"I know you said your fine, but are you really okay about the whole Scott thing?" Angie asking opening a Diet Pepsi.
Claire tried to pick up the cooler and struggled with it, so Angie grabbed the other handle and helped.
"Yeah, I am. I was just really shaken up about him. I haven't had to deal with him for over a year so when he called I felt, so, I don't know, helpless." Claire said.
Angie nodded and they dropped the cooler onto the patio, "Your lucky to have Nick."
Claire smiled and walked over to him where he, Aj and Howie were arguing about how to make a hot dog plump. Claire smiled as she leaned against Nick and put her hand into his.
"What are you Einstein's up to?" she asked.
Nick laughed and was about to answer when they all heard a loud "yee-haw" get yelled then a splash into the water. Brian came up from the pool soaking wet with a huge smile on his face.
"That was a perfect cannonball, did y'all see it?" he asked proudly.
They all laughed and either shook their heads no or said no. Brian sighed and shrugged his shoulders before diving back in under the water.
"I am going to get changed so I can go swimming too." Claire said kissing Nick's cheek.
"Actually, I'll join you." he said.
Claire raised an eyebrow at him and he just laughed at her.
"Not like that, I mean I will come change too. In a different room." he explained blushing lightly.
She just smiled and walked inside with him. After changing, Nick still wasn't out of his room from changing, so she grabbed a CD player from the guestroom and bought it outside. She plugged it into the side of the house and went back inside for CD's. She skimmed the collection and laughed when she saw the Dream CD. She didn't want to know why Nick had it, so she just grabbed it and put it in the player, on shuffle.
The first song that came on was called 'In My Dreams' and Angie's face lit up. She grabbed Aj's hands and pulled him toward her and started dancing in front of him. He looked at her like she was crazy and he just crossed him arms.
"Wish that I could get the nerve and walk right up to you and ask you baby for your name. You look so inviting. This seems so exciting. We should be together this way." Angie sang as she danced in front of Aj.
Aj smiled and pulled her closer as she kept dancing. Claire laughed and sat down by the pool as the other guys did cat calls at her. Howie walked over and stuck a dollar in the belt of her pants. She started cracking up and walked off from Aj.
Angie walked over to Claire and sat down next to her.
"Ang, your crazy!" she laughed.
Angie smiled and bumped shoulders with Claire on purpose.
"Where's Romeo?" she asked.
"I don't know, changing still, I guess." Claire said.
Nick walked out a second later and walked over to Howie, Kevin and Aj who were sitting by the pool.
"Guys, tomorrow morning we have a flight to New York to film a show." Nick announced.
There was a round of okay's and yep's, then Nick turned and saw Brian in the pool.
"Frick, tomorrow morning, we have a flight to New York to film a show." he said walking over to him.
Nick looked down at Brian in the pool and saw Brian looked behind Nick, smiled, then looked back at Nick.
"What did you say Nick?" he asked with a mischievous smile on his face. Nick narrowed his eyes at Brian, "Tomorrow morning at 6:30 we have a flight to Ne-"
Aj came running up behind Nick and pushed him with all his force. Nick fell into the water head first, causing a huge splash. He came up to the surface and yelled Aj's name.
"Oh, you are gonna pay for that." Nick said getting out of the pool.
He chased Aj around the pool until he caught up to him, grabbed his arms behind his back and dived into the pool while holding Aj. Aj came up from the water and smacked Nick on the back of his head.
Nick laughed deviously and splashed Aj in the face.
"Hey Carter, be nice to my man." Angie said from the grill where she was talking with Kevin.
Nick laughed and swam over to Claire where she was just shaking her head and laughing at Nick's actions. He swam over and placed his wet hands on her knees.
"Come in." he said with a smirk.
"I don't think I have much of a choice, cause if I say no, you will push me in." she laughed.
He acted like he was thinking then he nodded, "Yeah your right."
She smiled and lowered herself into the pool. Angie soon got into the pool also and at the same time Aj and Nick yelled out "Chicken fights!"
Angie and Claire eyed each other, and in an unspoken agreement they were both wondering, why did they like their boyfriends?
They sighed and Claire got on Nick's shoulders as Angie got on Aj's. They had 4 fights and Angie won 3 to 1. They all got out of the pool and sat down to eat. Kevin finished cooking the hot dogs and then he sat down as everyone got their food.
Angie sat down next to Aj, and he kissed her cheek, "I'm so proud of my little chicken fight winner." he said in a corny voice.
Angie laughed and just smiled, "Yeah, I'll make sure I put that on my resume's, 'Loves chicken fights.' Then they'll know they hired a winner."
Aj laughed and kissed Angie. He looked at her lovingly and they all began to eat lunch.
"Man, who made these burgers?" Kevin said with a mouthful of burger and a disgusted look on his face.
Brian looked up from his plate, "I did."
"Stick with singing." Kevin, Nick and Angie all said.
Brian pretended to be disappointed but just ended up laughing and they all began to eat again.
