"Have I told you how much I love you lately?" he said in a soft whisper.
Angie turned around and kissed him gently as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"How do you always know the right thing to say?" she asked.
Aj laughed lightly, "Trust me, I don't. I do know I haven't been paying enough attention to someone I love so much." he said kissing her sweetly.
"I love you too." she said with a smile.
Angie thought a minute, "So tonight, you want to go out with Claire and Nick? We could all go to the-"
"No, I want tonight to be just you and me." Aj said kissing her lightly.
Angie bit her lip and looked Aj in the eyes.
"Well, why don't you go home and get ready, then I will too. We can go out to Giovanni's, it's a new Italian restaurant and I heard it's supposed to be great." she said.
Aj nodded and kissed her quickly, "I'll go get ready and I'll see you tonight at 8."
He left and a smile spread across her face because Claire was right. Aj was in love with her.
Claire walked out of class and out of the building. She stepped outside and Nick's car was waiting outside.
"Hey!" she said opening the door.
"Hey, how was your day?" he asked, taking her books and placing them in the back-seat.
"Good. You know, you didn't have to come and pick me up..." she said, but she was happy that he did.
"I know, but I wanted to see you." he said.
Claire leaned over and kissed his cheek, "Well, thank you."
Just as she was about to lean back in her seat, Nick placed a finger under her chin, and met her lips in a soft, sweet kiss.
She smiled as they drove off towards nowhere in particular.
"Are you busy tonight?" Claire asked.
Nick shook his head no and sang along with the radio.
"Want to go shopping with me?" she said with a smirk.
Nick had learned by now, that shopping and girls, lead to hours of boredom.
"Uh, I might have something to do ... um, yeah, I think I am busy." he said.
Claire just laughed and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.
"Nick, just because I offer for you to come, doesn't mean you should feel bad if you don't want to." she said understanding why he didn't want to come.
He put his hand over hers and smiled, "How about when you get home from shopping, we can grab some Chinese food and just hang out at your house. Sound good?"
"Very good." she said with a little smile.
Nick drove Claire to her apartment, then drove off towards his house. He decided to stop by and see Brian for a while. After talking a bit, they decided to call up Kevin and one of Brian's friends, named Lucas, and have a game of basketball, two on two.
Meanwhile, over at Angie's, she was getting ready to go on the date with Aj. She curled her hair and pulled it up, then slipped on her dress and did her makeup. Just as she finished, the doorbell rang and she went downstairs.
