He was in his "old" car. The car was gray with pink lines going along the sides. There was rust on the edges of the license plate. It looked almost like a car from the 60s. Derrick was trying to save money so he could buy a brand new convertible, but he always ended up spending it on Nicole.
"Now I'll have to walk home in the dark and in the rain."
He was halfway home when he heard a startling noise behind him. Derrick stopped in his tracks and slowly looked behind him. There, he saw a shadow going into the bushes. Slowly, he walked toward the bushes. They moved and Derrick's heart almost stopped.
All of a sudden, something hit him from behind with an amazing force that knocked him to the ground.
