We had gathered at Howie’s house were relaxing in the hot tub after a long, hard day of work.
“Some of them are pretty fine.” I said while thinking of Rachel.
“Who do you want in bed?” Nick asked.
“Nobody.” I lied. “I was just saying that some of them aren’t too bad looking.” I added.
“Hey Nick, I saw you getting pretty flirty with that girl. What was her name, Jessie?” Brian said.
“I was not flirting!” Nick defended in a whiny voice.
“Uh huh sure you weren’t Frack. I know too well.” Brian said.
“She’s just a friend of the new dancer. That’s all. Why are you picking on me anyway? AJ was flirting with the redhead.” Nick defended.
“She’s a good dancer.” Kevin remarked.
A cell phone rang. All five of us jumped up.
“Mine!” Brian shouted. He answered the phone. “I gotta go.” Brian announced. His tone of voice indicated that he was worried.
“What’s wrong Rok?” Kevin asked.
“Chloe just called. She’s hysterical. Her mom called and her little sister is missing.” He answered.
