"That was a great movie!  I never laughed so hard in my life!"  exclaimed Nick.  They had just come home from the movie 'Scary Movie'  and were hyper as ever.

"I liked that part when the lady and the bad guy were fighting 'Matrix' style!"  laughed Kari.

"I just wish those girls would have left us alone.  Don't they know it's rude to bug people in the middle of a movie?"  whinned Brian.

"Well, thats one thing we're just going to have to live with right now."  said Kevin.  Brian threw some extra popcorn at him.  This started a major food fight.  There was popcorn flying everywhere.  A piece got caught in A.j.'s sunglasses.  He plucked it out and threw it at Howie.  Brian grabbed Kari by the waist and knocked her down to the ground.

"Cheater!"  she yelled.  She put the empty popcorn bag over his head and shoved him backwards.

"Hey!  And you call that a fair move?"  he laughed from under the bag.  Everyone just laughed.  None of them could remember when they did something like this before.  It was good to have a little fun.

"Now, whos going to clean up this mess?" asked Howie.  He was always the one to keep things clean.  The guys took a look around.  Everything covered in popcorn.

"I guess we better clean this up before we head out huh?"  laughed Nick.  He flicked away a piece that was caught in his hair.

"Yep."  answered Kevin.  They all began to pick up the war pieces.  As Brian was picking up around the table, he spotted something in the mess.  It was a round amulet.  He picked it up and turned around.

"Hey, did any of you guys lose your amulet?"  he asked.  All of the guys shook their heads.  Then they all turned to Kari.  She lowered her head.

"I had it in my pocket."  she squeck.

"Kari, how could you do that?  We told you not to do that!  What would happen if you lost this in the theater and some else picked it up?"  scoaled Kevin.  He had told her not to bring it with her everywhere.

"I know, I know.  It's just that, when I have it with me I feel safer than without it.  I'm really sorry."  she whispered.  Kevin's face softened up a bit.

"Alright, I believe you.  Just don't do it again, o.k.?" he asked.

"O.k."  she answered.  He handed it back to her and she went off to her bunk.  He turned around to find the guys staring at him.

"What?  Did I grow a third eye or something?"  he asked.

"No.  Why were you so harsh on her?  You know shes feeling weird after what happened to her."  said A.j..

"I know, I went a little psyhco on her, but she knows better."  he answered.

"Just, go a little easier on her next time O.k.?" said Howie.

"You have my word."  smiled Kevin.

"Come on guys, we have a show in 4 days at New Orlean's.  That gives us a little down time.  So lets us some of that time to get some sleep."  Brian started to his bunk.

"Good-night Kari!"  yelled Nick.

"Right back at you!"  she answered.  In a few minutes the bus was silent.

Sinissta's ship, 021 hours.

Unknown to members of the BSB, the evil queen Sinissta had bugged their bus with a tiny video camera.  Their sworn enemy and the ruler of a distent planet.

"Honored queen.  The enemy has gone to their resting chambers."  said one of the henchman.

"Wonderful.  That gives us plenty of time to exacute the plan.  It all seems so simple."  Laughed the queen.

"Honored queen, my I be allowed to asked thee of a question?"  asked the servent.

"Yes you may."  she frowned.

"Not to offened you O powerful queen, but I thought Leuteint Ziden was in charge of this project." he said in a serious tone.

"Yes he was, but he is now on a permanent leave.  You are now in charge.  Understood?"  she giggled.

"Yes my queen." he answered.

"You have always been obedient to my orders, Captian.  You must not let me down.  Or you will end up like Ziden!"  she shouted.

"Understood my queen." he answered.

"Now go.  Alert you league of the plan."  she ordered.  He immdeatly left the room.  The queen sat back in her throne, smiling to herself.

"At 01000 hours, the plan will begin.  I will infiltrat the enemies motor vehicule.  Once there, I will plant the five orbes to begin the weakening process.  That girl will wish she never zapped me with her laser vistion when i'm through with them!"  She laughed as she gazed at the image of Kari, sleeping, inside the orbe.  She had no idea of what was going to happen.

"Sleep tight little Kari.  I have big plans for you, yes indeed!"  the queen laughed even harder.

BSB tour bus, 0800 hours

The alarm clock went off in Brian's bunk.  He clicked it off and went to wake everyone up.

"Everybody up.  Time to get our butts into gear!"  he yelled through the bus.  Kevins head poked out from his bunks curtains.  He was always the easiest to wake.  They heard a thud so they knew that Kari was up.  Howie was always the last one.

"Why do we have to wake up so early?"  he whinned.  He never liked getting up early.

"Because, thats the time we all agreed on.  Now come on!" said Kari.  They all got dress and ate breakfast.  The only highlight of the morning was when Howie fell asleep in his cereal bowl.  He looked very funny with half of his face covered in frosted flakes.

"Why didn't you wake me up?"  he asked, still covered in cereal.

"You looked so peaceful sitting there that we didn't want to bother you."  smiled Nick.  Howie slapped him across the arm, and went to wash up.

"Wait Howie!  Let me go get the camera!" A.j. ran to his bunk and grabbed his camera.  Brian and Kevin held him there while he took the picture.

"This is going to be a great magazine picture!"  he laughed.  After breakfast, all but Kevin and Kari went for a walk.  He called her into the back.

"Listen, i'm really sorry for yelling at you last night.  I kind of lost it there."  he said in a caring voice.  Kari just smiled at him.

"That's alright.  I shouldn't have done that anyway.  You were right about losing it in the theater.  Truce?"  she answered.

"Truce."

There was a knock at the door.

"Dang it A.j.!  Do you always have to lose the key?"  he grumbled as he went to answer the door.  To his surprise, there was a young woman standing there.  She smiled at him.

"Uh...can I help you?"  he sputtered out.

"Sorry for bothering you but do you happen to have a phone book I could borrow?"  she asked in a sickeningly sweet voice.

"Oh, yes we do.  Give us a minute and we'll go find it for you.  Come on in."  The girl came in and Kevin shut the door.  Kari was watching from the hall.

"Have a seat.  It shouldn't take to long."  She sat down next to the table. ""Your very kind." she said.  Kevin grabbed Kari by the arm.

"Would you help me look?" he asked.

"Fine." she sighed.  Something about that lady seemed strange to her.  Something about didn't seem quite right.  She didn't think Kevin felt the same way, but she helped him anyways.

"I found it!"  yelled Kari.  Kevin grabbed it from her and brought it to the front.

"Here you go miss."  he handed it to her.

"Oh, thank you. You've been a lot of help.  I best be going now."  she headed for the door.  Kevin opened it for her and she walked away.  He came back with a smile on his face.

"She was beautiful!"  he laughed.  He saw that Kari was giving him strange looks and stopped.

"What are you looking at?" he said in a joking voice.

"Nothing.  It's just that, that girl that came in.  Didn't something seem not right about her?"  she asked.

"What about her?  All she wanted was a phone book." he answered.

"Yeah, I guess your right."  The front door opened to the bus.  The rest of the guys were back from their walk.

"Hey, who was that girl we saw walking out of here?" asked A.j..  He was always interested when there was a woman involved.

"She was just here to borrow a phone book.  No big deal."  explained Kevin.

"You should have told her to stay.  She was hot!"  he laughed.  Kari smacked him in the arm.

"Men." giggled Kari.  All of the guys grabbed a couch pillow and attacked her with it. Brian then looked up at the wall clock.

"Oh man!  It's already 11:00?  Lets get going and see some sites!"  he said.  They all got up and grabbed different travel bags with cameras and hats.  They walked out of the door and locked the bus.  If only they knew how bad the next few days were going to be. And how much their amulets would come in handy.

Sinissta's ship 01900 hours
"Is the deed done my queen?"  asked the servent when Sinissta returned.

"Yes it is.  No you must take over and make sure it happens.  I have planted the chips into five of the six resting chambers.  Keep a watch on them!"  she ordered.

"Yes my queen."  he answered.  He hesitated.  "What exactly do the chips do?"  She looked at him with evil eyes.

"You stupid boy!  How dare you question me without my promission!  What do you have to say for yourself?"  She yelled.  She regained her normal form.  "Humans, who knows how they can stand wearing slave clothing."  she muttered.

"My queen, my I ask thee of a question?"  He asked, his voice shaking with fear.  The queen rolled her eyes.

"You may."  she said.

"The chips you planted, are they laced with poison or a magic powder of some sort?" he asked still in fear for his life.

"Why your smarter than you look.  My slaves laced them with a powder.  Each chip has a different one that will weaken the enemy."  she laughed.

"Brillant plan my queen."  he said.

"And if you screw it up Captian, you will be no more."  she said in an evil voice.  "NOW GO!"  The servent ran from the room.  The doors shut behind him.  The queen sat down in her throne while other of her slaves served her.

"Pretty soon they will get the chips onto their horrible human bodies.  Then the fun will begin."  She laughed.  Her servents laughed with her.  The looking orbe appeared in front of her.  She saw that the humans were now returning home to the bus.  It was 02000 hours at the time.

BSB Tour bus 02200 hours

"What a day!  The sites were wonderful.  To bad we forgot that we hade a photo shoot at three."  said Kevin.  They had been home for about two hours.  Nick and A.j. were in their bunks reading and the others were sitting around talking.

"Good thing we don't have to wake up early tomorrow."  said Howie.

"Well, tomorrow we're going to get an actual hotel room."  said Kevin.

"You know, I've been thinking of that person that stopped by today.  I know all she wanted was a phone book but didn't she seem the least bit familar to you?"  she asked in a serious tone.

"Give it a rest Kari!  She probably looks familar because she might have gone to one of our concerts."  said Brian.

"Fine.  Lets all calm down with a nice game on the playstation.  Hey Nick!  Do you mind?"  asked Howie.

"Not at all.  Let me get it set up for you guys.  I play winner."he answered.  They heard him jump down from his bunk.  He appeared a minute later and begin to fiddle with the plug.  Yet, something was different about him.  His jeans were a little baggyer then an hour ago.

"Nick, can you stand up for a second?"  asked Kari.  He stood up.  Now she knew something was wrong.  He was always the same height as Kevin.  Now he was almost at Brian's height.

"Whoa, did you shrink or something?"she yelled.  He looked down at himself.  Then he looked back at them.

"What the?  Did someone do something?"  He began to hit his heel against the floor to see if there was a dip or something.

"Hey, whats with all the nosie?"  A.j. said as he walked in back.  He looked different to.  All of his tattooes looked very faded and his hair was lighter.

"Forget the playstation.  Lets all get some sleep being that we're now seeing things."  said Brian.  He walked to his bunk and Kari followed him.  He helped her up to hers since she was pretty short and had the top bunk.  Then he crawled into his bed.  The day must have worn them out because he was out before his head hit the pillow.

The next morning, Kari was the first one up.  Since it was Saterday she went into the back to watch some cartoons.  The guys always poked fun of her for doing that, seeing that she was 14 years old.  As the next show came on, she heard a scream.

"Help!  Somebody help!  I can't see!"  yelled Howie from his bunk.  Kari ran to him and swung open the curtains.  He was sitting up in his bed trying to look around.  Kari fake punched him in the face to see if he would flinch like he always did.  He didn't.  She grabbed his chin and looked into his eyes.  His pupils were gone.

"Guys!  Get up!  Theres something wrong with Howie!"  she yelled.  She heard some movement from Nicks bunk.  Then a thud as he climbed out.  She turned around to face him.  When she did, she yelped in surprise.  It wasn't Nick standing there, but a 12 year old kid.

"Nick?"  she asked.

"Yeah?"  he covered his mouth.  His voice was now small and high.  He ran to mirror.  He could do nothing but stare.

"What's happening?  Is that Nick?  Kari, where are you?"  yelled Howie who was very scared.

"Everythings fine Howie.  Take my hand."  She said.  She grabbed his hands and he climbed out of bed.  She lead him to the kitchen area and sat him down.  He still couldn't see.

"Wait here.  If Nick and you are different, it might have happened to the others." she told him.  She ran into the bunk area and threw open the curtains to A.j.'s.   Sure enough, something had happened to him.  His hair was a grayish color and all of his tattooes were gone.  He looked as if he were 40 years old.

"A.j. wake up!  Somethings happened!"  she shook him hard.  His eyelids moved a bit and him eyes opened.  He sat up and rubbed his eyes.  He stopped and noticed that his tattoos were gone.

"What the...?"  he asked.

"Now time to explain.  Howie's blind and needs our help"  she said.  A.j. jumped out of bed and headed for the front.  He saw Nick and Howie sitting there and almost fell over.

"Nick?  What the heck happened?"  he finally said.

"Good question."  snapped Nick.  He always got mean when he was scared.  Kari looked at Howie.  She could tell he was trying to see but couldn't.  Then she noticed something on Howie's arm.

"Hang on Howie, you got something on your shirt."  she plucked it off and took a look at it.  It looked like a mini chip.  She immdeatly knew where it came from.

"Sinissta."  she said.  It was just a sense she had.

"What do you mean Sinissta?"  asked Nick.

"I mean she planted these things in our bunks.  They must have ben laced with something.  That explains why your like this." she explained.

"But how did she get them in here?  We were here almost all day.  And when we left, the bus was locked up tight."  wondered Howie.  She thought a little bit.

"The lady that borrowed something yesterday.  What if that wasn't an innocent lady at all?"  she said.  The guys all looked at each other.  She had been right all along.

"Guys?  Whats all the noise about?"  Kevin had woken up.  Before anyone could say anything, he came into the area.

"Whats going on?"  he looked at the guys, "What in the world happened to them?"  All of them looked down at his hands.  He looked down to see that there was nothing there.  He began to scream.

"My hands!  Where are my hands!"  he yelled.

"Calm down!  We have to figure out a way to change you guys back."  she said.  She turned around to find Brian standing there. He still looked normal.

"How about we all get dress and figure out something then.  It will give us time to calm down."  he said.  He walked back to his bunk.  A.j. and Nick followed him.  Kari guilded Howie to his bunk and picked out some cloths.  She lead him into the bathroom and closed the door.

"Hey, what happened to my clothes?"  said Nick.  Sure enough, they had also shrunk.  Kevin had the worst time getting dressed.  Seeing that he had no hands and all.  Brian seemed normal but something wasn't right.  He kept having to hike up his pants like they were to big around the waist.

"All right.  Lets get checked into the hotel and talk this over."  said Brian.  He left the bus to check all of us in.

"This is so not cool.  When this is over I better have every single tattoo I started with."  complained A.j.

"Stop whinning.  The room service guys are going to bring up over suitcases.  Nick, you, me and A.j. will handle the backpacks.  Kevin, keep your hands in your pockets at all times.  Howie, i'll lead you to the room." said Kari.  Just then, Brian came back.

"O.k. guys.  We're checked in."  he annouced.  He grabbed his bag and they began to walk back to the hotel.  Kari hung onto Howie's arm and she warned him of cracks.  They got into the hotel without any problems.  Until the clerk spoke up.

"Whos the little guy?"  she asked from the desk.

"He's my nephew."  said Howie without warning.

"Well, he looks a lot like Nick Carter.  Isn't that cute."  she said and left the desk into the back.

"Phew, that was close."  sighed Kevin.  They made it to the elevator and stepped in.  Brian hit the floor number and it began to move.  It let them off a minute later and they went to the rooms.

"Man, I never thought being blind would be such a challenge."  said Howie as he sat down in a chair.

"You think thats a challenge?  Try having no hands!"  said Kevin as he pulled them out of his pockets.

"Stop fighting!  Man, kids these days."  said A.j.. They all knew it was the old guy talking.

"Where's Brian?"  asked Nick.

"I think hes in his room."  answered Kari.  She began to feel kind of tired.  She looked at the clock and it read 11:30.

"Guys, i'm going to go take a nap for a while.  Call me if you need me."  she left the guys and entered her own room.  She collapes on the bed and was out like a light.

Hotel room 01300 hours
She awoke about an hour later.  she could hear the guys in the next room chating.  But one voice she couldn't hear was Brian's.  She got up and proceeded to his room.  She knocked on the door.

"It's open!"  said Brian from inside.

"Brian?  Why aren't you with the guys?  And why is this room so dark."  she went to flip the light switch.

"No!  Please don't!"  he said.  She saw that he ws sitting in a chair in the corner of the room.

"Whats wrong?"  she asked.

"I was effected.  What ever Sinissta did, she got me to."  he sighed.

"What Brian?  What did she do?"  She moved closer to where he was.  "Please Brian."  she begged.  There was silence.

"Turn on that light."  he pointed to one right next to her.  She went over and slowly turned it on.  It turned on the light right by him.  Kari gasped at what she saw.  He was nothing but skin and bones.  His arms and legs were like toothpicks.  His cheeks were dipped in very far.

"I told you it's bad."  he said.  He hung his head in shame.

"That it!  I have had enough of her!  We are going to go there and change all of you back!"  She went and dialed the number to the other guys room.

"Guys, we've got an emergency.  Bring the amulets and the portal thing."  she hung up.  A few minutes later there was a knock at the door.

"It's us, let us in."  said Nick.  Kari opened the door and let them in.  They all took one look at Brian and stopped.

"What?  What happened?"  asked Howie.

"We have to go to Sinissta's world and stop this."  said Kari.  She shut the door and went to sit by Brian.

"Who knows when this could get bad."  she said again.

"But, what about Howie?  He can't see remember?"  said Kevin.

"We'll have to leave him behind.  Brian would have to stay behind to.  He's to fraile to fight.  No offence."  said A.j.

"None taken."  answered Brian.

"So it's settled.  You two will stay here.  The rest of us will go and fight."  said Nick.  He handed them their amulets.  They put them on and pushed the button for the portal.

"So thats how you do it."  said Kari as it appeared in the floor.  Nick jumped into it and was gone.  A.j. and Kevin followed him.  Just as Kari was going to jump...

"Kari, wait!"  said Brian. "Be careful."

"I will."  she turned again and whispered under her breath, "I love you."  She jumped into the portal and was gone.

Sinissta's ship 01350 hours

"My queen, The enemie have invaded that ship!"  said a guard.

"Ah, they have come for the anidote.  Very nice."  she snickered.

"I would also like to aware you that two of the key fighters are not with them."  he reported.

"WHAT!?"  she yelled.  The guard stepped back.

"We are not sure at this time weather they are in the ship or not present at all."  he said.

"This maybe a good thing."  said the queen.  "With two of them gone, they will be weaker now.  Especially with the powered.  Can you tell me which ones guard?"

"The one you have stricken blind and the one that you made deathly thin."  he answered.

"Nice, very nice.  Let the enemy come to me.  Then when they are destoryed, go after the weak ones."  she ordered.

"Yes O poweful one."  he said.

"Go and reterive the Captain and bring him to me."  she ordered.

"Yes my queen."  he left the room.  Minutes later then Captain entered the room.

"Yes O one with such power?"  he asked.

"I want you to attack the girl with one of our robots.  Don't kill her, just make sure that one of our chips gets onto her.  Have it laced with the same stuff as the telepathic one."  she told him.

"May I ask thee of a question?"  he asked.

"Yes you may."  she answered.

"How will that effect her power?"  he asked.

"Why, simple.  Without eyesight she cannot shot lasers.  Plus she will be easier to catch later.  NO GO!"  yelled the queen.

"Yes my queen."  he left the room.  The plan was now in full swing.

Sinissta ship 1355 hours.

Kari landed next to the others.  She turned around to see the portal close up.  She turned back around to see Nick staring at her with his arms crossed.

"I saw that."  he said.

"What?"  she asked.

"You like him!"  he laughed.

"No I don't!  I just care about him o.k.?  They same way I care about you guys.  Now come on!"  she yelled.  Kevin lead the way with the others close behind.

"Do you think they know we're here?"  asked Nick.

"Most likey not."  said Kevin.  Just when he said that, they saw a giant robot coming right at them.

"Get the girl." It said as it barreled towards them.

"Not again!"  she cried.  A.j. and her began to shot at it was no results.  It just kept coming.

"RUN!"  yelled Kevin.  They all began to run as fast as they could.  Just when the thought they could make it, Kari tripped and fell.  The robot grabbed her and she shoot at it.  She struggled with all her might.  Kevin had started to punch holes into in it while Nick sliced it with his sword.  A few minutes later, the robot was in pieces and Kari was free.

"Whoa.  What do you think that was all about?"  asked Nick.

"I don't think we want to know."  siad A.j.  They began to walk again.  The hallway was growing dark so Kari turned her lights on.  Yet something was strange.  As the went on the light seemed to get dimer and dimer.

"Guys, I think there's somthing wrong with my powers."  she complained.

"What could be wrong?  Your light still works."  said Nick.

"But aren't they getting dim at all?" she asked them.  They all shook their heads.  That was their first sign there was a problem.  Yet they kind of brushed it off. They kept on walking.

"Guys?  My lights just went out.  Give me a minute." She suddenly said.

"They didn't go out, there still shining."  said Nick.

"Then why can't I see?"  Then it just clicked.  The same thing that had happened to Howie had happened to her.  She was now fully blind.  Nick went up and started to fake punch her in the face.  She didn't flinch.

"Who ever is doing that knock it off."  she said.  Nick backed off.

"What are we going to do?"  asked A.j..

"Well, looks like we're going to have to send her back with Brian and Howie."  said Nick.  He began to pull out the portal thing.  Kari hit his hand.

"No.  I'm staying here."  she said very sternly.

"But you can't help us.  Without sight, you can't shoot."  said Nick.

"I took a type of karate a few years ago.  I learned how to sense things without seeing them.  So i'm fine."  They guys all looked at each other.

"*sigh*  Alright.  Nick, you help her so she doesn't run into walls."  said Kevin.  They started towards the throne room, not knowing that the queen was expecting them.

"Wait!"  yelled Kari.  The all stopped and looked at her.  "Theres something nearby.  Something that can help us."  She went to the side.  They were on a bridge and she felt the thing was below her.

"I'm going down there."  she said.  She climbed on top of the rail and was ready to jump when A.j. grabbed her shoulder.

"Are you nuts?  What if theres something down there that you can't fight off?"  He asked.

"I can manage.  There is a different way down there for you guys.  I'll take the easy route."  she said.  She jumped from the rail and began to fall.  Her parawings opened up and she began to glide downward.  It was a lot harder now that she couldn't see but somehow she made it down.  The sense of whatever it was was now stronger than ever.

"Guys?"  she yelled out.  There was no answer.  They had not come yet.  She made her way to the energy source when a voice behind her made her stop.

"Welcome little one.  I see you have gotten my little gift.  I hope you're enjoying it!" It boom.  Kari knew exactly who it was.

"Hello Sinissta."  she said as sarcasticly as she could.

"Also I see that you have found what holds you lost strenghs."  said Sinissta.  Kari followed her voice as she moved.

"I call it a sixth sense"  said Kari.

"Not possible.  Your only power is through you eyes and that is now gone."  repiled Sinissta.

"I can feel where you are in this room.  I can feel the power of what is here.  I will destroy it and we will regain our power."  said Kari.  There were footsteps in the distence.  She could feel them getting closer until they were in the room.

"KARI!"  yelled Nick.  Sinissta turned around and waved her hand.   They all froze in what ever position they were in.  They were frozen solid.

"HA!  I guess your little plan failed you little one.  Your friends cannot help you now.  And when we are done with you, we will kill the ones you left behind."  laughed Sinissta.

"Don't you dare hurt Howie and Brian!"  yelled Kari.

"To late."  Sinissta struck out at Kari with force.  Kari doged the attack and ran near the doorway.  She felt herself bump into somebody.  She felt around and found Nick's sword.  She pulled it out and held it front of her.

"Foolish girl.  No sword is enough against the death queen!"  screamed Sinissta.  She struck again.  This time Kari blocked her with the sword.  She swiped it to the left and felt it hit flesh.  Sinissta screamed in pain.  It had cut her in the arm.  Kari made a run for the power source.  Sinissta grabbed her from behind.

"I don't think so missy!"  She rised her hand that were now claws above her head.  Just as she was going to kill the young girl, there was a flash of silver.  Sinissta screamed as she saw her hand go flying.  Kari ran to the power source and riaed the sword.

"NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!"  cried Sinissta as Kari brought it down and shattered the orbe.

Hotel room 1450 hours

"It's taking a long time.  Maybe we should go help them."  said Howie.  It didn't know what the actual time was but he knew it had been long.

"And risk getting killed before we can even fight?  No way."  said Brian.  He walked across the room, avoiding the mirror as much as he could.  He couldn't stand to look at himself.

"But what if their really in trouble? Or worst?"  said Howie.  He was always a worrywart.

"Relax.  I bet their just putting her away right now."  said Brian.  He knew that this might not be true.  He had heard what Kari said before she left.  He hoped that those weren't her last words.  Just as Brian made it back to his seat, the lights flickered.

"Oh man!  Now I have to deal with this?"  he grumbled.

"Deal with what?"  asked Howie.

"I think the lights are going out."  he answered.

"Hotels always have backup lights."  said Howie.  Just as he said that, the lights when out.

"Oh no!  Now I can't see!"  yelled Brian.

"Welcome to my world."  said Howie.  He always got grumpy when he didn't know what was going on.

"Shut up."  Brian began to make his way over to the light switch.  He felt kind of funny.  He couldn't really describe it.  He banged his toe on the way there but found the switch.  He hit it and light filled the room.

"OOOOOOWWWWWWWW!"  yelled Howie.

"What?"  asked Brian.

"I think somethings wrong.  A big flash of light just hit me."  said said holded his eyes.

"Howie.  I just turned on the lights."  Howie put his head up.  He found that he could see Brian and the whole room.

"Ha ha!  I can see!  I don't know why they made you stay back B-Rok.  You look as normal as you are to me."  said Howie.

"What are you talking about?"  asked Brian.  He went to the mirror and found that he was normal again.  No skeleton arms, no dipped in cheeks.  Just regular old Brian.

"They must have broken it."  said Howie.  Brian walked over to his bag and pulled out his amulet.

"I say we go and help them out."  he said.  Howie looked at him.  A smiled came to his face.

"I highly agree with you.  Suit up and lets go!"

Sinisst'a ship 1355 hours.

It all came back to them in a flash.  It hit Kari first and she could see again.  She turned around to face the guys who were still frozen.  Nick seemed to grow right in front of her eyes.  A.j.'s tattooes returned and his hair darkened.  Kevin's hands were back.  She turned back around to find Sinissta above her.

"You disgusting little human!  You have ruined the plan!  Now I shall take your life!"  she ran at her.  Kari tried to jump out of the way but Sinissta hit her straight on.  The force sent Kari flying into a wall.

"Now whos tough?"  asked Sinissta.  She began to charge again.  This time Kari shot  at her.  It hit Sinissta where her hand use to be.  She let out a horrible scream.

"Now you are going to pay!"  Sinissta stood there and began to summon up power.  Kari tried to run but it was no use.  Her feet wouldn't go.

"Any last words?"  Sinissta asked in a sly voice.

'I I I...."  she stammered.

"To late.  Good bye little one!"  Sinissta let the power go.  The energy surge came right for Kari.  She began to scream for help.  All of the sudden, someone grabbed her from the side.  Before she could see who it was, she was in the air.  She heard the energy surge hit the wall with a loud bang.  She could feel arms around her.  She looked up to see their face.

"Brian!?"  she yelled.  He looked down at her and smiled.  They landed with a soft thud.

"Are you o.k.?"  asked Brian.

"Yeah.  Look out!"  she yelled.  Sinissta was running at them.  Brian pushed Kari back a little bit.  She felt herself hit someone.  She turned around to see it was Howie.

"Come on.  We have to keep her away from the others.  She could break them or something."  he said.  As Brian was fending the queen off, Howie and Kari ran over to the guys.

"Nick!  Can you hear me?"  she asked him.  She felt very dumb for asking a frozen person that.  To her surprise, Nicks eyes moved and he was now looking at her.

"We're going to get you out of here, anyway we can."  said Howie.  They couldn't answer.  Kari touched A.j.'s arm.  She quiekly brought it back.  His arm was colder than anything.  Almost like..

"Howie!  I got an idea."  she called to him.  She began to use her lasers on A.j.'s arm.  His eyes turned to her and were wide as saucers.

"What are you doing?"  asked Howie.

"I touched his arm and it felt like ice.  Now heat melts ice."  she said.  Howie seemed to get the picture.  A.j.'s arm was almost done.  He began to move his fingers around.  She moved up by his face.

"Hurry up!  Brian can't hold her off much longer."  said Howie.  Kari turned up the heat a bit.

"Oh my god, thank you so much."  A.j. said as the ice was melted around his mouth.  Now that his arm was fully free, he began to pull himself out of the ice.  Kari moved onto Kevin.  He seemed to get the idea and didn't even look at her.  As she was finishing with his face, A.j. had climbed out to help Brian.  He was getting pretty weak.

"Kari, get my right arm out of here.  I can punch through the rest."  said Kevin as his mouth was uncovered.  She did as she was told and when his arm was done his strengh got him out.

"Howie go help Brian and A.j..  Kari, i'll get Nick out."  said Kevin.  Howie ran over to the fight.

"Thanks for helping.  I'm getting weak."  she said.  Kevin just smiled.  He grabbed Nicks frozen arms and pulled down.  The ice broke away and Nick could move.  Then Kevin pulled the ice away from his head.  Nick shook his head a let out a sigh of relief.  His eyes then widened.

"My sword!"  he yelled.  Kevin and Kari turned around.  Sinissta had grabbed Nicks sword from the ground and sliced Brians arm.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"  he screamed in pain.  He put his arm over the wound and stumbled back.

"No!"  yelled Kari.  She was now madder than ever.  She forgot about Nick and Kevin and ran towards them.

"No one but no one hurts my Brian!"  she screamed at her.  She let loose a powerful laser that hit Sinissta square in the chest.  Sinissta was launched into the wall.

"Brian!  Brian!"  yelled Nick.  Kevin had helped him out of the ice and they both ran to him.  He was losing blood and fast.  Kevin stood up and looked at Sinissta.  He went up and grabbed her.

"Look what you've done you little witch!"  he lifted her up.  She was trying to kick away from him but couldn't.  He threw her high into the air.  She never came back down.  He ran back to where Brian lay.  Kari was holding his arm, a hand over the wound.

"Man thats one deep cut."  said A.j..

"I've got an idea."  said Howie.  He whispered something into Kari's ear.  He sat back and nodded.  She turned to the others.

"Back up a bit."  she said.  They did, not knowing what she was going to do.  She turned back to Brian.

"Hang on Brian.  This may hurt a bit."  She began to use her lasers on the cut to close it.  Brian winced a bit but settled down.  He just watched her.

"There.  All done."  she finally said.  He looked down at the cut.  All there was was a pink line from where it had been.

"A life for a life.  My debt has been paid."  She said to him.  Kevin and Nick helped him up.

"Come on guys.  We did what we came for.  Now lets go home."  said Nick.

"Brian and I used the ship to get here.  We can us that."  said Howie.  He lead the way.  All of them followed close behind.  Yet no one noticed that the whole time, Brian kept his arm around Kari as if to protect her from harm.

BSB tour bus, the next day

"Man!  We wasted our whole vacation time due to that scum bag Sinissta!"  whinned Nick.

"I know.  Better luck next time."  said Kevin.  "Besides, I don't think we'll here from her for a long time."

"Why do you say that?"  asked Kari.

"Well, when I grabbed her after she had hurt Brian, I noticed that one of her hands were missing."  he explained.

"How the heck did that happen?"  asked A.j..  They heard a little giggle behind them and turned to face Kari.  She had a huge smile on her face.

"I guess i'm pretty good at useing a sword without any sight."  she laughed.

"You did that!?"  said Brian with amazement.

"Yep."  she answered.

"Cool."  he smiled.

"Hey guys!  I'm stopping at this park up ahead!  If you want to get out and walk around, you've got an hour to do it!"  said the bus driver.  They heard the wheels give a sqeck and the bus stopped.  Nick ran over to his bunk.

"Anyone for a little B-ball?"  he asked with a big smile on his face.

"Sure!"  said all of the guys at the same time.  They all started for the door.

"Hey B-Rok!  You coming?"  asked Nick.

"Yeah, give me a minute."  he said.  Nick left the bus.  Now it was only Kari and Brian.

"You know, I never got a chance to thank you yesterday.  You know, for saving my life."  he said to her.

"Well if it weren't for you, I wouldn't be here right now."  she said.

"So its an equal?" asked Brian.

"Yep.  I guess it is."  answered Kari.  They both started for the door.

"Another thing Kari, I heard what you said before you went through yesterday.  I kind of feel the same way about you."  he said.

"Really?"  she asked with a lot of hope.

"Yeah.  And you were ten years older, I would definatly be knocking on your door."  he laughed.  she just smiled at him.

"A girl can only hope."  She thought.  They both left the bus together.
