"Brian you shouldn't have come Nick will be home soon." Leigh said trying not to laugh.
"I just love your sense of humor." he said kissing her on the cheek.
She turned around to face him.
"You buy a new guitar?"
"Nah, there wasn't any I loved." he said laying back against the pillow.
"Why don't we do something tonight." Leigh said sitting up.
Nick smirked, "Like what?"
"Down boy. I meant like go out to eat or something, I am bored of doing the same thing every night. Eat, movies, games, blah, blah, blah." she said twisting a ring on her finger.
"Yeah, actually come here. I have a little surprise for you." he said getting up off the bed.
Leigh followed him into the office as he sat down behind his laptop computer. He began typing, and soon he was at a site with a big beautiful house on it, it was on the ocean.
"That's really nice. But, uh, why are we looking at it?" Leigh asked.
"Only because that's our new house."
"What?!" Leigh asked unbelievingly.
"I bought that house today. I wasn't going to buy a guitar. I have been talking to the real estate agent for weeks now." he said.
Leigh shrieked and jumped up and down.
She leaned down and kissed Nick ten times on the cheek.
"Oh, I love it so much! When do we get to move in?" she said with her heart beating fast, she was so excited.
"Tomorrow we can start, but we can go over there tonight, and bring sleeping bags and stuff. It would be nice." he said shutting off the laptop.
"Nick, I love you so much. I really don't deserve you." she said smiling.
"I know." he said jokingly, "Let's go grab the stuff for the house."
Within half an hour, they were in Nick's car and Leigh was bouncing her leg up and down.
"Calm down Leigh. Your gonna kick a hole through the floor."
"I know, I am just so excited." she said putting her hands on her knees.
They drove on a few more minutes, and Leigh looked around.
"Why does this look familiar?" she thought outloud.
"Oh I guess I forgot to mention, we are going to be living a few houses away from Brian and Anna." he said casually.
"Nick! Oh my god, this is so unbelieveable." she said kissing the side of his lips very quickly, since he was driving.
They got to the house and Leigh was moving non-stop while Nick fiddled with the key in the door. The opened the door to the huge house. Leigh went inside and looked around.
It was a gorgeous house. The entire house was carpeted, except for the bathrooms and the kitchen. Downstairs, there was a kitchen, game room and bathroom at the left side, a living room when you first walked in, and to your left, a study, office and stairs leading up. At the back of the living room was a porch, overlooking the pool and ocean. Leigh jogged up the stairs. There was a balcony at the far end, a bedroom, a bathroom, and another two bedrooms.
Leigh ran back downstairs and jumped into Nick's arms.
"Baby, I love it so much." she said planting a long kiss on his lips.
"I had a feeling you would." he said.
They went outside for awhile and talked about everything, the house, school, work, life. Then they went in and fell asleep in each others arms.
