Courtney awoke the next morning lying in bed next to man she loved with his arms wrapped around her. Howie stirred in his sleep quietly, and then slowly awoke to the face of his girlfriend.
“Hey you” he whispered to her.
“Hey yourself” she replied as Howie sat there thinking about what had happened last night and what he’d come to tell Courtney. He was somewhat regretful for not telling her last night but the night of passion that they’d had was unbelieveable and he couldn’t pass it up. As Howie sat in bed with his arms wrapped around Courtney, she smiled, satisfied with the fact that she’d be keeping her man and no woman would come in between of them. She’d make sure of that.
“And in other news, the hit boy band, The Backstreet Boys are going on tour this summer…” the new reporter rambled on as Kevin quickly hit the TV off. What the hell am I going to do… he wondered to himself.
“I’ll make a list!” He suddenly thought. “Pros and Cons of each girl, yeah that’s right.” Kevin quickly went through his desk trying to find a piece of paper and a pen but had none so he opened up his laptop. This should do he thought to himself.

Brian awoke to the sound of a phone ringing. Groggily he reached over to the dresser and picked up the phone.
“Hello?” He tiredly slurred.
“Brian?” Nick questioned into the receiver.
“Yeah Nick what’s up?” Brian asked seeming somewhat more awake.
“Ummm Bri, I think we need to talk about something.” Nick explained.
“Nick? Nick where’d you go? I woke up and you weren’t there anymore…” Brian heard Em say over the receiver as a jolt of pain went through him.
“Oh shit.” Nick whispered. “Bri, ok look it’s not what it seems. It really isn’t…” But Nick didn’t have enough time to finish his sentence as the sound of the dialtone rang through his ears.
”What? What’d I do?” Em asked as she watched Nick’s face turn pale as he sit down.
“That was Brian on the phone Em. He heard you say that and hung up.” Nick explained.
“Oh my god…” Em whispered sitting down also. “Shit Nick, this is horrible.”
“I know, I know. Well, I guess we’ll just have to talk to him about it when he comes to drop Amy off.” Nick told Em immediately regretting it the minute it was out of his mouth.
“Amy’s over there…” Em questioned whispering with a look of hurt on her face.
Nick sighed. “Yeah, Amy’s over there. She called Brian last night upset about something so when he dropped me off, he picked her up…she’s not back yet.” Nick told her.
“Well then. He has no damn reason to be pissed at you and I if Amy’s over there does he?!” Em nearly screamed as she walked out of the kitchen trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill over.
“Brian, what’s wrong?” Amy questioned when she awoke to find Brian sitting up in bed staring at the phone with a dazed out look on his face.
“Em and Nick slept together…” he whispered. “I can’t believe them….they fucking slept together!” He almost yelled, getting more angry.
“Um Bri? Newsflash hunnie. So did we.” Amy reminded him.
“I know but God, my best fucking friend sleeps with my girl…I mean ex girlfriend.” Brian rambled as Amy sighed. He’s not over her. Amy grabbed Brian’s arm and pulled him towards her and held him as he talked about everything. It’s gonna be a long day… Amy thought.
