Felicity tried her hardest to finish the sentence she was reading, but AJ’s wandering hands were preventing her from concentrating. There were only three more pages in the chapter they were reading, and once those were over they could take a break and do whatever they please. She looked up at and AJ and saw that he was obviously concentrating and not concerned about the placement of his hands.
“Stop it!” Felicity finally said swatting his hands away.
“What?” AJ asked tarring himself away from the book to look at her.
“Your hands. They are quite distracting if you haven’t noticed,” she said annoyed, turning back to the book. AJ smiled and leaned down to kiss her neck. His hands went back to her body and roamed. “Alex!” she exclaimed. “I want to finish this chapter!”
“Well I did too, but I got now other things on my mind,” he replied as he continued to kiss her neck.
“Why did I ever think that we could read together? It seems like every time we try to read it end up like this.”
“Point being?” AJ teased. Felicity pushed him away from her while grabbing her copy of Harry Potter out of his hands. She once again immersed herself in the book, wanting to quickly finish the chapter. “Baby?” AJ pleaded.
“Get over here and let’s finish this chapter,” Felicity said as she once again drowned into the imaginary world of wizards and witches. During a visit to London for a gallery exhibit she ran across the first book and immediately fell in love with it. After meeting AJ, he saw her interest in the book and wanted to see what all the talk was about. He too read the first and second books and fell in love. They then decided to read the next books together. Most of the reading was over the phone, where they would read the book to each other loving to hear the others voice. However, when they got time together, the enjoyed curling up together and reading the same book. Felicity was a faster reader so she would always finish a page first. At first, they would have to ask each other when they were finished but now AJ would just turn the page wordlessly, knowing when she was done.
They were on the last page of the chapter, each trying to read a little faster, when AJ’s cell phone rang.
“You’ve got to be kidding me!” AJ exclaimed as he reached over to the nearby table and grabbed his phone. He set down the book and ended the obnoxious ringing. “Hello!”
“Well fuck you too!” Howie teased, mocking AJ’s angry tone.
“Sorry, you just kind of interrupted us, that’s all,” AJ explained.
“Ok, ya know what? I really don’t want to know what the hell you were doing.”
“We were reading asshole!”
“If that’s what you want to call it…” Howie snickered.
“Is there a reason you called other than to harass me?” AJ asked annoyed.
“Yeah, I need to know if you and Felicity plan on joining us tonight for dinner.”
“I already told you we would.”
“Yeah, but you guys have been staying in the last few nights and not even noticing any of us exist, so I thought you might not want to.”
“Well you know how it is, when you’ve been apart from your girl for so long… Wait a minute, you wouldn’t know,” AJ teased before laughing.
“HA! HA!” Howie replied sarcastically.
“Alex, be nice to him!” Felicity scolded as she got up to get a drink. Howie heard her and broke into a fit of laughter.
“See, now you got me in trouble!” AJ exclaimed throwing his hands in the air.
“Good,” Howie replied still laughing. “Oh, I almost forgot. We were thinking about going out after dinner. Do you guys want to join us?”
“Let me ask Felicity,” AJ said looking to Felicity as she sat back down next to him. “You want to go out clubbing tonight?”
“Who’s going?” Felicity automatically asked.
“Everyone but Brian and Leighanne,” Howie answered.
“Everyone but Brian and Leighanne,” AJ repeated.
“Sure,” Felicity said smiling. If he was going to be there then she would of defiantly said no, dinner was enough for her. She had been doing a pretty good job avoiding him so far. Even when she did see him, she always found something else to do instead of talking to him. When she got a little adventurous, she would hang onto AJ and make her affection known, just to see that jealous look in Brian’s eye. This new vindictive streak was nothing like her and she didn’t want it to go on any longer, but she didn’t know how to stop it. He hurt her and she wanted to make him hurt too.
After a few more minutes on the phone, AJ hung up and sat back down next to Felicity. They quickly read the last page of the chapter and, soon as they were done, AJ’s hands were all over Felicity, franticly trying to get close to her. Felicity couldn’t help but giggle at his actions, he was really too much. That’s why she loved him.
