Denver Concert Review

Monday March 3, 2003

After meeting Nick Faith, Lily, a couple of other people and I went out to eat together and did a little shopping to kill time. We then headed to The Parmount where we waited the next two or three hours at the front of the line. The doors opened at six. Faith and Lily went inside while I waited oustide hoping I would win front row tickets from the local radio station. Unfortunately I didn't win but its ok I got to meet him so its all good. I went in bought a bottle of  water and found my seat where I waited for the show to start.

First up was VI3. Justin is such a hottie. They sang a couple of their songs but my fav part was when they danced to a mix the only song I remember was Ginuwine's "Poney" LOL Need I say more. Then Sev was up next. Sev is a great group but I slept through most of their performance so I would be pumped and energized for Nick. Oh and their bassist looks like a guy that used to work at walmart with me. It wouldn't shock me if it was him because he plays bass and several other insturments but this guy was a little taller than him.

Next up was Nick. Of course. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the show cuz I didn't want to chance my digital camera being taken away plus the pics wouldn't of came out very well cuz my seats weren't all the great. Hopefully someone will be generous enough to let me use there pics from the show.  Personally I thought his show was great My fave songs of course were "Heart Without a Home", "Everything I do", and "Blow Your Mind". Everyone has probably heard these reviews a million times and they basically remain the same from city to city so I will end my review here. It was a great show and the third time I have seen Nick in Concert.  I had the day of my life and will never forget it.

Summer Jam '03

The show was awesome I went witht his cute guy friend from work named, Luke. First a local band came out don't remember their name. I wished it was our local band Twansac that had opened up, they are awesome. Some of ya'll might have heard of them.  They sing a song named Cadillac Love. Well anyways back to the review.

Then some other band that I didn't really care for sang. Don't remember their name sorry. Lmao. Then next I think it was Ricky Smith from American Idol 2 showin his hometown some love.  He did sing I believe I can fly but I don't remember the other songs he sang cuz I wasn't there to see him.

Next was either Frankie J or Clipse don't remember which. I was so shocked to see Frankie J there. I love his music not to mention he is such a hottie. That was the second time I had seen him in concert cuz I saw him the year before when he was with the group called the Kumbia Kings.  Clipse was cool too. Don't remember the songs they did either. Sorry again lmao.

And then there was Tyrese. Poor guy lmao got booed off stage. Not cuz he isn't talented cuz he is definately talented. He sang Sweet Lady and a couple of his new songs. What got the sexy stud booed off stage was insulting us Wichitans by saying KC insteand of Wichita.  I know he tours and some artists don't even know what city they are in half of the time but still may of us were not happy bout the whole ordeal.

Then was the great Busta Rhymes. He was awesome He did a lot of old and new stuff like "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See" and "I know what you want" with Mariah Carey.  He tried to get us to give it up for Tyrese but the only response were ppl Booing.  He then got us hyped for 50.

50 finally came on stage. His performance was awesome. I loved it. He did "In da Club" of course as well as "Wanksta", "Magic Stick"  and I think "P.I.M.P."

The entire show was so full of energy. Busta, 50, Frnakie, and yes evern Tyrese is a definate Must SEE!!

3 Doors Down

The show started off with 12 Stones opening up. Their performance was Totally off the hook. I had never heard any of their other songs before this concert. I just knew the song Paul McCoy sang with Evanescence "Bring Me to life" After seeing 12 Stones Live I was hooked and went out and bought their CD that night. I was right up front in front of their guitarist Erik Weaver who is a total babe along with all the other guys in the band.  They basically sang all of the songs are their album Which was:

Fade Away
Broken
Crash
The Way I feel *one of my personal faves*
Open Your Eyes *another one of my personal fave*
Back up
In My Head
Soulfire
My Life
Running Out of Pain

Paul and Erik constantly looked at my friend Nikki and I cuz we were right there up front :) hehe.

Next was Theorey of a Dead Man who royally sucked. Sorry if you like them my opinion.  They were boring. They had a couple of good songs but they just weren't as active as 12 stones. They were not able to pump us up not to mention they aren't very nice. My friend Nikki asked the guitarist if she could have a hug and he told her no.

Then finally was 3 Doors Down they were awesome. They got us all hyped up once again after Theory of a Dead Man's DEAD performance. They sang their first single ever "Kryptoninte" and also sang "When I 'm gone" their current single as well as their new single out now which I don't know the name of off the top of my head.

3 Doors Down and 12 Stones are yet two more bands that are worth every penny to go see. :)

Evanescence

September 6, 2003

It started out with Revous they were ok. That was the first time I have ever heard of them so It isn't like i know any of their songs. I listened and took a couple of pictures. Then It was Cold. If you dont know who they are they are the band that sing the song "Stupid Girl." I didn't really care for them although I did like a couple of their songs.  I also took a couple of pix of them as well. There was suppose to be one more band there but I guess they weren't able to show or something like that.

Evanescence finally came out Amy came out in this pink and white dress with black words all over it. She told us that is was inspired by Dorthey's dress from the Wizard of Oz except tainted by an abusive boyfriend. Their show was off the hook. They sang my favorites, which are:

Torniquet
Haunted
Taking Me over
Going Under
My Last Breathe
Whisper
Everybody's Fool
Imaginary
Bring Me To Life

They also sang a couple of other awesome songs that I haven't ever heard. I don't know the first one they sang but the second one I am pretty sure was "Even In Death." Amy later changed into black pants and a black tank top and sang bring me to life. They ended the show with Imaginary.I love the show so much if they ever came back to my area I would definately go see them again. They are worth every penny.

Another thing there were several times in the show Amy would say "THANK YOU WICHITA" when we were in Hutchinson, but I didn't have a problem with it. I actually prefered the show to be in Wichita cuz I at least know my way around and have family there. Sorry I am not fond of Hutchinson. I think it is a very dirty city and has nothing there but our state fair and the cosmosphere.

I know not a very good review but I don't remember the order of the songs and stuff. I had a long night lets just say that and didn't get home till after two in the morning because my battery was dead in my car.  Anyways thats all folks lmao ciao. If I remember more than I will add it. :)
