Skypark Concert Skypark at Club Eden

On November 18, 2000 I attended a Skypark concert at Club Eden in California. It was so much fun! I couldn't round up any friends to come with me, so mom and I got there about 45 minutes early to get good seats. While we were waiting, Tyrone Wells, the band's lead singer, came over to talk to us. As it turns out, they all remembered me from Splash Bash! And Joey has visited our little site here too! *cough* i think they all should visit again and sign the guestbook *cough* :) hehe. Well anywayz... soon the show started after a late sound check (it was all joey's fault! bad joey and his vietnemiese food!) just kidding. :) Two inderesting little grunge type songs spawned from the vietemeise food thing, and a political debate about Nader(?)! Skypark played some songs from their new CD "Over Bluecity" and "Am I Pretty?" such as Viva Satellite, Something, Fall Forever, What God Does, Am I Pretty?, Emily's Love Song, Dive, Here Come the Bugs, and others. Tony told a hilarious story/song about an experiance with Taco Sasos (brain taco)... there wasn't a smileless face in the room! Then the boys played some more songs and the concert was over. They hung around to sign stuff and chat with people. I won a raffle so I got a free t-shirt and a "One More Night With the Frogs" cd! I got my merchandise signed and talked with them for a while. Keith let me wear his ATM hat, which was nice- I felt special. :) When it was time to go, I rounded up the guys and got a group pic. The night was a blast and I can't wait to see them again soon!
