I was sitting in the hallway, and could hear every word Diana and Zac were saying.
“Why do they do this to each other? They are tearing my family apart.”
“It’s okay, Mom.” Said Zac walking up to his mother. “Sooner or later they’ll get over Haley, and go back to the way things were.”
“I don’t know why they do this to themselves when Haley doesn’t have any feelings for them.”
If only they all knew that I do have feeling for both Isaac and Taylor. I want to be with them. I want to move back into their house and be part of their family again, but I can’t at least not now. It’s so hard to sit back and watch two brothers fight, especially when its about you.
“God, if he even gave me a black eye, he’s gonna lose something.” Moaned Taylor wakeing up and running over to his full length mirror.
“I never want to hear you say that again!” scolded Diana.
“Im out of here!” shouted Taylor storming past Diana and Zac.
“Haley.” Said Taylor stopping dead in his tracks.
“Hi.” I said weakly
“Why are you crying?”
I just looked away from him. I have to admit I was shocked that he was even talking to me.
“Fine don’t talk to me!” Taylor said sounding a little hurt, then he continued on his way down the hall.
Eventually Isaac woke up, and he too wanted to pay Taylor back for messing up his hair. I’m sorry, but how can you mess up his hair?
For some reason I refused to get up from my spot in the hallway. I keep on telling myself to get up and go back home, and that I wasn’t welcome there, although I knew that I was. I think that I was secretly waiting for Isaac to come out of the room, but he never did.
“Haley” said Diana walking out of the bedroom, “Why don’t you go on home. I will send someone over with your clothes in a little bit.”
“Alright,” I said finally getting the strength to get off the floor, “I’m sorry for everything that’s happened.”
“I know you are, but please just go home.” She pleaded with me.
“Goodbye.” I said heading down the hallway and out of the Hanson’s lives for what I hoped forever.
