Chapter 2

After a couple hours of sitting on the beach you all decided to go in and get dressed up and go out that night. Despite the fact that you were all tired, you were too excited to just sit around in the room. About two and a half hours later all three of you were all dolled up and ready to go. You had chosen to wear a white sundress with white flip flops and your long hair was down. You accompanied your tanned skin with a bit of white eyeshadow and some silver and your cheeks were already rosey from laying out. You were the most conservative one out of the group, but you looked awesome. Marie wore some cute greenish summery pants with a halter top, and looked good, but she wasn't really looking for any guys, considering she was practically married to her boyfriend back home. Liz was in the same boat you were. You had been talking about maybe having a little "Spring Break Fling" since neither of you were seeing anyone at the time. She was wearing tight black pants with a backless pink tanktop with some pretty tall chunky black sandals. Her short dark brown hair was pulled slightly behind her ears and she looked great.

"Let's go already." Marie said, "I'm starving!!" You all agreed and were out the door in no time. Earlier on the beach you had noticed a restaurant a little ways away that looked pretty nice so you decided to walk down that way. You wanted to walk too because you knew that after the night was through neither or you were going to be able to drive. (he he)

"So where do you guys want to go after dinner?" you asked the girls.

"I don't care. That bar by our hotel might not be a bad idea." Marie offered. "Unless you have something else planned on your little agenda, Stac."

"No, I don't, Marie." you said firing back the comment she said to make fun of you for all the "research" you had done prior to the trip. "We can do whatever you guys want. I think going to that bar after dinner is a good idea."

"Alright then. We'll do that." Liz said, trying to be the decision maker. After dinner you all walked down to the bar, which was pretty much completely dead except for a few people.

"Well this sucks." Marie said.

"Yeah, this isn't lookin too good." Liz agreed.

"Well let's just have one drink and see if it gets any busier. It's still early." You said. They both rolled their eyes but you shoved them to the bar and all ordered your drinks. The music was pretty good and so you tried to get them to lighten up by dancing a little bit, but they weren't falling for it, so you told them that they could leave.

"Sorry Stac, this just doesn't seem like the type of place we're going to meet those boys we came down here for." Liz said.

"I know. Let's go." you finally admitted. You all finished your drinks and set them down and then thanked the bartender. Liz and Marie walked out first then you forgot your purse so you ran back to get it and when you went to open the door someone else was coming in, so it opened for you. You looked startled and obviously the person who opened the door did too.

"Excuse me." You said nicely, while the most gorgeous person you had ever seen stepped through the door.

"No, excuse me." He said, his bright blue eyes looking into yours. You both stood there for a minute then you heard Liz yelling, so you hurried up and walked out. You caught up to them and then turned back to see if you could catch a glimpse of the blond haired beauty you had just seen. To your surprise he still had the door open and was looking at you too. You gave a little smile then turned around and started giggling. "What are you laughin about??" Marie asked.

"I just saw the man of my dreams!!" you said screaming. "He opened the door for me and then we locked eyes for what seemed to be an hour!"

"I didn't see anyone, Stac." Liz said.

"Well then you missed out. Man, I hope I see him again!"

"Well, we've got a whole week here. Hopefully you will." Marie said as you went back to your hotel room to get directions to the club you had in mind to go to next.
