Two Moons-Where do I belong?
Date: 02/02/01
I'd look to the sky in my new home
and swear to myself I saw a new moon.
It's like two different worlds,
and a whole new lifestyle unfurled.
An old beginning for a new end,
I start the process over again.
And I look to the sky once more,
find myself between two lives, torn.
Now two have melded into one,
I've finally changed, it's finally done.
Love to pretend that this is the end,
now there's no hope for me to transcend
this endless struggle for reality.
Succumb to the truth of my duality.
On the empty sky I pray for a new moon,
and hope I'll find my true home soon.
