"Come on Leigh, you can't spend the rest of your life in this bedroom!" Anna said.
Leigh got up and went into the shower. The girls went to the spa and got massages. Then they headed back to Anna's house. They called Natalie and the girls made plans for the night.
"What are we doing tonight?" Leigh asked Anna as they were driving to pick up Natalie.
"Going to a club."
Leigh groaned, "Nice choice."
Anna realized it wasn't the best place to go, since Nick cheated on her in a club.
Two hours later, the girls had been having a lot of fun at the club. As they were dancing, Anna noticed Brian in the club. She was about to walk over and ask what he was doing there, when Anna saw a depressed looking Nick not far behind him.
Anna bit her lip nervously and hoped Leigh and Nick wouldn't see each other. Leigh and Natalie danced to a song when Natalie pointed to someone.
"Hey, what's Brian doing here?" she yelled over the music.
Leigh shrugged and was about to turn back around when she saw Nick. A second later, he saw her too. They just stood there are stared at each other, neither knowing what to say or do. 'The Call' came blasting over the speakers and Leigh's face dropped. Nick looked as if he was in pain as he turned away from her. Leigh walked briskly out of the club. Not waiting for Anna or Natalie, she took a cab home.
Natalie, Anna, Nick and Brian headed to Brian's house. Anna opened the door and read the note on the table.
Nick collapsed in a chair and closed his eyes briefly. Natalie had to go home, so Brian, Anna and Nick sat around talking.
"I know you guys are tired of hearing this, but I need her in my life." he said sadly.
"How can she forgive you so easily? I mean she loves you so much, she gave up her chance to go ... I mean she gave up a lot." Anna said nervously.
She had almost told Nick about how Leigh had gotten accepted to her dream college in Houston, but threw away the letter, since she didn't want to leave Nick.
Nick eyed Anna, "What did she give up?"
Anna'a eyes darted from Brian to Nick.
"Nothing, I just meant she loves you." she spit out.
Nick frowned, "Anna, please tell me."
Anna sighed.
"A few months ago, Leigh got accepted to the college she has always wanted to go to. They offered her a scholarship too. But she threw away the letter, because it was in Houston and she didn't want to leave you. She didn't tell you because she knew you would make her go."
Nick couldn't believe what he heard. After she did that for him, he turned around and cheated on her?
He grabbed his keys and left. He had a lot of thinking to do.
