I know she is gonna get me for making her go through with her dare. “Dare?” I said. “I dare you to…French kiss…AJ.” Jessie said.
My eyes lit up. ‘Oh my God. French…AJ?’ I swam over to AJ on the other side of the pool. He was wearing a blue bathing suit. ‘He looks good in those. Second thought, he would look even better wearing nothing.’ I stood up in the pool so I was right in front of him. He was still about three inches taller than me. I looked into his eyes. I couldn’t tell what he was thinking. His eyes were expressionless. I closed my eyes and our lips met. I did as Jessie had told me and the surprising thing was AJ joined in. I was in utter shock.
“You can stop anytime now.” Howie said.
“Huh? Oh, right.” AJ said.
“Wow.” I muttered under my breath. AJ is a good kisser. I’ll have to tell Jessie about this later. I must have been in a daze after my dare, because I don’t remember much of what happened.
I guess we were being loud, because the hotel security said they would have to escort us back to our rooms if we didn’t become quieter. We decided to go back to our rooms anyway.
Sure enough when we got back to my room Jessie started firing questions at me.
“Chill. This is not a press conference.” I said.
“Did you like it?” she asked.
“No.” I replied sarcastically.
“Is he a good kisser?” Jessie asked.
“Yes.” I said.
I went into the bathroom to get changed into my pajamas. And Jessie went to her room to get changed too.
When I came out there was a knock at the door. I looked out the peephole and saw a green eyes staring back at me.
“Hey Kev.” I said as I opened the door.
He walked into the room and sat on my bed. “Are you okay? You seemed a little dazed earlier.” He said.
“I’m fine. Just a little tired, but other than that I’m fine.
Jessie came back into my room. “Hola!”
“Rachel likes AJ doesn’t she?” Kevin asked.
“No!” I shot back.
I could tell by his expression that he didn’t believe me.
“Okay, so I like him a little.” I admitted. “But don’t tell anyone.” I added quickly.
Kevin treated me like his little sister. He is constantly looking out for me.
“Kevin!” Howie shouted.
“Yo Kev! Where the hell are ya?” AJ’s voice echoed down the empty hallway.
I laid down beside Kevin on the bed.
“You look sore.” Kevin observed.
“I am.” I replied.
Kevin began massaging my back. I closed my eyes and relaxed. I heard a little snicker from Jessie, but thought nothing of it.
“Slumber party!” AJ yelled in my ear as he leapt onto the bed. “What the?!” I yelled as I flew in the air. I landed and found AJ lying next to me with a huge grin on his face. He was in his boxers.
‘Nice.’ I thought to myself.
Howie was seated on a chair.
“Where are your pajamas?” AJ asked Kevin.
“Wait, you sleep in your boxers?” I asked.
AJ nodded and said, “Sometimes.”
“What do you mean, ‘sometimes’?” I asked.
“Never mind.”
“Oh my God Rach, how dense are you? Do all of you guys sleep in boxers?” Jessie asked.
“Most guys do.” Howie said.
I grabbed the bottom of Kevin’s shirt and pulled it off.
“There. Now you are half in your jammies.” I said.
“Flirt!” Jessie whispered in my ear.
I grinned. “Ooh, nice stomach." I said with satisfaction in my voice.
“Jessie’s being very quiet.” Howie stated.
“Huh?” she asked, looking up.
Howie turned to me. “My stomach is better than both of theirs.” He said triumphantly.
I laughed. Just then Denise entered the room. “Bed time children.” She said.
“Aww come on mom! We were just having a slumber party!” AJ whined.
I couldn’t help laughing at how he sounded like a five year old.
“Not tonight.” She said.
“But I’m making friends. See?” He said.
He put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me close to him. “This is my new friend, Rachel.” AJ said proudly.
“AJ, you’ve known her for 2 ? weeks.” Denise pointed out.
“Well, I was uhh, bonding with one of the lovely dancers.” He said.
I blushed when he said the word lovely.
Denise gave him an annoyed look. “You three have five minutes to leave.” She said to the boys. “And Jessie, you should get back to you’re room too.” Then she left.
“Night.” Kevin said. He picked me up and hugged me.
“Night big brother Kevin.” I said. A yawn escaped my mouth.
“Night” Howie said, then hugged me.
“Good night Rachel.” AJ said. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me close, wrapping me in a hug. Then he kissed the top of my head.
“HEY! Where’s my hug? My kiss on the forehead?” Jessie whined.
The guys laughed and went over to where she stood and each gave her a hug.
“I feel loved.” She said.
When the guys left, I let out a dreamy sigh.
“How do you do it?” Jessie asked.
“Do what?” I asked.
“Flirt with three guys at once.” She said.
I grinned. “I’m just good like that.”
