Emily was sitting in the plane, writing on her latest novel when she suddenly heard the announcement that the plane would soon land. She was ecstatic. It was her first visit to Florida this year and she was eager to met up with her friends once again. Cate and Amy, her friends, were more than willing to let her stay for a while too. She would be house hunting since she would be leaving New York with her best friend Lissa to live in Orlando. Her Editor, Jackee, also lived in Orlando. Emily was also happy to find out that her favorite Duo, Nick's Angels (Kirstie and Amber), lived next door to her friends. The plane landed and she hurried out to meet up with Lissa, Amy, and Cate. But there was someone else there too, someone she once knew well. It was Megs! She stood in shock, as did Meg at the site of her long lost friend. They all exchanged hugs and Amy took the liberty to explain the situation. "Meg wasn't supposed to come until next week, but she is a singer now as I'm sure you have heard and she has some photo shoots and recording to deal with then, so she came now. I figured you wouldn't mind.She moved down here with us for more oppurtunity" Amers said. "Of coarse not, my goodness, Megs how long has it been?" Em asked."5 years ago." She emphasized using her fingers. They hugged again before leaving. In the car ride home everyone talked all at once, catching up and exchanging stories. But in the midst of all this excitement, Cate and Amy forgot to mention that they knew the one and only Backstreet Boys. Actually Cate was dating Nick Carter and well Amy had a secret crush on Brian, but Cate was the only one aware of this.
When they reached the giant house owned by Cate and Amy, they all rushed in to their rooms to bring out gifts and other stuff they had picked up for their friends. Em of coarse, had to unpack a bit to get there but soon they all exchanged the cheesy yet meaningful gifts for each other. Megs and Em even had gifts for each other, even though they were originally just objects they had happened. After a rushed dinner of Chinese food, there was a knock at the door, Cate answered it and in walked her loving boyfriend, Nick. But he brought one of his friend's too, Brian to be exact. Nick kissed Cate passionately as Brian teasingly made gagging noises and walked into the living room to find an unfamiliar face. He had met Lissa the night before, and knew Megs, Amers, and Cate but who was the blonde sitting on the floor all by herself spacing out. He seemed intrigued to find out. Amy was the first to notice Brian's entrance and ran up and hugged him, they were pretty good friends and she did this often. She looked at him longingly in the tank top he wore that showed off his tattoo. But he was too dense to realize that Amers was madly in love with him. Cate entered the room next and introduced Nick and Brian to Em. Emily was quite taken with Brian, but didn't say anything about it either. "I got to go to work, my new job starts tonight." Complained Lissa. "We'll go with you, AJ and them are already there." Nick stated. Lissa worked as a bartender in one of Orlando's hottest clubs, "The Green Dot". Lissa's ears perked up at the sound of his name, he was definitely someone she could see herself pursuing but Megs was thinking the same thing. They all managed to get to the club in one piece. More introductions were made. There was Kat, whose eyes never left Nick's ass, then Heather, Stephania (pronounced Stefania), Kevin's girlfriend Lea, and Howie's girlfriend Courtney. Everyone danced, drank, and drank some more. But despite being around completely new people they were all friends with at least three of the occupants and were quite comfortable. Em and Megs felt a little left out and began bonding again to pass the time, they realized fate wasn't done with their friendship yet and it could only grow stronger.
