Odium-Jealousy

Jealousy's reared its ugly head,
harsh words that wish to be said.
Everytime I try to push it aside,
it just runs away and hides
in that secret place within the mind.
Where anger's brothers all reside
in silent waiting to grow again-
beasts waiting to escape their pen.
To pieces the illusion shatters,
the foul thing now left in tatters.
Replaced by something that may be worse-
odius monster is now nursed.
Seeing what I once had craved,
though bitter, to me it gave
realization, what was almost done,
for a fight I could never have won.
Consequences wait, situation dire,
to chase that which I don't desire.
Justified though it now seems,
something still does bother me.
The beast moves to that same hidden place,
is it changed behind the face?
For though it all seems something new,
do we really want to know false from true?
