Canine Sugar has a new drummer. His name is Matthew Tobey and he is a nice guy! Matt has been in some splendid bands preceding his Canine Sugar days. Notable groups include Thrashathon, and The Racing Trains and remains a founding member and super creator in the group Abe Froman. Abe Froman has just put out a new record and they actually play a lot more live than Canine Sugar, so your best chance to see Matt in a town near you would be to watch him do his thing in Abe Froman. They are really good. Maybe we will have a show together soon and wear Matt out completely. "I don't care if he bleeds!" -Sam Cooke.
As of now Canine Sugar has no shows lined up. This is partly due to practicing with the new group and being busy. But hopefully in early February, the band will be back playing live.
There are sixteen new songs on the list for a brand new Canine Sugar album. Hopefully this record will be all done and recorded by your birthday.
