The three of them get up and leave.

Greg and Chris are left to think about their "plan." When they finally know what they're going to do and the other guys come back, at 7:00PM they all get ready to put the plan into action.

At 7:30PM Frankie and Matt hop into Frankie's car and drive away...Greg and Chris take the ferry across the Hudson River and take a quick bus ride to the town the girls' live in and Jesse takes a taxi to Central Park...

When Jesse gets to the park, he looks around for Kayla...and he spots her from far away and he decides to walk up to her...
Jesse-Um...hi Kayla...
Kayla-I came...what do you want?
Jesse-I wanted to make it up to you...for being such a jerk...
Kayla-And how do you plan to do that??
Jesse-I'm going to sing to you??
Kayla-Well actually...while I was in the taxi coming here I thought of a little song to sing to you...
Jesse-Really?
Kayla-Here it is...Jesse, Jesse...You're an ass...you're a low-life with no class...So what do you think??
Jesse-Looks down sadly..."It rhymes."
Kayla-Looks at Jesse and sees how hurt he is and she sighs..."Uh....go on...sing your song...
Jesse looks up and smiles a little bit and starts singing "Gotta Get the Girl" very quietly. As he gets more into the song he gets louder and louder. He even starts dancing which makes Kayla laugh a little. At the end of the song, he kneels down, takes her hand and changes the words to say..."Gotta Gotta Gotta get my babycakes." Kayla starts laughing and sees that he's sorry and kneels down next to him. A big smile comes across Jesse's face and he leans in to kiss her...As he leans in, Kayla backs away and says..."Wait..wait wait...Hold on...you're going to be honest with me now right?
Jesse-Yes I will....I promise...
Kayla-Okay...just checking...go back to what you were doing...
He kisses her on the lips and the two of them get up, he puts his arm around her and they walk around the park for a little while.

Meanwhile Matt got dropped off by the lake from Frankie. Matt goes over by the lake and sits down. Fifteen minutes later, he hears foot-steps behind him. Kelli-So why did you bring me here? Matt gets up and starts singing, "Hooked On You." Kelli is a little confused in the beginning but then realizes that singing to her is what he meant by "making it up to her." When he starts the rap Kelli burst out laughing. Matt smiles but keeps on singing. When the song is over, Matt says "So do you forgive me? I'm really sorry and I never meant to hurt you...I really like you Kelli...Kelli looks at him, blushes and says, "Ah what the hell...I forgive ya...Just don't lie anymore Matthew!
Matt-Don't worry...I won't...
Matt leans over to kiss Kelli and Kelli leans in but before they kiss, Matt takes a step, slips on goose poop and flies into the lake...Kelli laughs so hard that she falls onto the ground in a pile of goose poop.
Kelli-Ewww....(Laughing) Matt is still in the water with goose feathers all over his head...
Matt-Oops...HeHe...I slipped...This water is nasty...
Kelli-Not as nasty as this crap on me...saying that...Kelli jumps into the lake and joins up with Matt. They both kiss and laugh very hard at what had just happened...

During all of this, Frankie walks over to the boat house (Diana and his "special place") and finds her sitting in the corner...
Frankie-Hey gorgeous...
Diana-Don't "hey gorgeous" me...what do you want?
Frankie-I want to go back to before I ever lied to you...when we were happy...
Diana-Well did anyone ever tell you that you can't always get what you want?
Frankie-Yea...but I don't want you...I NEED you...I can't take you not talking to me...
Diana-You did it to yourself ya know...If you didn't lie all those times this wouldn't have happened.
Frankie-But you know I only lied because I love you and I don't want you to get hurt.
Diana-Lying hurts more... Theres a long silence and then Frankie starts to sing "Dream On."
He goes into the corner where Diana is sitting and puts his arm around her waist and she doesn't move away...Before the song is even over, the two of them are making out.
Frankie-Well I guess that means apology accepted?
Diana-No more lying Franklin...
Frankie-Must you call me Franklin??
Diana-Yes I do....you cute little turtle you... They go back to making out and meanwhile Chris is in New Jersey with Greg going to Holly and Kristen's house. They split up at the corner...agreeing to meet back there in another hour. Greg keeps walking straight and Chris turns left. Chris starts getting nervous and talks to him...

Chris-You can do it Chris...you're the man....remember that...
As he got closer to her house, he sees Kristen through her window and she's in her PJ's dancing around her room while cleaning up...Chris just smiles and finds some pebbles to throw at the window to get her attention...The window was so see through that he didn't realize it was open...He throws a pebble and it goes into her room and knocks over her Sprite which is on her desk in front of the window...Kristen was wondering how that happened and she went into the other room to get some paper towels...
Chris says to himself-Where'd the pebble go? Hmm...I'll throw some more...
As Kristen walks back into her room with paper towels to clean the spill she notices pebbles being throwed into her room by the window...Handfuls and handfuls were being launched into her room and Kristen had no idea what was going on...
Chris saying to himself-Where the hell did all of the pebbles go?? She walks over to her window, and looks down at Chris just as he throws a pebble...and hits Kristen in the head
Kristen-Owww...what the hell was that for?
Chris-Ohh sorry...your window was open?? Thats where the pebbles went... Just then Kristen picks up a pile of the pebbles and throws them at Chris...
Chris-Owww....
Kristen-What are you doing here anyway?And why are you throwing pebbles into my room?
Chris-Oh, I wanted to ask you, are you home by yourself?
Kristen-Uh yes...why?
Chris-Oh...uh no reason...I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything...I didn't mean to hurt you at all...and I'd like to make it up to you....
Kristen-How? Chris clears his throat and starts singing "Someone to Hold Me Tonight." 20 seconds into the song she interrupts Chris's singing...."Chris...don't waste your breath on me...I'm sorry but it's over...Goodbye.." She shuts her window and pulls her shade down....

Chris looks down at the ground and his eyes start to fill up with tears...He puts his head in his hands and starts to cry softly... Kristen paces back and forth in her room for a minute and then peaks out her window. She sees him sitting on the grass crying.
Kristen-Oh.....I don't want him to cry...she says to herself...She runs down the stairs and out the back door...and over to the side of the house where Chris is. She runs over to him and gives him a big hug.
Kristen-Chris, I'm sorry....This was partly my fault too. I overreacted way too much and I'm sorry. Chris looks up at her with his red teary eyes and says..."I'm sorry too...I didn't mean to hurt you...I think I love you...Will you take my ring back?
Kristen-Only if you do something for me....
Chris-Which is???
Kristen-Sing the rest of your song...
Chris-Sure...he takes the ring, puts it on her finger and starts singing. The two of them sit in the grass hugging eachother for a long time as Chris sings....

As Greg walks to Holly's house he was feeling a bit worried...He starts talking to himself...
Greg-Dude...I have like butterbugs in my stomach. Wait...that didn't sound right...butter....?? Oh yeah butterflies...duh.... As he got to Holly's house, he went on the porch and nervousily rang her doorbell. Holly came to the door and opened it to see Greg there...
Greg-Hi Holly....
Holly-Bye Greg....She goes to shut the door but Greg puts his hand on the door and says..."Let me explain.

I'm really really sorry for everything...and I mean everything...but before you slam the door in my face can I say something...
Holly-What? And make it fast..... Greg starts singing "Jennifer Goodbye"... As he got into the song, Holly stood there looking very confused and angry...When he finished the song he said,"So what do you think?"
Holly-What the hell is that suppose to mean? Jennifer goodbye? Who the hell is Jennifer???
Greg-Um.....Um...I don't know...There's no Jennifer...it's just...its just...all the guys and me decided to sing our solo songs to you...and I didn't even realize that my solo song was "Jennifer Goodbye."
Holly-So there is a Jennifer???
Greg-No....I didn't even write the song...I know no Jennifer's....or Jenny's...or Jen's....or anything like that. If you're mad blame Jesse...it was his idea to sing the solo songs... Holly starts laughing at the expression on Greg's face...
Holly-Greg...Greg...Greg...What am I going to do with you?
Greg-What are you going to do without me?
Holly-(Laughing) Sleep longer in the morning?? Greg pulls Holly out of her house and over to the bench on the porch. They both sit there for a little while.
Greg-So will you take me back?
Holly doesn't say anything but she looks at Greg and kisses him...They sit on the porch and kiss for a little while...
An hour later Greg tells Holly he has to go meet Chris at the corner...They kiss good-bye and he says he'll call her when he gets home....

Chris and Kristen (still on the grass) are talking and kissing when Chris realizes the time.
Chris-Oh I gotta go and meet Greg at the corner.
Kristen-Oh okay...call me when you get home?
Chris-You know it.... They kiss goodbye once more and Chris heads to the corner to meet Greg...Kristen decides to go into her room and pick up all of the pebbles on the ground.

Jesse and Kayla spent awhile at the park hanging around, talking and kissing. Jesse took the first taxi with Kayla to her house and then Jesse took a taxi back to Frankie's house.

Frankie and Diana are at the boathouse when they both get into Frankie's car to pick up Matt and Kelli. Matt and Kelli were in the lake for a long time just having fun. When Frankie came to pick them up, they were both soaking wet and covered with dirt...
Frankie-What the hell happened?
Matt-We had a little accident...
Frankie-Well you're not coming in my car like that...
Matt-It's just a car...you get so over protective....
Diana-Just put the towels that are in your trunk on the seats...
Frankie-Fine....
The 4 of them drive away to drop off the girls. An hour later all of the guys meet back at Frankie's house to talk about their "experiences"....from the pebbles...to the lake...from "Jennifer Goodbye"to Jesse's little dance in the park and "Franklin's" little apology...The guys were all very happy to have the girls back with them....

After the girls talked to eachother on the phone, they decided to sleep over Kayla's house and talk about their "experiences."
Diana-(Laughing) I can't believe Chris hit you in the head with a pebble....
Kristen-(Laughing) Yea...but it was an accident....
Holly-And you Kelli....jumping into the lake??
Kelli-Well ya know....it looked like fun...Matt is soo sexy when he's wet.... They all start laughing...
Kayla-You should have seen Jesse's dance...The old people walking their dogs in the park were staring at him like he was crazy.... All of the girls laughed until their stomachs hurt and decided to go to sleep.....

Chapter 9
