"Why do I even bother?"

Nick rolled over and looked at his clock. It was 2:35AM.
"Might as well get this over with."

Nick and Nicole opened their doors at the same time. They crept down the hallway walking backwards making sure no one was following even though there was no one in the house.
"AHHHHHH!!!", they both yelled as they bumped into each other.
"What are you doing here?", Nick asked as soon as he regained control of his breath and heartbeat.
"I was coming to see you. What are you doing here?"
"Same reason."
There was a long awkward silence.
"Well, all I wanted to ask was if your kiss to me meant anything to you.", Nicole asked breaking the silence.
"No not really."
"Oh."
Nick noticed the hurt expression on her face and knew that she felt the same way he did.
"But your kiss sure meant a lot."
Nicole's face lit up with happiness.
"Really? What?"
"Well.... you know....", Nick said shyly.
"Yeah, I get the idea because I.....", Nicole said, partially blushing.
"Really, you like me too? Wow! That is soooo great! And all this time I thought....."
He was silenced by a very passionate kiss from Nicole.
"I think you feel the same way.", he said, breathlessly.
"Yeah."
"Well do you wanna have a date this Friday night?"
"Nick, did you forget about me cast?"
"You have a wheelchair remember?"
"Oh yeah! It's a date then."
"Ummmm, Nicole, I promise I won't do anything, but can I sleep with you tonight?"
Nicole tried to decide against it, but she took one look at his face and her heart melted.
"Okay, fine."
"My room or yours?"
"Yours. My room is too empty."
"Okay, but I have to warn you, it's a small bed."
"I know, Nick.", Nicole said with a devilish grin.
