Splash Bash! Splash Bash!

On October 14, 2000 new Christian radio station KFSH held a concert at Raging Waters in San Dimas, CA and I was fortunate enough to attend, here is everything that happened...

Dustin from the Hollow and I were talking and he told me about this concert that the band was playing at so I bought two tickets and me and my friend went. It was at Raging Waters and we got there a little early, about two hours early, so we put our stuff right against the stage to save our spot and went on some rides.

We found Rob, the lead singer from the Hollow and talked with him for a bit, and went on some more rides, then we realized that it was 12:30 (the entertainment started at 12) so we hurried to our seats just as All Together Separate started! They were awesome! So after they sang some songs they went to this upstairs area for an interview for the radio station and we waited patiently in the same area till they were done. They signed a poster and some other stuff for me and we took some pictures and started talking for a while. Those guys are really really nice! We got the lead singer, Dex Alexander into a photo booth with us!

So then we walked around for a little longer and found the rest of the guys from the Hollow and we hung with them for a while. As time goes on, we see several bands hangin around and we took some more pictures and got more stuff signed and talked. All the bands there were extremely nice, especially Skypark! At around 5:30 we worked the Hollow booth for about half an hour and then we went to watch the hollow play. They were awesome! While we were working the booth, Keith and Tyrone from Skypark stopped by and talked to us and they gave us their VIP bracelets cause they didn't need them anymore, and Tyrone gave us funnelcake. So after the Hollow played The Kry came on and they rocked! After they finished I got some more stuff signed and took some pics. We had asked the lead singer to take a pic with us BY the water but he started walking to the water and we had to grab him by the shirt and were like, "No, not IN the water! duh!" he was really funny. :)

After the park closed, we hung around for a while longer and had some interesting conversations with Adam from the hollow, and we went home. A lot more happened that night, but if I tried to write it all down, my hands would probably break off or something. But this night was definately a night that I will never forget!
