He stirred a little and pulled the covers up higher.
Leigh rubbed his arm, "Nick, it's time to get up."
Nick opened his eyes a little.
"Finally!" Leigh cheered, "Get up!"
"What time is it?" he asked.
"3 am."
Nick groaned and stuck a pillow over his head.
Leigh sighed and got off the bed. She pulled the covers off of him, and pushed his feet off the side of the bed.
"Okay, okay! I'm getting up." he grumbled.
He staggered tiredly into the bathroom and Leigh heard the shower turn on. She dragged his bags downstairs and placed them near the door. A half hour before, she had showered and dressed in soft pants and a tank top, so she would be comfortable for the trip to the airport.
Leigh sat down on the couched and flipped on the Tv. A few minutes later, Nick came into the living room wearing jeans and no shirt.
"The fans at the airport will appreciate that outfit." she giggled.
"I can't find my favorite shirt." Nick said grumpily.
Leigh got up and unzipped one of the bags. She pulled out his favorite shirt.
"Here." she said tossing him the shirt.
Nick walked upstairs with the shirt.
"Thanks works well too!" she called after him.
She hated having to be up with him this early, he was always in a bad mood when he had to wake up early.
He came down the stairs a few minutes later and kissed Leigh's cheek, "Sorry."
"It's okay. I am use to your cheery mood when it's early." she joked.
Nick sat down on the couch near Leigh.
"Two weeks without you..." Nick started.
"Will be a nice vacation. Don't go sentimental on me now. It's not like it's two months. I am just hoping it goes by quickly." Leigh said starting to depress herself.
Nick nodded and then was quiet a minute.
"Guess who is seeing AJ off at the airport." Nick said.
"Who?" Leigh asked.
"Natalie."
"Oh, that's so cute!" Leigh cooed, "I hope they date each other."
Nick nodded again.
"Everything okay? Your kind of quiet." Leigh said tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"I am just going to miss you a lot." he said glumly.
"Aww, baby!" Leigh said through a smile.
She moved closer next to him and pressed her lips softly on his. Then a grumpy Anna and a tired Brian burst into their house.
Leigh took her lips off Nick's and sat up.
"Wow, you two look like you belong in Mr. Rogers Neighborhood." Leigh commented on their grumpy looks, "What's the bad moods for?"
"Hmm, let's see. Our boyfriends are leaving for two weeks. And oh yeah, it's 4 in the morning!" Anna said.
Leigh giggled, "Well, then let's just head off now."
Nick groaned and grabbed his bags.
Forty-five minutes later, they all got to the airport, to see AJ and Natalie sitting in the waiting area, talking. Kevin was on his cell phone and Howie was talking to his girlfriend, Blair. Nick sat down next to Leigh and laid his head on her shoulder, falling into a light nap.
