It all started about 30 year ago. When my mom took me to an audition held by one of Florida's wealthiest men, Lou Perlman. When we got there I auditioned along with over 100 other guys to be a member of an all guys group he was starting. Originally I didn't make it but about a week later I got a call saying that the judges had watched my video again and asked me to join. At first the group consisted of me, 2 guys I had already met and became good friends with A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough and 2 other guys that quit before we could even get started. But we managed to get in touch with a friend of ours that worked at Walt Disney World and he hooked us up with one of his friends Kevin Richerdson and once we heard Kev sing we knew he had to join. After he joined we only needed 1 more person to make our group sound perfect, so Kevin called up his cousin Brian Littrell who immediately flew from his home in Kentucky to Florida to audition for us. He was exactly what we were looking for. One week later we were off to New York to try and land a record deal. About a year later we were signed with Jive records and it all took off from there. For the next 15 years we were superstars. We were touring the world, selling millions of albums everywhere, our faces were on the cover of every major magazine, it was always Backstreet Boys this, BSB that, it was a dream come true for us. But after awhile we all got married and we wanted to start families and we couldn't exactly do that while touring the world so we decided to split up for about a year, but when we finally decide to get back together we got into a huge fight and we haven't spoken since. You know it's kinda funny I can't even remember what the fight was about (probably something extremely stupid). Anyway your probably wondering who I am. My name is Nickolas Gene Carter but my friends call me Nick, I'm 43 years old, I'm married to the most wonderful girl in the world her name is Emma she's 41. We have 3 kids Nickolas Jr. but we call him Nicky he's 14, Alexandra (Alex) she's 12 and Brian who is 9. Brian was named after Brian Littrell who was my best friend in the whole world until the big fight.
