What do I do when nothing works?
When life no longer offers many perks?
That's easy I turned to you.
Whenever I thought I was through,
you were right beside me.
You never let me flee.
No matter the cost,
hope you never lost.
But now you are gone,
your presence withdrawn.
What should i do?
I must start anew.
A new life all alone,
into the unknown.
Without the consolation
of my foundation,

or can I go on
without you to rely upon?

and not be prone,
to life in an abyss,
and not be led amiss?

for the path has been lit
by your grace and dedication.
Indeed it's my salvation.
It has been a long road,
but courage u have bestowed
to help me through the strife
that threatened to cut me like a knife.
You aren't with me in person,
but my condition will not worsen,
because whenever I begin to despair,
I know you will always be there.
