Homework is an understatement.

Chapter IV

He laid his thin frame down on one of the beds in kath and I's room; "I just have one question." He spoke.

My heart fluttered. "What would that be?"

"Why are you in your night clothes at 2:30 in the afternoon?"

He looked at me intently. " I hate traveling, and I had been in my previous clothes for hours, and I needed a change."

"I know what you mean." He shook his head.

He pause for thought, and looked down, "You wanna do something?"

"What is there to do? You can't go ANYWHERE with out being attacked by screaming mobs of ditzy girls," I said, bluntly, "You're good, But not THAT good."

"What do you mean?" He inquired.

"Good meaning, you couldn't get through the mean streets of Chicago without at least ONE mob."

'Yeah, you're prolly right." He thought again, "Any homework?"

"Homework is an understatement." I said, showing him my near ton-age book bag.

"Alright, " he said, "Let's get a start, I'm so bored."

He sprawled out on the bed, popped open his math book. "You're in the same math as me!" I exclaimed.

"What grade are you?" He asked.

"8th." I replied.

"Oh." He said. "Wait, why are we in the same math?"

"They bumped me up one." I answered, laying next to him.

"I hate it. Zac can do it. It makes me feel so stupid."

"Oh I love it! It's a challenege. I need one of those." I smiled.

"That's my problem." He frowned.

"Here," I grabbed the book from his hand, "I'll help you."

I explained it to him, and it seemed to click. "Thanks, "he smiled, "Where to next?"

"Social Studies." I stated, grabbing the book, and coming back to his side.

"Good Choice." He said.

I turned to his face and smiled. He slowly leaned in a planted a sweet kiss on my lips. It ook me by surprise.

"First Kiss?" He asked, biting his bottom lip.

I responded by doing the same thing, "Yeah." I lied, I'd kissed guys before. Oh Well, I'll inform him later.

"TTTTTTTAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!" Zac burst through the door, yelling. Ruining the moment.

"Yes Zac."He responded annoyed.

"We're going downtown. Later!"

"Wait,"He said, "Catrina. Wanna go?"

"No, but you can." I said.

"Ok."

And so I was left alone with Isaac around somewhere.
