The Hollow at Harvest
The Hollow at Harvest

On June 4th we traveled to see the Hollow play at Harvest. We drove up the day before the concert and stayed in a really nice hotel. My friend Rocky and I slept in pretty late the day of the concert and had a late lunch. After lunch we stopped by a mall and then drove to Harvest. We arrived pretty early, at 4:00. We were told that the doors would open at 6:00 so we got our CDs and stuff and sat in front of the doors and waited. At around 5:30 people started to arrive so we got up and stood right in front of the door to save our spot. When the doors finally opened we rushed in and got second row (since first was all reserved). We waited some more, and we spotted the guys and talked to them for a few minutes. Soon after, the show started. They played "What Must I Do," "500 Miles," "The World Might Say," and "Don't Worry." During "500 Miles" dustin had to hold up cue cards! That was hilarious! They really rocked the house! I think Rocky and I were aching to jump up and dance but we couldn't cause ya know, it was in a church, and you can't really rock out in a church. :-) After they were done, the church choir sang and then Greg Lourie gave a sermon which was really great! After it was over, we went outside and talked with them for a while. We would have stayed longer but my mom was ready to drive off without me. :-) So we said our goodbye's and got our hugs and left with the memory of an awesome evening and a signed CD cover and sticker and a brand new Hollow t-shirt. :-)
