Nick answered the door in boxers only with his hair going every which way. Angie held back a laughter and Claire kissed his lips quickly.
"I wish I had a camera ... the fans would love seeing you like this." Claire said.
"Ha, ha, ha ..." Nick said, "Is that coffee?"
"Yeah, but looking like that you are in need of way more than just a coffee." she smirked.
"Oh, you know you think I'm sex-ay!" Nick said in a weird voice.
"Yeah, I need you, I want you, oh baby. oh baby..." Claire quoted from a movie.
Angie sighed and took the tray of coffee from Claire and pushed past Nick.
"Up and at 'em boys ... you better be decent!" she said as she walked in the room and pulled open the curtains. Brian showed up from the bathroom, freshly showered and dressed.
"Thank god someone here knows how to get ready in the morning." she said handing Brian a coffee and smiling at him.
Brian laughed and sat down, drinking his coffee. From the other bed, Aj yawned and pulled the covers up higher. Angie walked by and smacked his butt.
"Come on J, we don't have all day." she said walking back out to where Claire was laying a long kiss on Nick's lips, despite the morning breath he had.
"Nick, get yourself and Aj in the shower now." Angie instructed.
Claire pulled back from Nick's kiss and they both gave her a weird look.
"No, not together ... at separate times." she laughed.
Claire waved goodbye to Nick and they girls walked down the hallway.
"What are you in the army? Geez Ang, slow down!" Claire said walking as fast as she could.
"I just want to get out and do things today." she explained.
An hour later, they were driving through Montana's wilderness in a tour. They had seen an ad for it in the hotel lobby and they decided to go on it. Bad choice.
Aj had never been so bored in his life and Angie was falling asleep. Brian looked like the ultimate tourist with his camera hanging around his neck, and constantly taking pictures. Nick was twirling a piece of Claire's hair out of boredom and Claire was leaning against Nick.
"If Brian takes one more picture, I am gonna snap." Angie whispered to Aj.
Aj laughed lightly and intertwined fingers with her, "Let's get the hell out of here."
Angie looked at him like he was crazy but he told her about the stop they said they were going to have soon. The minute the big tour car stopped, Claire, Nick, Brian, Angie and Aj snuck off and walked around the state park. It was so pretty outside.
They walked around for awhile, until Brian and Aj wanted to get lunch. Nick and Claire weren't hungry. So they decided they would meet up later after Brian, Aj and Angie got lunch.
"Alright, we'll meet up in two hours at the front gates. Okay?" Angie said.
Claire nodded, "See you then."
They all went their separate ways and Nick and Claire walked on. She could tell he was thinking about something thoroughly, because he was distant and quiet.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"Nothing, I was just thinking..." he said.
"And you can't think and talk at the same time?" she said with a cute smile.
Nick smiled, "God, I love you so much." he said seriously.
Claire's words got stuck in her throat, "You too Nick."
His face got serious again and Claire stopped walking, "Nick, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, why would anything be wrong?" he asked with a bite to his words.
Claire was a little taken back and worried this would lead to another fight, "Nick, come on-"
Nick looked up at her with sad eyes, "God Claire, I love you so much ... and you are still holding back. I don't know what else I can do! I mean I think about you day and night and love you with every part of me. Three simple words, I love you. They are so simple, but they mean so much! I don't even know if you love me. You just .. you never say it back!"
Nick walked off and Claire just sat down on a bench nearby.
"My god, what have I done now?" she mumbled to herself.
