She woke up and bought coffee, bagels and doughnuts for everyone. She went back upstairs and woke up Angie, then they went to the guys room.
"Morning." Claire said kissing Nick's forehead as he woke up.
He yawned and kissed her cheek quickly before he got up to brush his teeth. Claire looked across the room to Aj and Angie, lost in their own little world. She smiled whenever she saw how happy and in love they were. They were perfect for each other.
Nick came back out and they all ate breakfast together. After that they decided to begin to pack, considering they were going back on the rode soon. They had had a wonderful trip and Claire was sad to go home, but had fun while they were there.
Angie and Claire went back to their room and began to pack. Angie came out of the bathroom with her arms full of all different things.
"Have you ever noticed that you leave for a trip and you have a regular amount of things, but when you leave you can never fit all your stuff back into the suitcase?" she complained.
Claire laughed lightly, "That's just one of life's annoyances."
Angie smiled, "You seem so much more ... free. I know that sounds weird but ever since you found out about Scott going to jail, you just shine happiness."
"Ang, you don't even know what a relief it is not to have to worry about him." she smiled.
Angie smiled and they finished packing. They dragged their bags to the lobby and the guys met up with them there. Brian checked them out, then they all piled into the RV and set off on their way home.
They stopped at the grocery store and stocked up on food. Aj and Brian bought a few movies. And they watched movies, played games, talked or just relaxed most of the way home.
Brian and Angie bickered over which movie to watch, and Brian won. Angie sat and pouted for a minute then just stuck her tongue out at Brian and watched the movie with them.
Around 7pm, Angie took a shower and Aj took over driving for her. Then at 10pm, Aj wanted to take a shower and get to bed, so it was Nick's turn to drive.
It was soon 11pm and everyone was in bed other than Nick, who was driving and Claire who was in the shower.
When she got out, she walked by Angie and Aj who were both sleeping on the table, cuddled together, looking happy as ever. She smiled and walked by the bunks to see Brian sleeping soundly, listening to his Sting CD. Claire laughed lightly and walked to the front of the RV and sat down.
"Hey." Nick said in a soft voice.
"Hi..." Claire said sitting in the passenger seat.
The two of them sat in a comfortable silence as Claire gazed out the window for awhile. Nick had the radio on a soft rock station and "When I Fall In Love" by Celine Dion came on. Claire rested her head back and relaxed as she lightly sang along. Nick looked over at her and smiled.
"I love you." he said.
"You t-" Claire stopped and smiled at him, "I love you too Nick."
