Brian was leaning on Nicole's shoulder and was sleeping like a baby.
When they reached Nick's house, they woke up Brian.
"Hey Brian. Get up. We're home.", Nicole said.
"Huh? Okay.", Brian said sleepily.
He walked into the house and fell asleep on the couch.
Nicole tried to get out of the car but ended up hurting herself.
"OWWWW! That hurt."
"Nicole! What are you doing? Let me carry you inside."
"Thanks Nick!"
Nick scooped her into his arms and carried her to one of the guestrooms upstairs.
Nick went back downstairs and took the crutches out of the car.
Exhausted, Nick went to his room, but on the way, he stopped at Nicole's room.
"Hey Nick. Wanna talk?"
"Sure."
"Okay, come sit on the edge of the bed."
Nick made his way to the bed and sat on the edge and asked, "Can I just ask you one question?"
"Yeah."
"What the hell happened?"
"Well, I was coming down to see if you guys made up and then like I swear somebody pushed me. And I know that it may seem weird, but I think it was Derrick."
"Actually I don't think that's weird at all because I thought I saw him when I was talking to Brian."
"Really? Damn, that's freaky."
"I know what you mean."
There was a long silence as they both thought about what happened.
