She wanted some water. Brian walked into the room instead of Nick.
"Hi, Brian! Ummmm, where's Nick?"
"Oh, well he went over to your house to pack some stuff for you."
"Oh ok. Would you mind getting me some water, please?", Nicole asked politely.
"Sure. Be right back."
Brian wentr downstairs to get Nicole water instead because he always thought that drinking bathroom water was digusting, but Nick didn't feel the same way.
When he returned, Nicole was gone.
"NICOLE!! NICOLE!! WHERE ARE YOU???", Brian shouted at the top of his lungs.
"I'm here! Don't have a heart attack!"
"God! Where were you? You scared me half to death!", Brian exlaimed.
"I just had to go to the bathroom. What did you think I was? Dead?"
"No. But I would be if Nick found out that I lost you."
"Oh Brian. He wouldn't do that!"
"Whatever. Anyway, here's your water."
"Oh yeah. Thanks Brian."
While she was drinking, Brian asked her a question.
"Nicole, how do you feel about Nick?"
She almost choked on her water.
"Why do you ask that?", she asked, suprised.
"Answer the question", Brian demanded.
"Well, he's my best friend. How would I feel about him?", Nicole asked innocently.
"Well...... I don't know. I mean I've seen you guys and well I think you guys like each other, but don't realize it."
"Brian, you're being ridiculous. I mean why would he like me? He's a great guy, he could have any girl that he wants."
"Why do you say any girl? What's so good about him?"
"Well, he's funny, cute, cool, friendly, and just so GREAT."
"I'm telling ya, love is in the air!"
"Brian, you just tricked me. Okay, so maybe I have this little crush on Nick. So what?
"More like huge. Tell him about it. I'm sure he feels the same way."
"I'll think about it, but until then, not one word!"
"I promise."
