a pair of your shoes next time I'm over there and keep them in the back seat just so we'll have them for you to change into." His stomach jumped as Kevin slid his fingers across it and started to make paths below the waistband of his jeans.

Brian stuck his tongue out and looked at Nick strangely when he jumped and shot the couch a look and his hand made smacking contact with something. "How about we wait until Leigh and I are married and the baby's percolating ok?"

Nick smacked away the wandering fingers and shot him a look, getting a pout from Kevin in return. "I'm sure Leigh is waiting for you right now to get in some practice time." He bit his lip as Kevin's hips rubbed against his and nearly drove him out of his mind with the shocks of pleasure that shot through him.

Brian shook his head and rolled his eyes, "Well if she's as impatient as Kevin, I may not even clear the door."

A snort was heard and a finger was lifted above the back of the couch and was held here for a second before lowering again. The next second two hands grabbed the front of Nick's shirt and yanked him back out of view, surprising a yelp out of him.

With a laugh, Brian shook his head at their antics and saw a hand come up over the couch and wave at him. Nick's hand. "Bye Bri. I'll call you." Then a low moan bounced off the fireplace and back at him, "OOOohhh. I don't know what you just did….but do it again!"

Brian shook his head again and left the house as quietly as he could. "Yep, definitely didn't need to hear that." He pulled out his cell phone and hit the auto-dial button. "Hey Leigh. I just needed to hear your voice….I think I may need to burn my ears……yeah, some things you just don't want to hear and your cousin and best friend making out is one of them…."
