LATER THAT NIGHT
"So have you found his number yet" asked Alex as she walked into their dad's office
"No 411 says his number is unlisted" said Nicky
"Well have you tried the number in daddy's phone book?"
"No why?"
"Because what if he hasn't moved and still lives there or if he has moved maybe the people who live there now know where he is and how to reach him"
"I hate to admit it but that's actually a good idea" Nicky pulled the phone book out of his dad's desk drawer, looked up Howie's number and dialed it.
"Hello Dorough residence"
"Hi, this might sound a little forward but. What's your father's name?"
"Why?"
"I can't tell you until I know your father's name"
"It's Howard Dwaine Dorough why?"
"I just got two more questions for you before I can tell you"
"O.k. what are they"
"How old are you?"
"15" "And do you have any brothers or sisters?"
"Yeah I have 2 older sisters a twin brother and a younger brother. Now why do you need to know all this information about me?"
"You're probably not gonna believe this but...."

"O.k. let me start out at the beginning. O.k., my name is Nickolas Gene Carter Jr. but everyone just calls me Nicky"
"I still don't get what this has to do with me my dad or my siblings"
"O.k. it all started about 29 or 30 years ago...." Nicky went on to tell her the whole story and all about the reunion
"Oh my god that's actually a good idea thank you thank you thank you"
"What I do?"
"My dad is gonna be turning 50 in a about 4 months and he's been really depressed about it and we've all been trying to find away to cheer him up and this reunion thing might be exactly what he needs"
"So I'm gonna take it you guys definitely gonna be at the mall tomorrow"
"Yep we'll be there"
"Great. But remember don't tell your parents"
"I know"
"So I guess I'll see you at 10:00"
"Yep see ya tomorrow"

THE NEXT DAY AT THE MALL
Nikki, Nicky, Chris, Alex, and Brian where sitting at a table outside New York Fries
"What time is it?" asked Brian
Nikki looked at her watch "Quarter after 10"
"Where is everyone?" asked Brian
"Nikki, Chris" yelled a young girl rushing toward the table followed by 3 other people
"Courtney what took you guys so long?" asked Chris
"Hey, we're here aren't we"
"O.k. Nicky Alex and Brian these are our cousins Serena, Bradley, Courtney, and Amanda" said Nikki introducing everybody
Everybody sat down and started to about the reunion when they were approached by a little girl and her mother
"You must be Brianna" said Nicky with a smile on his face
"Yep that's me and this is my mom"
"Just call me Cassie" she said as she looked at all the kids at the table. "Oh my god" she said looking at Nicky
"What's wrong" he asked
"Your Nick's kid aren't you?"
"Yeah why?"
"Has anyone ever told you you look exactly like him?"
Nicky just smiled and introduced Cassie and Brianna to everyone. Just after he finished talking a teenaged girl came up to them
"Is you the people organizing the Backstreet Boy's reunion thing" she asked
"That's us" said Brianna
"Hi I'm Gloria Dorough....." she turned and waved for her 4 siblings to come over ".....and these are my brothers and sister Chelsea Michael Michela and Jordan. We're Howie's kids" she said
Serena introduced them to everyone and they all immediately got to work planning the party.
HALF AN HOUR LATER
"O.k. so all we need now is a theme and a place to hold the party" said Bradley
"I know a place you can hold the party and I have a suggestion for the theme" said Cassie
"Where?" asked Chelsea
"Well A.J. and I own a night club but we're closed during the day and all Sunday so you can throw it there" she suggested
"Great, now all we need is a theme" said Alex
"Why don't you set the club up to look like the Sea World auditorium?" suggested Cassie
"Why?" asked Nikki
"Because that was there first gig. It was on May 8 of 1993"
"That's a really good idea" said Courtney
"That just gave me a idea" said Gloria as she pulled a little agenda thing out of her bag
"What?" asked Chris
"Just as I thought May 8 is a Sunday"
"Your point?" asked Jordan
"Cassie you said your club is closed on Sunday right?"
"Right"
"So why don't we change the date of the party from May first to May 8 then we can totally recreate the Sea World thing"
"Yeah, that's a good idea" said Nicky
"Plus that gives us an extra week" said Courtney
"Now we only have one small problem" said Michela
"What's that?" asked Alex
"How are we going to get are dad's there?"
"That's a good question" said Michael
"Well I guess A.J. will be the easiest one to get there" said Serena
"Why do you say that?" asked Brianna
"Because you can just say there's something he needs to see at the club or something"
"But how will we get everyone else there?" asked Amanda
Where is your club anyway?" asked Michael
"Do you know where the Orlando Youth Recreation Center is"
"Yeah" said Alex
"Well the club directly across the street from it"
"I know how we can get our daddy there" blurted out Brian
"How?" asked Nicky
"We can get him to bring us to the Youth Center, I'll run across the street, daddy will chase after me, I'll run inside and daddy will follow"
"But what if daddy doesn't want to take us to the Youth Center?" asked Alex
"Alex when doesn't daddy want to take us to the Youth Center"
"Good point"
"O.k. so that's 2 down 3 to go"
30 MINUTES LATER
"So everyone knows how there getting their fathers there right?" asked Cassie
"Yep" all the kids said in unison
"Anyway we better go home, our dad's probably wandering what happened to us" said Nicky
"Before we go I've got question" said Chris
"What?"
"We want our moms to be there right?"
"Yeah"
"Should we tell them about the plan?"
"Yeah tell them but don't tell them till the day of the party"
"O.k. see you guys on the 7th"
"Yep, bye"
"Bye" and with that Nikki, Nicky, Alex, Chris and Brian left
