Chapter 1
Summertime
Alyssa’s Point of View
"Hilary, I can’t believe that we’re finally done our finals." I said to
my friend.
"I can’t believe that Aaron comes home today," she said referring to
her boyfriend.
Just then we heard a horn and it was my two older brothers Brian and
Kevin along with Aaron and his brother Nick and their bandmate AJ with
my other best friend Sarah Martin.
"Hi girls." Brian said.
"Brian! You’re home! I’ve missed you." I said hugging my brother.
"I’ve missed you too sis." he said.
"What about me?" Kevin asked.
"I’ve missed you too Kev." I said as I went over to give him a hug as
well.
"Hi Alyssa." Nick said to me.
"Hi Nick." I said smiling at him.
"Guess what?" Sarah asked.
"What?" I replied.
"We have to get you two girls packed because the guys are taking us to
paradise." she said.
"Paradise?" Hilary asked.
"That’s right baby." Aaron said.
"See we’re taking you lovely ladies to Hawaii." AJ said.
"Ahh." Hilary and I both screamed.
"I take it you approve." Brian said.
"Approve this is so awesome Brian thank you." I said.
"Nick wanted you to come too," he said.
"Thanks for thinking of me Nick." I said.
"I always think about you," he said.
"Why don’t I take Hilary home to pack and then we’ll meet you back at
Brian’s house." Aaron said.
"Sure. Hey Frack can you do me favor?" Brian asked Nick.
"Sure." he said.
"Can you take Alyssa home to pack while I pick up Leigh and the pizza?"
Brian asked.
"No problem." he said.
So we all left and Nick drove me home and it was weird. Something
changed between us and we both knew it. We were to scared to admit that
our feelings have changed.
Nick’s Point of View
"So how was your last day?" I asked.
"It was great. I’m glad that you guys are home from the tour," Alyssa
said.
"I really missed you." I said.
"I missed you too," she said. We arrived at her house and we went in
and she threw her books down and checked the messages.
"Do you need some help packing?" I asked.
"Actually I need you to get my suitcase off of my closet shelf if you
don’t mind," she said.
"Sure." I said following her upstairs.
"It’s right in there," she said.
"Here you go." I said handing it to her and it was so big she fell
trying to hold it right on her bed. I started laughing like crazy.
"You think that’s funny don’t you?" she asked.
"Yes very funny." I said.
"I bet you won’t think this is funny," she said tickling me.
"Okay, okay I give up." I said. She stopped and I stared at her.
"Not." I said tickling her.
I ended up on top of her and her face and my face were so close. I
leaned down ready to kiss her when Brian yelled that he was home and
that the pizza was here. "I’ll race you downstairs," she said getting
up.
"Okay." I said. I let her win.
She got me some pizza and she sat down next to me as we watched some TV
with AJ and Sarah.
"This is going to be so much fun." Sarah said.
"I know I mean come on we get to go to Hawaii with gorgeous looking
women." I said.
"Some of us are taken." Sarah said.
"Not the one I’m interested in." I said winking at Alyssa.
"Are you packed sis? Our plane leaves in 3 hours." Brian said.
"Yeah I’m packed." she said.
Three hours later we were on the plane and it Alyssa and I in a row and
everyone else had fallen asleep but us.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"I’m sleepy," she said.
"Why don’t you take a nap?" I said.
"Okay I’ll do that," she said as she laid her head against me. I was
already in paradise and we hadn’t even gotten there yet.

Hawaii
Alyssa’s Point of View
"Alyssa! Alyssa! Wake up! We’re here." I heard Nick call me.
"Hi." I said.
"Hi yourself," he said.
"We’re in Hawaii! I can’t believe it." I said.
"Well you better baby because we’re here for the whole summer." Nick
said.
"I can’t wait." I said.
We got in a taxi and went to our hotel it was awesome. We checked in
and we unpacked and Brian called our parents to tell them that we
arrived safely. I was in my room and Brian came knocking on my door.
"Do you like your room?" he asked.
"I love it." I said.
"Hey you two." Nick said coming in.
"Hey Nick." I said.
"I’m going to go find my wife." Brian said.
"Bye Bri." I said.
"Um Alyssa?" Nick asked.
"Yeah Nick." I said.
"Something’s changed between us hasn’t it?" he asked.
"Yeah it has." I said.
"I’ve never had trouble talking to girls especially not you and now
it’s like I’m scared I’m going to say the wrong thing and embarrass
myself." he explained.
"I know I feel the same way. I’m scared Nick I’m scared of what I’m
feeling." I said.
"I know I am too. At least we’re scared together and we can help
eachother. Alyssa, I just want you to know whatever happens between us
I care about you a lot," he said.
"I care about you too Nick." I said as he kissed my cheek and went back
to his room.
Nick’s Point of View
"Hey Frack! What’s wrong?" AJ asked me.
"Oh hey Bone. I’m just thinking." I said.
"Thinking about a certain best friend of mine?" he asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Why do you look so confused?" he asked.
"I’m confused. Things have changed between us and I don’t know why or
what to do about it." I said.
"Okay, how do she make you feel when you’re with her?" AJ asked.
"She makes me feel like I’m free and I can do anything as long as I’m
with her. She makes a bad day seem better. Her smile and her laugh
brightens my day. She knows exactly how I feel and I don’t even have to
say anything she’s amazing." I said.
"Nick, you’re in love with her." AJ said.
"I know I am I just don’t know how to tell her and I don’t know if
she’s going to feel the same way." I said.
"Well you won’t know until you try Frack." AJ said.
"You’re right." I said.
"Then what are you waiting for? Go tell her, go get your girl." AJ
said. I walked back to Alyssa’s room and knocked on the door.
"Nick! What’s up? You look serious," she said.
"Alyssa I need to tell you something very important." I said.
"Okay." she said.
"I know why things have changed between us and it’s because I’m in love
with you." I said.

Feelings
Alyssa’s Point of View
I just stood there in shock. I mean the man of your dreams has just
told you that he’s in love with you and you want to soak up every
minute.
"What did you just say?" I asked.
"I said I’m in love with you." Nick repeated. I closed my eyes and
soaked it up.
"Please, say something." he begged.
"I’m in love with you too." I said.
"You are?" he asked.
"I am very much." I said.
"I love you so much it scared me to think that I could love someone so
much yet worthy enough of them to love me back." Nick said.
"I’ve loved you since I turned 16 2 years ago I just was afraid because
you were 21 and I was afraid you would laugh at me." I said.
"Come here," he said pointing to the spot next to him.
"Baby I would never laugh at you I love you and I swear I’ll always try
to make you happy." Nick said.
"You already have made me happy by this coming to my door and admitting
your feelings for me that made me feel like I’m special." I said.
"You are special, maybe not to anyone else but you are to me." Nick
said.
"Thanks Nick." I said. We hugged and he burried his head into my
shoulder. "Nick?" I asked.
"Yes." he answered.
"Can I kiss you?" I asked.
"Baby, you don’t have to ask me that. You can kiss me whenever you
want." he said as he cupped my face in his hands and kissed me.
"I love you so much." I said.
"I love you too," he said as we walked to the elevator to go and meet
everyone for lunch.
We went in the resturant and Leigh, Brian, AJ, Sarah, and Hilary were
already down waiting for us at a table.
"Hey Alyssa." Sarah said.
"Hi Sarah." I said.
"Hey Frack." Brian and AJ said.
"Hey." he said smiling.
"Alyssa come with me to get something out of my room." Sarah said.
"Okay." I said.
We went up to her and AJ’s suite and she sat me down and asked
the big question.
"What’s up with you and Nick?" she asked.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about." I said smiling.
"He told you didn’t he?" she asked.
"Yeah he told me he was in love with and he wants to be with me." I
said.
"Ahhh…" Sarah screemed.
"That was my ear." I said as we screemed together.
Nick’s Point of View
"So how did it go?" AJ asked.
"It went okay." I said not wanting to give to much away because I
wanted to see them sweat a little.
"Just okay?" Brian asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"What did she say?" AJ asked.
"She just said what I hoped she’d say." I told them.
"You’re killing me." AJ said.
"Fine I told her how I felt and that I was in love with her and she
said she felt the same." I said smiling.
"I told you." AJ said.
"That’s great my best friend and my little sister that’s so cute."
Brian said.
"Cute?" AJ and I said at the same time.
"Oh my gosh I just said cute? Leigh you’ve gotten to me," Brian said.
Just then the girls came down and so did my brother, Kevin, and Kristen.
"Is everything okay?" I asked Alyssa.
"Everything’s great." she said squeezing my hand.
"What’s going on this afternoon?" Aaron asked.
"Alyssa, Kristen, Leighanne, and I are going into town to shop for some
bathing suites." Hilary said.
"Yuck!" Aaron and I said at the same time.
"You can tell their brothers." Alyssa said.
"But you love us anyway." Aaron said.
"Says who?" Hilary said.
So we ate lunch and I walked Alyssa back to her room and watched her
get ready to go shopping.

Afternoon
Alyssa’s Point of View
I was getting ready and Nick was just sitting there smiling at me.
"What?" I said.
"Have I told you how amazing you are?" he asked.
"Not enough." I said sitting on his lap.
"Well, you are incredibly amazing and you’re all mine." he said as we
kissed. We didn’t even stop kissing when there was a knock on the door.
"Excuse me, but can I have my best friend?" Sarah asked.
"I guess as long as you promise to bring her back." Nick said.
"I promise." Sarah said.
"I love you baby," he said.
"I love you too Nicky." I said as Sarah and I left to meet the other
girls.
"I found her she was "busy" if you know what I mean." she said laughing.
We arrived in town and we found some cute bikinis and I found some cute
antiques to send to my parents. By the time we got done it was 4:00 and
we arrived at the resort and went to the house and we found that the
guys weren’t there. We looked out and they were on the beach playing
volleyball with some other guys.
"Should we go join them?" Sarah asked.
"Sure." I said.
So we changed and we each wore one of our new outfits. I wore a baby
blue takini.
"Hey sis." Kevin said.
"Hi Kevin can we play?" I asked my brother.
"Sure." he said as they made up new teams.
It was Kristen, Hilary, Aaron, Mike, Caleb, and Kevin on one team and
then it was Leighanne, Brian, AJ, Sarah, Nick, and I on another team.
We played until Mike and Caleb had to go to work. We decided to order
out and then watch a movie so we all went to take showers and clean up.
Nick’s Point of View
"I’ll see you when I get done." I said.
"Wait Nick! Why don’t you just take a shower with me?" Alyssa asked.
"Are you sure." I asked.
"Yeah, I mean I’m going to take a shower with my suit on so why not
plus I’ve missed you and I wanted to get you alone for awhile." she
said.
"Sounds good to me." I said as she led me to the bathroom and she
turned on the shower.
"This feels amazing," she said as she washed my back.
"You bet it does." I said.
"I meant the hot water," she said.
"Oh I see how you are." I said as I started tickling her.
"Stop! Nick please!" she begged.
"What will you give me for it?" I asked.
"This." she said as she turned around a kissed me passionatly. I let
out a moan and kissed her deeper as the water ran down on us.
"I love you so much," she said as I kissed her neck.
"I love you too." I said.
"Nick as much as I don’t want you to stop we better or we’ll be late
and then everyone will be asking questions and I do want to keep some
things between the two of us." she said.
"You win." I said as we dried off and I went to my room to get my
clothes.
I got changed and then went back and she was ready makeup and all by
the time I got back. We walked downstairs hand in hand and found that
everyone was sitting watching TV waiting for Brian and Kevin to come
back with the food. I sat down and sat her on my lap and I ran my hands
up and down her back and kept getting lower and lower.
"Nick!" she whispered.
"I’m sorry I can’t help it. You’re so beautiful." I said.
"What if my brother’s walk in?" she asked.
"Oops I forgot about that." I said.
"Just wait." she said.
"I’ll try." I said.
"What are we watching AJ?" Alyssa asked.
"We’re watching the sci-fi channel," he said as he kissed the top of
Sarah’s head.
"We’re back." Kevin announced.
"Took you long enough." Kristen said.
"Hey it wasn’t my fault Brian kinda got lost." he said.
"How?" Leigh asked.
"I took a wrong turn," he said as we all laughed.
We ate and cleaned up and then we decided to watch Pearl Harbor. All of
the girls cried which is typical for them. After we watched the movie
everyone went to the bedrooms except for Alyssa and I.
"Do you want to take a walk on the beach?" I asked her.
"Sure." she said as I helped her up and we walked along the water hand
in hand and she sighed.
"What’s wrong?" I asked her.
"I can’t believe this is real," she said.
"What is?" I asked.
"Us," she replied.
"I know I can’t believe it either." I said.
"I’ve waited a long time for this," she said.
"I know so have I." I said.
"I love you so much," she said.
"I love you too." I said as I kissed her in the moonlight.

"Well, I guess I better get some sleep." I said.
"Yeah, me too." Nick said.
"Wait Nick! Um do you want to stay with me tonight?" I asked.

4 weeks later
"Nicky, I’m not feeling very well." Alyssa told me.
"Do you want to go lay down?" I asked her because we were on the beach.
"I think that’s a good idea will you come with me? I don’t want to be
alone right now," she said.
"Anything for you." I said as we walked back to her room to lay down.
"Baby what is it? You’ve been feeling this way for a while." I said.
"Nick, I’m late." she said.
"How late?" I asked.
"3 weeks late," she said.
"I think we better get you a test." I said.
"Can you go get me one?" I asked.
"Sure I’ll go to the store." I said.
"Nick, I’m really scared." she said.
"Everything will be okay I promise." I said as I went to the store.
I went and bought it and thank goodness no one saw me. I returned and
she went in the bathroom and took it while I paced around the room. She
finally came out with the test and it was positive and she had tears
coming down her face.
"I’m so sorry," she cried.
"Hey! It’s just as much mine as it is yours and don’t be sorry. We’re
going to have a baby." I said.
"You mean you’re not leaving me?" she asked.
"Why would you think that?" I asked.
"Most friends I know when their boyfriend’s find out that their
girlfriends are pregnant they leave," she said.
"I’m not most boyfriends and I love you with all my heart and I want to
be with you forever so it looks like you’re stuck with me." I said.
"What am I going to tell my parents? Brian and Kevin aren’t going to be
very happy with you," she said.
"We’ll deal with them together." I said as I took her hand and headed
downstairs.
Alyssa’s Point of View
"Hi Brian, Hi Kevin, Hi AJ, Hi Aaron." I said.
"Hey!" they said.
"We need to talk to all of you," Nick said. AJ turned the TV off.
"What’s up Frack?" Brian asked.
"Nick and I are going to have a baby." I said.
"A baby?" Brian asked.
"Yeah, a baby." I said.
"Say something please." Nick begged.
"How could you be so unresponsible?" Kevin yelled.
"We weren’t we used protection." Nick said.
"She’s only 18 she hasn’t even graduated high school yet." Kevin
continued.
"Kevin, I’m going to finish high school. Can’t you be happy for me?" I
asked.
"No I can’t ever since you and Nick got together all he’s done is
messed up your life. I can’t believe you would do this Nick." Kevin
yelled.
"He didn’t do anything all he did was love me. I can’t believe you
think this is his fault. It’s not." I yelled.
"Brian you’re all quiet. What do you think?" Kevin asked.
"I think Nick is the best thing that’s ever happened to her. I think
that if they want to have a baby then that’s great." Brian said.
"Really Brian?" I asked.
"Really sis." he said.
"I can’t believe this." Kevin yelled walking upstairs.

Alyssa’s Point of View
"Alyssa, you need to call mom and dad tonight." Brian said.
"I can’t I’m so scared Brian. I never meant to hurt Kevin. He’s just
like Dad if Kevin is mad then Dad’s going to be too." I said.
"Honey Kevin will come around. He’s just not used to the fact that
you’re all grown up and that you have your own life and don’t need us
to protect you all the time." Brian said handing me the phone.
Before I could dial the phone it rang.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hi baby." my dad said.
"Hi Daddy! I was just about to call you." I said.
"Honey, I need to tell you something. Your mom left 2 months ago and
now she sent me papers and she wants a divorce. I wanted to tell you in
person but I couldn’t fly out to Hawaii. I’m sorry I had to tell you
this way," he said.
"Does Brian, Kevin, Josh, and Amy know?" I asked.
"They’ve known since you left." my dad said.
"So you guys were trying to protect me. Right?" I asked.
"Honey, we didn’t want you to be upset," my dad told me.
"Upset you’re right I’m upset. Daddy, I’m 18 years old and I’m old
enough to vote and drive but I’m not old enough to know that my mother
is leaving us again. Guess what dad? That’s not the only thing I’m
pregnant." I yelled and dropped the phone and ran upstairs.
"Baby what is it?" Nick asked.
"Just hold me Nick." I cried as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Honey, what is it?" he asked.
"My mom and dad are getting a divorce and the thing is that Brian and
Kevin knew it from the beginning and they hid it from me because they
were trying to protect me like I’m some child." I said.
"Baby, don’t cry. I hate seeing you upset like this," he said as I
closed my eyes and fell asleep with him holding me.
Brian’s Point of View
"Who is the father Brian? Who is it? Tell me now!" my dad yelled.
"Dad it’s Nick he’s the father." I said.
"What in the world were you thinking? She’s a kid," he yelled some more.
"Dad she’s 18 years old and she’s in love. I couldn’t help it anymore
than you could." I said.
"I’m sorry, I’m just mad and upset because of everything going on here.
Tell your sister that if this is what she wants then I’m happy for her
and give Leighanne a hug for me. I’ll talk to you later Brian. I love
you," my dad said.
"You too Dad bye." I said.
Alyssa’s Point of View
I woke up and found a note that Nick went downstairs to watch TV. I
cleaned up and walked down and found Brian and Nick watching a movie.
"Hey you two." I said.
"Hey sis did you have a nice nap?" he asked.
"I sure did." I said.
"Alyssa, dad said he’s happy for Nick and you if it’s what you really
want," he said.
"It is what I really want. Thanks Brian for supporting me." I said
hugging him.
"Anytime." he said.
"So what are we doing tonight?" I asked.
"Well, Aaron and Hilary are doing something together alone, Kristen and
Kevin wanted to be alone, and AJ took Sarah for a romantic dinner on a
house boat for the night so that leaves just us." Nick said.
"How about we go into town and eat and then find a club or something?"
I suggested.
"Are you sure you’re up to it?" Nick asked.
"Baby, I’m pregnant not paralized." I said.
"Sounds like she’s up to it Frack." Brian said.
"Okay let’s go get ready and we’ll meet here in an hour." Nick said. We
walked to his room and he sat me down on the bed and kissed me
passionatly.
"What was that for?" I asked.
"It was for making my dreams come true. It was for being the best thing
in my life. It was for loving me for who I am as a person not just a
big star." Nick said.
"You’re making me cry." I said.
"You’re my everything. You and our baby are all that matters in my
life. I would give up everything for you two. I love you so much and I
can’t wait to be a father." he said.
"I love you Nickolas Gene Carter." I said kissing him.
"I love you too baby." he said.

Fun Times
Nick’s Point of View
"I’m almost ready." Alyssa said from the bathroom.
"Okay, I’ll wait for you. You know when we get back we’ll have to get
you a doctor." I said.
"That’s right. I forgot." she said.
"I’m ready," she said coming out looking good.
"You look so good tonight baby." I said.
"Thanks," she said.
We got in the back of the car since Brian had offered to drive and we
ate at a nice restaurant called the Aloha Circle. They told us of a
club that was really popular so we went there and danced the night
away. Alyssa and I danced for about an hour before sitting down.
"Baby, I don’t wanna sit down I wanna dance some more," she said.
"We will just as soon as you rest." I said.
"Fine I’ll rest but only for a little while," she said.
"Do you want a drink or something?" I asked.
"Some ginger ale would be great," she said.
I went to get a drink for her and I looked at her and I thought man am
I one lucky guy. I have the best girl in the whole world and she’s
making me a daddy. I couldn’t ask for anything else.
"Here you go." I said handing her the drink.
"Are you still going to think I look good when I’m fat, moody, and
ugly?" she asked.
"Of course baby." I said.
We danced some more and then we were all pretty tired so we headed back
and headed to our rooms. We went into my room since it was closer to us
then hers. We started making out on the bed.

"I want that too," she said as I pulled off our clothes and she took my

I woke up in Nick’s arms and couldn’t believe that we had to leave

baby would be born in April just in time for spring.

We got dressed and we decided to spend the last day with just the two
of us. Nick rented a car and we rode into the mountains of Hawaii. We
arrived and we laid out a blanket and sat there listening to the
waterfalls and the birds.
"Nicky, Make love to me here now." I said.
"Now here?" he asked.
"Yes, here now." I said.
He did and it was amazing better then we’ve ever had. We laid there and
ate and then we took a swim and headed back because we needed to pack.
We arrived and found that everyone had the same idea. We went to sleep
that night and woke up the next morning and got on the plane and
arrived in Tampa around 3:00 PM in the afternoon.

Preparing
Nick’s Point of View
5 months later
I never knew pregnant women were so horny during their pregnancy. We
made love almost every night. Anyway Brian, Leigh, Alyssa, and I were
at the mall picking things out for the new nursery when suddenly Alyssa
jumped.
"What is it?" I asked.
"The baby just kicked." she said.
"It surprises you doesn’t it?" Leigh said.
"Yeah, it sure did. Oops there it goes again." Alyssa said smiling.
I’ve never seen her so happy in her life. I knew what I had to do but
the question was would she want to.
"Hey Frick why don’t we let the girls finish up in here meet us in the
food court in a half and hour because I need to show you something at
the music store." I said.
"Okay Frack." Brian said.
"What is it?" Brian asked.
"I need you to come help me pick out a ring for Alyssa. On Valentines
Day I’m going to ask her to marry me if it’s okay with you. I already
asked your dad and he said that it was fine as long as it was okay with
you, Kevin, and JC." I said.
"Of course it’s okay with me. What did Kevin say?" he asked.
"Kevin said okay even though he wasn’t happy about it." I said.
"Let’s go find her a ring." Brian said.
We walked in the store and we found the perfect ring for her. I put the
down payment on it and told him I would return tomorrow with the rest
of the money. We met the girls who had 2 extra seats filled with bags
of baby stuff.
"Hey baby." I said kissing Alyssa.
"Hi Nicky." she said.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked her.
"Seseme chicken with white rice." she said.
So Brian wanted the same so he went to get their food while Leigh and I
got pizza. That night I felt our baby kick for the first time and it
was an amazing feeling.
Alyssa’s Point of View
"Do you want a boy or a girl?" I asked him in bed after we had made
love.
"Anything is good for me as long as it’s a healthy baby." Nick said.
"That’s what I want too, but after being with Baylee a lot you know
watching him I kinda want a baby boy, but a baby girl is fine too." I
said.
"As long as you and our baby is healthy I’m fine with a boy or a girl."
Nick said.
"Me too." I said.
"You know Valentine’s Day is coming up soon. I was wondering if maybe
you wanted to go to the beach house for the weekend and spend some time
together just the two of us away from doctors, managers, studios, just
me and you." Nick said.
"Sure, that sounds great." I said.
So that weekend we drove to the beach house that his parents gave him
for his 21’st birthday. We arrived and he cooked me dinner on the beach
and when I got there I got the best surprise of my life.

Together Forever
Nick’s Point of View
After we had finished eating I wanted to ask her something. As the sun
set on the beach, I got on one knee and asked the woman of my dreams to
marry me.
"Alyssa, do you love me?" I asked.
"Of course Nicky, I love you with all my heart. I couldn’t love anybody
more than I love you." she said.
"Will you marry me? Will you make us a family forever?" I asked.
"Oh, my god yes Nick I’ll marry you." Alyssa said crying as I slipped
the ring on her finger and we kissed.
I carried her to the house into the bedroom and took our clothes off
and made love to her 3 times that night to celebrate our love for each
other. We came home on Sunday and told everyone the news. She didn’t
want to get married before the baby so we decided to wait. We finshed
the baby’s room that Monday and everything was set for her to have the
baby. The next day we had a doctor’s appointment.
"Hi Alyssa. Hi Nick." Dr. Andrews said.
"Hi doctor." Alyssa said.
"Let’s have a look." Dr. Andrews said.
"That’s cold," she said.
"Do you want to know the sex of your baby?" Dr. Andrews asked us.
"Sure." I said.
"You’re having a baby boy," he said.
"We’re having a boy." Alyssa said.
"Wow! I’m going to be a daddy of a baby boy." I said.
"Wait a minute. You’re also going to be parents of a baby girl too," he
said.
"Twins?" I asked.
"Yes, twins do they run in the family?" Dr. Andrews asked.
"Yes, my brother and sister are twins." I said.
"You’re having twins." Dr. Andrews said printing out the picture.
We left and headed home to tell everyone the news.
Alyssa’s Point of View
We arrived home and told everyone the good news. The doctor said that I
could pop any day now. For some reason the doctor I saw in Hawaii got
my delivery date wrong. I was ready to get these babies out of me and
into the world. I was sitting in the living room one day when my
brother Kevin came up to me.
"Kevin?" I asked.
"Sis I’m sorry I gave you and Nick a hard time. I just feel like I’m
losing my baby sister and that she doesn’t need me anymore," he said.
"Oh Kev, I do need you. You’re my brother. I love you so much. Nick
could never take the place of you, Brian, or JC in my heart. You’re my
brother’s and I love you so much. I don’t know if I would even be where
I am today without you guys in my life." I told him.
"I love you too sis. I’m sorry I got so jealous. I just didn’t want to
lose you," Kevin said.
"You won’t I promise." I said.
"I know." Kevin said hugging me.
"Ouch." I said.
"What? Did I hurt you?" Kevin asked all worried.
"No, Kevin it’s not you. I think my water broke. I need to get to the
hospital." I said.
"Nick! Brian! Get down here now! It’s time." Kevin yelled.
"Kev, that was my ear." I said.
"Baby is it time?" Nick asked.
"Yeah, it is. I’m going to have the babies tonight." I said.

Chapter 11
The Time Has
Arrived
Nick’s Point of View
"Breathe baby." I said.
"I am." Alyssa said.
"Brian can’t you go any faster?" I asked.
"I’m going as fast as I can." Brian said.
It seemed like houirs before we got there. She was shown to the room
and I was aloud to go with her. We were waiting in there and she turned
and said that she was scared.
"Baby, I’m scared too. I love you so much." I said.
"I love you too Nicky." she said.
I went out to give everyone an update on what was going on. My whole
family was there waiting for the first grandchild.
"Tell Alyssa Mom and Dad are on their way." Kevin said.
"I will." I said. I went back in and she was having contractions.
"Baby, you’re parents are on their way." I said.
"Thanks." she said.
A few hours later Dr. Andrews arrived and said that they’re moving her
into delivery. I had to put scrubs on and everything. We were in the
delivery room and she was in so much pain I felt so bad.
"This is all your fault Carter." Alyssa screemed as she pushed.
"I know but you love me anyway baby." I said.
"Says who?" she said.
"Okay Alyssa now push." Dr. Andrews told her. She did and she about
killed my hand. Soon after that our babies were born.
"Look baby." I said.
"We made them," she said as she stroked the girl’s cheek.
"We need names." I said.
"I was thinking. Nickolas Gene Carter Jr. and Elizabeth Jean Carter,"
she said.
"I like that perfectly." I said.
It was then that I realized that I didn’t need some fancy island or
some exotic place I was in paradise right then and there with my soon
to be wife and my babies.
